Very “interesting” experience. I watched the first year of Dexter, and although I wanted to watch all episodes, the first year was not addictive.
But I had a premonition about the rest of the series.
Made up by skilled television writers, I knew it was going to be something dangerous to my well-being.
Unneeded complications, many different side-story lines, all dramatic and irrelevant, all stories I would not watch Netflix for. But all of these side-stories had a claw as sharp as the tiny hooks of burr… of velcro.
I felt myself getting hooked on the horizontal world, the irrelevant, the shallow, the dramatic nothing.
And I can feel the ego now clawing for me to return… as if I could not survive without that drek. I am serious. The pull is tremendous.
Now, why am I sharing this? Because this is how the horizontal, the family, the circle of friends, the news, the elections, social media hooks you. On the world or irrelevant, with tiny hooks like velcro.

I have been watching, patiently, for understanding the differences that put one at risk of attachments, while others escape an interaction with the same person, without getting an attachment.
After seeing enough people, and repeatedly removing attachments from the same person, this is what I think I see:
People who want to connect, lean in, emotionally or in actuality, to hear more, to connect more… and that creates the environment in which the attachment can bridge the gap.
This is especially true for jumping attachments.
In my previous article I was looking at the desperate desire to be connected, to fill in the emptiness inside.
As a true empath, I am especially susceptible, even though I don’t feel I lean in, I probably do.
My intention is not from the desire to connect, it is from my work. I need to connect to you to serve you.
I pay a price. I am like a Hoover for jumping attachments, and those with jumping attachments hover, and insist on connecting and connecting again.
If they don’t pay me to remove their attachment, I program my email to automatically delete their emails to me. But even when they do, sometimes it takes a long time and a lot of work to rid them of their attachments.

Can you listen to insults to your family, your god, your country and be unphased?
Can you watch death and grieving and be unphased?
I am unphased 91% of the time. Very few things pull me out of the equilibrium. Times when I need to recover so I can return to being well and being unphased. All of these situations are self-created. none of them are real.
I cry a lot. Why? I feel people’s grief, I feel centuries old sadness, I feel people’s pain of not being allowed to grow, or even to live. Continue reading “Could you be crying and be unphased at the same time?”
Most people are stuck… movement is not possible. It can be total or it can be partial.
To see where you are stuck is difficult, because the cause, the stuck part can be several layers deep.
A skilled coach or therapist may fail to find the linchpin issue, because in the normal course of a therapy, it is talking, the words, that are masking it.
One of my students in the Reclaim program has chosen to work with the idea of inspiring movies. Using movies to unstuck people is a brilliant method, and also fun. And even if the first movie doesn’t do the trick, time wasn’t wasted, because a good movie is also a great experience.
Reading people’s responses of where their Dark Side is, looking through the idea of using movies to get them moving again, or maybe moving for the first time, is very appealing.
All movies have an element of “healing by proxy”…

I see the so-called distance healers the same as the people who use coat hangers to perform an abortion. They may kill the child, they may kill both.
They pretend to be on your side, but really they are all about “desire to receive for the self alone”.
Distance healers leave their “channel” in you… like coat hanger abortioners leave the dirt and pathogens in you. And then you are on your own… suddenly not well. Suddenly carrying the proof of their guilt.
I was directly attacked by a “distance healer” today. They aimed at my tangerine spot but they don’t know where it is, so they missed it by about an inch. I pulled the attachment right away, but the skull where the attachment hit is now sore. Very sore.
