Are you experiencing the “post holiday blues”?

Are you experiencing the “post holiday blues”?

In life, victory goes to the most adaptable… 1 says the law of self-selection. 2

The easiest to observe is yourself… when there is a long enough holiday: 4-day holidays are perfect.

If you get into the holiday mood: doing pretty much nothing… then you didn’t need a lot of adaptability: you probably habitually do a lot of nothing in any given day.

But the most important part is: how long does it take for you to get back into the swing of things… becoming productive, doing what there is to do, without sluggishness of complaint, or yearning to get back into holiday mode.

How do I know? I could say that I am watching you, but truth be told, I am watching myself, and getting back into workday mode has been very hard for me.

Can you change the world by changing yourself?

Can you change the world by changing yourself?

The question in the title is as vague as a question can be vague…

But it is still a good question.

If you look at yourself, you, I bet, knew what the question was, even though none of the words are clear, and mean one and specific, discrete thing… at all.

This is one of the reasons your accurate vocabulary measure is so low, in the Starting Point Measurements. You think you know what words mean… and you don’t even suspect that they don’t mean that… 3

OK, I am not going to take the question apart, you can do it in your own time, instead I’ll attempt to make the question clear… accurate… one-meaning.

If you change your inner world, what you honor, what you value and in what order: will that effect the outside world, other people’s behavior, people who aren’t even aware of you?

Spiritual Practices to get you out of your prison

Spiritual Practices to get you out of your prison

98575990_24_news_la_346792cThis article is 15 months old. I can track how far I have come in 15 months… And can celebrate… it’s new freedom day for me…

Few people are intelligent.

Intelligence is a state where you can see the sameness, where you see that life has no boundaries.

Of course it seems as if there were boundaries, but it’s an illusion… cells have walls, but it is permeable, you have skin, but it is permeable, you are a human, but you are just like everything else, built of cells, like most every living being, have genes, like every living being, and your body performs chemical miracles, every living moment.

But most importantly, you live as if you were an island.
You are locked into I, and you are locked out of life.

All your fears are a result of living as if you were threatened, the I.

You don’t want your carefully preserved separateness upset, and you know that the work I ask you to do will. Why? because you are NOT intelligent.

Independence makes you free from or for something…

Independence makes you free from or for something…

Independence makes you free from something.

I have found that the two kinds of freedoms, 1. freedom from and 2. freedom for are a team.

People have a different level of craving for one of these freedoms, and that’s what drives their growth. Continue reading “Independence makes you free from or for something…”

Awareness or joyless blame…

Awareness or joyless blame…

don't hang your happiness of what can be taken awayAwareness

I don’t miss much. It’s normal for me.

I think one of the big lessons I needed to learn, needed to get aware of, is that your world is different.

It’s been a lifetime challenge. No matter how resistant the world, people, have been to my ideas, until I could identify, with pinpoint precision, what was there that I didn’t have, or what was it that I had that they didn’t have, and therefore didn’t value, I remained ineffective, misunderstood, and not valued.

Everywhere, on every level of communication.

Choiceless freedom? Choiceless choice? Choiceless Awareness? Is Osho right about that?

Choiceless freedom? Choiceless choice? Choiceless Awareness? Is Osho right about that?

I am reading Osho, specifically his collection of talks on freedom.

He didn’t actually write any of his books, they are collections of his spontaneous daily talks in his ashrams to his devotees, answering questions.

One of the most intriguing concepts is this:

You want freedom. Freedom of choice.

And you find out that once you have chosen, anything, the scope of freedom gets reduced, diminished.

He suggests this experiment:

Stand up. Now raise one of your feet and stand on the other leg.
Now lift the other leg…

You can’t, can you?

This is how choice and freedom are connected.

How can you tell if someone is high vibration or just pontificating?

How can you tell if someone is high vibration or just pontificating?

coherence, high vibrationAs I was looking for a picture for this post, I realized that vibration, raising your vibration, as a topic, probably has more bullshit out there than even food…

I can safely say that EVERYTHING you find is that… b.s. and has nothing to do with vibration, or consciousness… So maybe this article is a little late… but better late than never? Continue reading “How can you tell if someone is high vibration or just pontificating?”

What’s your mission in life? YOUR mission… not what others want your mission to be!

What’s your mission in life? YOUR mission… not what others want your mission to be!

What’s your mission in life? Everyone and their brother is asking this question…

The question indicates that you should have a mission… You should have a purpose… or else…

But why is that? Are people misleading you or is it true that if you have a mission, if you have a purpose then life is better? Let’s do some looking together, ok? 4

Some people also tell you to follow your passion. Or they tell you to find your purpose.

Both of those feel too big and both say, find… intimating that there is a passion, a purpose with your name on it. Pre-ordained, given to you by god, or by your birth date… or maybe your soul correction?

But if you have passions, you know that your passions may change over time.

What’s the context of wanting to raise your vibration?

What’s the context of wanting to raise your vibration?
Context is one of the most important things to learn and master… That context is decisive.

I have been trying to teach context, but context is a very difficult concept: it is like looking at the sky behind the clouds.

A cloud against a blue sky is a very different cloud than against a black twirling mass of angry space… Continue reading “What’s the context of wanting to raise your vibration?”

Your core strength and spiritual growth

Your core strength and spiritual growth

I am 70 years old… or to be exact, will be in two more months.

The biggest concern for older people is falling. Falling and not be able to get up. Or break a bone. My sister in law broke her thigh bone…

So many communities across the United States offer free exercise classes to older people to make us more self-reliant and not fall easily.

The exercises are directed at strengthening the core and the leg muscles.

I am mentioning this, because the work of becoming a human being needs a strong core. Otherwise one may get dizzy, scared, or fall.

Just like in real life.

What keeps you from having a strong core?

  • 1. Fear. Fear makes you narrow your cone of vision and either start pretending you are blind, or fixate at your feet… missing where you are going.
