Weeping looking back at the path — republished

I wrote this article in 2015. I am republishing it… because it is important to read now… given the next article I just wrote… It will make it easier to get.

Here I am this cool Saturday morning, weeping.

I observe. What is there? Pain, definitely. Sense of loss, yes. Sadness, no. Regret, no. Resentment, no.

I have had a hard life. The hardest part is the last 30 years. Maybe 33… Since I left Hungary.

In Hungary I had friends. I had people who would want me around, who would walk with me, who would vouch for me.

Are you a nice person? Let’s take a look at that

Are you a nice person? Let’s take a look at that

Is it fear? Or is it unwillingness?

The human DNA isn’t a DNA for kindness, caring, or any of the ‘nice’ stuff we are supposed to be.

In fact, it will take changing the DNA to go to the next level. To the level of human being, to be able to be kind, caring. For altruism…

Our ‘soul correction‘ is the path.

What is the real meaning of “we are all one”?

People’s instincts are good… but your actions following are only as good as your interpretation of the instinct.

Instincts are sign language… with no well-defined sign-dictionary… on second thought, most words are like that too…

So you have an instinct, that you need to team up with another human if you want to grow… if you want to feel good, if you want a life you can love… and then you go south…

Oh, I need a lover, I need a wife, I need a child… and then you follow the yellow brick road to unhappiness.

The instinct says: TEAM up… and you say, ok, teams are about something, sex, security, blah blah blah… and they aren’t. Continue reading “What is the real meaning of “we are all one”?”

What is YOUR context that leaves you unfulfilled?

What is YOUR context that leaves you unfulfilled?

This is an audio that will explain a lot… and you’ll hate it. If by any chance you’ll love it, you just found the secret of a well lived life.

Audio

Okay. It’s Friday morning, and this little talk I’m doing today will not make you happy. Why? ‘Cause it’s going to upset the apple cart. It’s going to wrinkle your sheets. It’s going to be trampling on your beliefs.

So, what am I talking about? Continue reading “What is YOUR context that leaves you unfulfilled?”

How to start to live your life’s purpose: today

How to start to live your life’s purpose: today

your life is like a trainThere is an audio I recorded six years ago but it is as sharp as anything I do today…
It is about how to live your soul’s purpose, and how to start, finally doing something substantial, worth being called your life’s work…

In this old audio I address something really important: your being, your attitude, at any moment, is correlated or very influenced, so much that it is given by the future you are heading for.

The future you are heading for is destination towards which the rails of your train go… If you are on a train to Chicago, chances are you are going to arrive to Chicago.

Many of you don’t have a Self… here is how to find it

Many of you don’t have a Self… here is how to find it

We all have two selves. One is real, the other is made up.

The bigger the distance between the two, the less authentic, the less happy we are.

When you love yourself: you love your life… said in another way: when the two selves are in harmony, you love your life.

The soul’s (the real self) job is to cause character, the soul’s job is to help you find out who you are. The Self. The person you are…

Many of you have not managed to distinguish a Self from all the ideas of who you should be, who you want to be, who you fancy yourself being… The precious I, the delusional self.

A Self is your ‘I’ that is independent and defensible from other people’s opinion, and from even your own opinion of you… when you make mistakes.

I know this is a mouthful, so let me elaborate:

Finish What You Started. Started but didn’t Finish?

Finish What You Started. Started but didn’t Finish?
finish what you started… Or how do you destroy your life, little by little…

There is nothing more significant in destroying your self-image than starting something, with all the hopes and aspirations it takes to start something and abandoning in before it is finished.

Even if you knew yourself as a great person deserving of the dream you set out to accomplish with the project, by abandoning it, by leaving it in the middle, you declare yourself as undeserving, someone less than a match to your dreams. Concerned about what others say about you?

Concerned about what others say about you?
Do you feel responsible for what others say about you? The savior racket

Soul correction, responsibility, what is yours and what is not

First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt said it best: what others think about me is none of my business.

For most people this is the hardest thing to learn. Continue reading “Concerned about what others say about you?”

Starting Point Measurements profile analysis #2

Starting Point Measurements profile analysis #2

The subject of this starting point measurements is young, still in school. Yet I don’t know her.

Because she is so young, I went into more details than I normally would, because it is going to be easier for her to change and get on the strait and narrow that leads to a good life, than for an adult. It is also a guidance more for the mother than for herself: I don’t even know if she knows that I measured her starting point measurements.

So, here you go: Continue reading “Starting Point Measurements profile analysis #2”

More on this soul correction here

Update on 2/4/2020

The essence of this soul correction is this: you see what the completed task/project is… but you don’t do what you need to do to actually do what it takes.

You stop.

90% of the cases communication is missing. You are really good at talking, really lousy at communicating. Why? Because communication is risky. You need to be seen, and you try not to be seen.

What are you hiding? Something that to you seems hideous…

Unless you change your mind about what you think is bad, wrong, not OK about you, you will be stuck in not doing what it takes to have a life work, to have projects taken to fulfillment, to take care of yourself and your family.

It’s really simple…

New insight 3/29/2018

OK, the insight is similar to what I saw last time, but it’s, maybe a little more defined. Finish What You Start hasn’t had the courage to become a person. He looks outside to see if he is doing OK… needs approval.

At the merest suspicion that he should do something different, he is going to jump… and exhaust himself or herself. Doesn’t open up a conversation… and the people they live with learn to direct them with just a glance.

This is, by the way, the reason they don’t have fulfilled projects: they get distracted by their spouses, bosses, and don’t follow their inner calling… either don’t have the courage, or don’t have a calling…

New insight 10/7/2017

I break a lot of eggs every day. I like to eat the yolk separate from the white. So I separate them. The egg white is like snot… No definite shape, no commitment, sneaky.

This is how “Finish What You Start” behave, like the egg white… Avoid being called to account, avoid to be a person who can be counted on.

This seems to be the crux of this soul correction.

I see this soul correction on Scott toilet paper as well: it kinda sorta has a sheet size, it kinda sorta has perforation, but it won’t tear at the perforation… It tears where it wants to tear…

A “Finish What You Start” product, avoiding any accountability, whatsoever. lol… frustrating to me, who likes to have things done.

Looking at the vise… try to control egg whites with a vise… ugh, ugly.

New insight 5/20/2017 courtesy of a student:

Ok.
Today some new things came to mind..
I realized that i live in a vise like pressure i put myself in.. i always do for some reason.. i’m looking at why. i feel its false adopted beliefs.

How i noticed is that thinking about all the reading and the diet the saying no to things and yes to others .. being disciplined and adding structure feels like work , like i have to make it happen.. then i remember my life before.. i was pulled in a thousand directions at once and completely running myself down on things i (wanted) to do..

So today i imagined what it would feel like if i didn’t have anything i had to do or not do.. i ended up thinking id have a nap or just go for a slow walk.. then i realized that the reading and listening and structure and the diet.. all the things i (have ) to do, will make my life so much easier and meaningful than it has been , and i started to actually feel like it is my vacation , my relief.
