One reason you have no peace inside… And how you could…

awarenessI just discovered that the version of the Freecell game is “forgiving”, i.e. you can go back more than one step… “start over again” without a penalty point.

This makes the game an even better modeling tool than it used to be.

I always suspected that the first step really decides the rest of the journey… but being a Quickstart… jumping-without-thinking-type-of-person, this would not have really mattered.

But now, all morning, I have been testing.

I noticed that I get a tightening of the stomach from the idea and the practice of looking before I leap. It’s fear.

When I manage to include the fear, and actually look, systematically, the success rate is 100%.

What could be the reason? After all I can’t see, consciously, and hold any more in memory than three steps ahead… so why would it be that the success rate is so dramatically different?

What would explain this, and my experience that “something” moves my hand?

I am starting to formulate a new theory.

Are you a soul-less human? Are reptilian influences real?

Are you a soul-less human? Are reptilian influences real?

The reason humanity (and your life) looks the way it looks is because you are a coward.

What do I mean by that? Some people know that they are cowards, some people suspect that they may be cowards, but most people don’t know and don’t give a rat’s ass if they are cowards or not.

What am I talking about?

I am talking about humans’ delusional nature.

It takes courage to have a worldview where you are responsible for what you do, who you are being, what you say. Continue reading “Are you a soul-less human? Are reptilian influences real?”

Do you feel that no one listens, and your contribution is not valued? This solves that…

not-ListenI found this article in my inbox. I think it is perfect for what I teach… So let’s see how it applies… The article is about hypnosis secrets: a way to manipulate others through hypnotic language… I don’t recommend it. The more you use it the less integrity you’ll have.

On the other hand, there is a non-manipulative way you can produce the same results, if what you have to say is good… If what you have to say is crap… even g-o-d can’t help you.

OK, here is the article… I drive it home at the end.

Take this test:

Count up all the people you spoke to (or emailed or messaged) over the last week.

The people at work.

At home.

And the people you spoke to as you went about your day.

You probably won’t be able to remember the exact number.

That’s okay – just guess.

Let’s say it was 20 people.

Now, here’s something to digest:

The responses you got from those 20 people (or however many it was) determined the options and opportunities available to you from last week forward.

If 18 out of those 20 people shot down your ideas or ignored your requests — your options and opportunities will be…

SEVERELY RESTRICTED!

Your machine: Cycles, patterns, spiritual path

Your machine: Cycles, patterns, spiritual path

flowers for algernon... loss is more painful than never having itYour machine: Cycles, patterns, spiritual path: Life is a circle of repeating changes, rising and falling like the seasons.

Although all models are wrong, some are useful. This model is useful.

Robert Fritz, author of the book, The Path of Least Resistance, can offer a lot of information on the topic.

Fritz’s oscillating structures is a model and it is useful. Continue reading “Your machine: Cycles, patterns, spiritual path”

The law of cycles

The Law of Cycles… an excerpt from Dan Millman’s book: the life you were meant to live

The world of nature exists within a larger pattern of cycles, such as day and night and the passing of the seasons. The seasons do not push one another: neither do clouds race the wind across the sky; all things happen in good time; everything has a time to rise, and a time to fall. Whatever rises, falls, and whatever falls shall rise again: that is the principle of cycles.

Patience is power: with time and patience, the mulberry leaf becomes silk. CHINESE PROVERB

Different forms of energy vibrate at different rates; like a river, energy flows from a higher to lower levels, moving through repeating cycles, expanding and then contracting, like our breathing.

Since everything in the universe is a form of energy, everything falls within the domain of the Law of Cycles: Sunrise and sunset, the waxing and waning moon, the ebb and flow of the tides, and the seasons of the year all reflect this law. It reminds us there is a time for everything under the sun. All things have a most favorable and a least favorable time; all things rise and fall. A thought or action initiated while this pulsing energy is rising and gaining momentum travels along easily toward its success, but a thought or action initiated in a descending cycle has a reduced impact. When a cycle is not favorable, we wait until it is rising again. There are times for action and times for stillness, times to talk and times to be silent. Few things are more frustrating than doing the right thing at the wrong time.

Reality, filtered, is not reality… it’s unreality. You only have power when you interact with reality directly

composite_sketchesWhat is happening when you can’t see what is in front of you, only your mind, only the filter?

There are several reasons why you wouldn’t be able to see and respond correctly to what is in front of you.

  1. Reason 1: you start verbalizing what is in front of you, which puts you right in your mind, together with the memories…I call that going to the morass, where you no longer see what you see, it is now displaced by some verbal interpretation… which is not what you are looking at… but a shadow of it.It is invisible to you…

You really think that you are interacting with reality…

The role of structures in happiness, in achievement, in a life worth living

perfect-geometric-patterns-in-nature-22__880I am about as religious as a teacup… and that is actually one of the freedoms that allow me to experiment, to allow myself to be guided through torturous paths, to use my life to discover law-like phenomena, to read everything and the opposite, to allow myself to go from despair to elation and back…

Life, the Universe is largely unknowable. You can, by the way, call it “god” if you wish… and please do that if that will allow you to follow this discussion.

This article will be a little bit hodge-podge, given that I have to gather a lot of disparate stuff to make sense in the end. So bear with me.

Your ability to bear with me will be consistent with the number of capacities you have active on your DNA… If you, like most of humanity, have seven capacities active: you’ll have to hang in there, and maybe read it a few times.

OK, let’s begin:

Your smarts don’t live in your brain… or only your brain

Your smarts don’t live in your brain… or only your brain

modern-human-neanderthalYour smarts don’t live in your brain. Comparing brains is a favorite job of scientist, but they are on the wrong track.

Instead they should ask questions that relevant… I wonder why they don’t think to answer relevant questions.

Questions like what happens when a really smart man has a daughter? How come that women, in general, are less capable, less able to make it in the world?

And the answer doesn’t live in the brain: it lives in the DNA.

Children inherit a combination of their parents’ DNA. A child can be smart, even brilliant as a potential, socialization will force a female child to shut down their capacities to please the parent, especially the mother, and dumb herself down.

No concerns… the technology to become free from concerns

No concerns… the technology to become free from concerns

o-orphaned-foal-teddy-bear-facebookIt’s 2 pm, and by this time, on a normal day, I have written three articles. But until about 10 minutes ago, I had nothing to say today.

Was I worried? Was I concerned?

I wasn’t. How come?

When you observe yourself, you can see that you are concerned with one thing or another all the time.

You should be this or that. You have to this, you need to that… and you definitely should whatever.

I have severed that connection between myself and “obligations” or concerns years ago when I finally got for myself the Unconditional Love Activator, and “not concerned” was born, a drastic change from who I used to be, always in a knot about stuff that should be.

Now, there is an aspect of this concern, and that is what I really want to write about, and how to set yourself free, able to roam the wide world, instead of being locked into a narrow ditch pattern of life.

Your invisible heroes… a guidance from fiction: books, movies, plays

who were your heroes?I read today’s Monday Morning Memo, as usual, and it made me look. 1

Who are my favorite fictional characters?

At first I looked at the ones that weren’t supposed to survive, weren’t supposed to succeed, because they paralleled my own life experience.

But their influence on the multitudes was minimal, because they were about themselves, or maybe about one other person… and I saw that I have grown beyond that path. I have grown beyond the little Chinese boy’s character, my favorite as a child. I have grown beyond the deaf and blind yet dutiful character of Helen Keller, another favorite character of mine from childhood. I have even grown beyond “Socrates”, the orphan boy that became the Peaceful warrior in Dan Millman’s books. The little girl in the movie “King of Masks” or BianLian. that you can watch in the subscribers’ area of my site.
