I stumbled on this old post… and it is exactly perfect for the “What’s the truth about you” workshops, so I thought I republish it…

Question:

Hi Sophie, I have a question. I would like to know your advice. I recently found an astrological site with natal chart sun decrees interpretations which are scaringly accurate.
I bought your Effortless Abundance Book, three days ago, I do believe one can get much more. My doubt is, can we change lanes? concerning those astrological imprints for a better life?

My Answer:

it all depends on your mindset.
if you are trying to change lanes to fix anything: the answer is no.
if you manage to not make anything wrong in the present or in the past!!! not easy, then yes
astrology and such are the mind’s effort to understand the world so it can control it.
the world can’t be controlled, moreover when you want control for safety etc. you are making something wrong.

What determines how you and your life turn out?

What is the mechanism of the machine that you are, that is used to define your actions, your moods, your attitude?

As I said in a few previous articles, your actions, your thoughts, your moods, your attitudes will be correlated with what you see.

The two sides:

what you see, or the way the world occurs to you
your actions, your thoughts, your moods, your attitudes: your world

the two sides are like the front of the hand and the back of the hand, connected, inseparable, but yet distinct.

Can you change your money DNA, your love DNA, your DNA?

I’ve participated in Landmark Education’s programs, on different levels, for 26 years.

In all of those years, there were two sentences that made a difference:

Your actions are correlated to the occurring world. Meaning: your actions depend on what you see. Not your mind… on what you see.
You live in a world of your own design.

The two sentences are intimately connected, though I learned them 19 years apart.

There is a sudden proliferation of programs that claim that they change your DNA… in the area of money, love, or some other concern that you have.

Their truth value is 0%, their attractiveness to you, given that you don’t know how a human machine works, is 100%.

I am quite unflappable…

I can feel the corners of my mouth pointing downward, and I am pouting a little.

The natural law that prevents you from growing

What is the natural law that prevents you from having human being capacities while preserving the seed of right and wrong.

Just like the seed needs to die, before the plant can grow, a new version of humanity depends on the seed dying.

The seed level characteristics of the new version of humanity that prevent evolution are all behaviors, attitudes that are based in scarcity.

How do you recognize scarcity?

There are many, all fear based, but one behavior I just recently discovered, that in fact the behavior comes from a scarcity way of being.

As usual I haven’t done any preparation: I never do. I like my life, I like my teaching fluid. Freezing it would be to ignore guidance, stop growing, and start becoming a sculpture on a pedestal.

I have a friend who I call a few times a year, and then we talk a lot for a few weeks, and then not for months at a clip.

I’ve called him the other day, and now we are talking again.

Today he asked me a question that put me in touch with something I buried deep…

He asked me “What is Energized Water?”

I wanted to find out what he thinks energized water is. And that conversation lead from the pristine spring he got his drinking water from when he was a kid, through the hot springs of Lourdes, the healing waters, to a realization, that because I am an atheist, I have been not allowing myself to be moved.

I have been doing these 90 essential nutrient evaluations for about a month now.

You can have anything but not at the same time

Life, happiness, well-being, prosperity is achieved and maintained only on a narrow and hemmed-in path (the strait), the opposite of what you wish it were, the opposite you see others have, the opposite you see on television, on ads.

You have been duped. You have swallowed the lie, hook, line and sinker and you have been paying the price.

Your life is empty, purposeless, meaningless, and you have nothing to look forward to.

Last night I was pondering, instead of sleeping, ¹ what is the behavioral, emotional age of all humans.

I came up with seven. Seven years old.
