Would you be more successful in life with a higher IQ?

In the past few years I raised my available and useful IQ 75 points.

What did I do?

Listen up! Whoever you are, wherever you start, you can do it too!

When I muscletest people I find a marked difference between their innate IQ and their available IQ. Sometimes as much as 60 points.

  • Available IQ is what produces the results that you want.
  • Innate IQ may be the highest you can raise your available IQ.

The idea of something isn’t the thing….

Most people stop and are satisfied with the idea of a thing they want. They never do more, and they are surprised that life doesn’t work.

In this article I won’t talk about the fact that people are not willing to actually do anything much for what they want… it is widely known… so I’ll just assume that you know that, but that is not the only thing that’s missing.

I know it is not nice to be critical of one’s alma mater, but even Landmark Education (where I learned most of what I know) never went beyond that. Continue reading “The idea of something isn’t the thing….”

It’s not if you win or lose, it’s how you play the game

Millions of pages quote this meme, but everybody understand it differently. Because we, culturally defined humans, we have no idea what is the game, and how we play it. No clue what to pay attention and what is relevant to the how.

No distinction.

The dude who coined the meme, Grantland Rice was a sports writer. He made more money that the people he wrote about. Was he happy? Was he fulfilled? Hell no. Couldn’t be… Continue reading “It’s not if you win or lose, it’s how you play the game”

My blah is deepening. How I am digging myself out…

I am not enjoying anything. Not reading, not movies, not even eating.

I asked Source if I am given his blah so I can be authentic when I talk about it. The answer was no.

So now it is my job to emerge from the blah and stay up there. If I can.

One of my students wrote yesterday: Continue reading “My blah is deepening. How I am digging myself out…”

What factors decide the quality of your life?

What factors decide the quality of your life the experience?

Lots of sites talk about the quality of life… but essentially it can be boiled down to an experience. Emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual well-being. All feelings. All experience.

On the other hand we live in a culture that focuses on possession, on selling you something. So it says that owning stuff is what gives quality to your life. Luxury, riches… Continue reading “What factors decide the quality of your life?”

What makes something worthwhile to do, put energy into?

I learn a lot from some people, and next to nothing from others.

This teacher I have, a teacher whom I don’t like as a person has taught me more than maybe all the other teachers combined with just a sentence here and a sentence there.

Why? Because he doesn’t teach anything that he doesn’t personally need, uses, and find useful.

It is hard to imagine why I’d like to follow someone’s example, a person’s whom I don’t like, but there we are: I am following his example in many different ways. Continue reading “What makes something worthwhile to do, put energy into?”

When and if you are entitled, you live in make-believe

Entitled, the worldview, the beingness is the seed level of your life.

A whole life grew out of it, on top of it. A life that is unaware that it is not a natural state of being. That it makes you less suitable for life than those who managed to shed the genes off at age three and six.

This worldview envelops you in a fake suit of invulnerability. A fake suit like the emperor’s new clothes… there is nothing there other than what you imagined.

How do we use our limited resources, energy, time, money

How do we use our limited resources, glycogen, time, money. Brain power. Energy. Attention. All limited resources.

Honestly, I don’t know what glycogen is, and why it is important… but…

Glycogen is some kind of sugar… a major energy source.

We all have resources that are limited. Either in time or in quantity. It seems that glycogen is one of those. It is the energy source that allows us to make things happen, to actually get something done.

And, as it turns out, we spend our glycogen on trifles. 90% of the time… By the way time. That, time is another limited resource… Once you used it up, it is gone. So is your money. Continue reading “How do we use our limited resources, energy, time, money”

Are you a Frank or a Matt? In business, in life…

Frank vs Matt is a concept Andre Chaperon came up with to help demonstrate the two camps or categories (or models) that us marketers operate within.

Although Frank and Matt are not real ‘flesh and blood’ people per se — their traits are absolutely real and based on real people.

You’re currently one of them. Continue reading “Are you a Frank or a Matt? In business, in life…”

We all have multiple personalities… One is delusional

We are in the midst of the Drink your food challenge.

I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know what will happen… what spiritual, what intellectual, what personality issues will be driven up.

Here is what I am getting: people find themselves in the GAP. The gap between who they think they are, and who they are proven to be by the challenge.

This article from 2018 will shed a lot of light on what’s going on. Continue reading “We all have multiple personalities… One is delusional”
