The biggest reason you are stuck on a plateau or in a ditch

The biggest reason you are stuck on a plateau or in a ditch
Regardless of what you do, how you do it, how good or bad your life is… you are always stuck…

Stuck in some deep bad place, or stuck on a plateau… stuck is stuck.

So learning what keeps you stuck and how to unstuck yourself, at will, is one of the most important things you can do… and the sooner the better. Because being stuck is not fun.

Cognitive biases, those knee jerk reaction tiny pieces of automatic responses, are at the root of your misery.

The deathbed exercise… death nearing focuses the mind

The deathbed exercise… death nearing focuses the mind

There is a step in the 67 step program that wants you to look at what would be your obituary if you died today.

But there is a much better test, the test:

imagining yourself being on your deathbed: a thought exercise.

Until today I’d thought that what it drives up is all the things you haven’t done, all the things that are important and maybe you can do now… tell people you love them, and other trite things like that.

But today of all days I had an insight.

The insight came because I was trying to figure out what is in common in people who do the 67-step program well, and people who rush through it, skim the surface.

I was trying to categorize them, but I could not see any consistency.

While I was looking, I asked consciousness to look for me too. Continue reading “The deathbed exercise… death nearing focuses the mind”

Does declaring a possibility turn a capacity on?

Does declaring a possibility turn a capacity on?

possibility-of-being-lovingPossibilities in Landmark Education equal DNA capacities… but does declaring a possibility turn a capacity on?

The Landmark Education shortcut that doesn’t work:
“the possibility I declare for myself and my life”
“the possibility I invent for myself and my life”

the words that follow are: the possibility of being prosperous, happy, powerful, free, happy, passionately happy, blah blah blah… inspiring for a moment. A moment. Not even a day. I checked google and a grand total of 4 pages had the exact words… don’t you think it’s telling? I do… Continue reading “Does declaring a possibility turn a capacity on?”

More on why you can’t succeed alone: process, followup

More on why you can’t succeed alone: process, followup

follow through aka systemsI just realized something: following an already established process, going step by step, is a whole different capacity than creating one.

I am weak at both, but I am literally unwilling to spend my limited energies to create a process.

The resistance is so strong, my neck and shoulders are hurting.

What is that about?

There are a lot of ways to analyze humans and their behaviors, and one of them is through conation, which is a, I guess, Latin word for inclination, or inner nature.

Kathy Kolbe created a few tests and she says that the amount of initiative, the amount of energy to start something is finite, and everyone’s can be divided to 20… so far so good, I hope.

The four drastically different ways to approach something, to initiate something are

It’s in your DNA… but it’s not working. But why?

It’s in your DNA… but it’s not working. But why?

livingstonYou’ll get the most out of this article, if you map it on yourself, on your life… Everything I write about you can find in your own life, in one form or another.

On Tuesdays I do my grocery shopping. Oftentimes I buy something chocolate, not a whole lot, a few bites I can finish before I get home. Other times I buy more…

I always know I did something really stupid within a few hours… Sugar doesn’t agree with me. Continue reading “It’s in your DNA… but it’s not working. But why?”

When you feel accused… DNA capacity activation learnings

When you feel accused… DNA capacity activation learnings
I turn the capacity on, ego turns it off“It’s easier to evaluate your results through drunken delusion than to gaze soberly in the mirror and face the truth.”

I had another DNA capacity activation session today.

It was different. Some people had already had the same capacities activated before.

I found two big surprises… both strong enough to kick me in the gut:

  1. When I first download the energy to you that activates the capacity, it does what it does, goes through the phases, and when I check the muscletest says: it is turned on. When I come back to you, because you are on a webinar, it seems that there is a lot more work to do: especially on the level of ancestors.A lot lot lot more. It seems that until I open it all up, until the activation goes through your entire ancestry: millions of people, you will only have the capacity available to you… partially or not at all
  2. And in these cases, your ego turned the capacity off entirely.

Your soul correction points to missing DNA abilities…

steve jobs soul correction…or behaviors that ignore capacities, or both.

My soul correction is Forget Thyself… arrogance, and already knowing it all… so the biggest missing capacities for this soul correction are the sight, seeing the consequences of your actions.

The second ability is consistency: actually remembering that there is a sight, and one must look before one can see… very hard for me to learn and be consistent.

Now, what is the usefulness of a “diagnosis” like that?

Make your new DNA activated capacity work for you

Make your new DNA activated capacity work for you
Unconscious Incompetence: the missing item

Like knowledge, capacities are either conscious or not.

When a knowledge, a skill, a capacity is conscious, you know to reach for it when it would be useful. It is like you know you have a Phillips screwdriver… and you reach for it.

But if you have, as far as you are concerned, never had a Phillips screwdriver, you have to substitute other methods to screw in a screw. Imperfect tools for an imperfect result. Or you can give up. Or as most do, get a big hammer. lol. Makes sense so far?

To reach for what is not conscious, a skill, a capacity you have… It won’t be not automatic, because you didn’t know you had it.

When I activate a formerly inactive DNA capacity, when I switch it on, you still don’t know you have it. You paid for it, but you don’t know what got activated. In its absence you only see that life is not quite working in a certain arena. Just like the natives supposedly saw the ripples in the water around the Santa Maria, but could not see the ships. Seeing something they had never seen, a ship with sails, was a missing capacity for them.

A missing capacity is like the missing item, in the missing item exercise I have written about. Continue reading “Make your new DNA activated capacity work for you”

The b.i.t.c.h. about life: what goes up must come down

The b.i.t.c.h. about life: what goes up must come down

F-Roller-Coaster-at-Top-of-Hill-4Nothing is EVER in the bag!

That’s what is a “bitch” about life, that nothing is EVER in the bag. You have to keep your eyes on it, push it, make the right choices, do it, and then, maybe, it gets into the bag, for a moment.

I am talking about projects. Big or small, it is never in the bag until it is in the bag.

They say it is not over until the fat lady sings… but that is for spectators. Spectators who don’t enjoy the show.

For a participant, it is never over until it is done…

No matter how good it looks now, no matter how good it feels now, in the next moment it can tumble, go south, the whole beautiful thing can go to s-h-i-t. And more often than not it does.

Now, why am I writing this article? Because it is my experience, that we all, myself included, behave as if this nature of projects weren’t true.

The anatomy of missing the mark aka sinning

The anatomy of missing the mark aka sinning

Target-371x250

    1. Have you been wondering why public services and big companies employ semi-morons for customer service? I am wondering. I think to mention this, given how many times it has happened in the past week.

Not every customer service person acts stupid, only most of them.

So what is their stupidity about? They only hear what they know. The filter of their mind screens out everything that is not the three-four basic issues: refund request, payment plan request, return request… you know the kind most people will have.

For every issue outside of the ones that the solution is standardized, the customer rep can’t hear…

The mind did not allow the person to interact with reality, only with what’s in the mind.
