Become all you can become? Why? How? Aren’t you?

Become all you can become? Why? How? Aren’t you?

Become all you can become? Why? How? Aren’t you already all you can become?

Yesterday I spent about four hours listening to Jordan Peterson. The material I listened to was a truth value of 30%… not bad. Continue reading “Become all you can become? Why? How? Aren’t you?”

The third brain… immersion: the secret to mastery

The third brain… immersion: the secret to mastery

There are, in my experience, three thinking brains, at least potentially, in every human…

The first thinking brain

The first thinking brain, the mind, that is in cahoots, in collusion with the selfish gene, works against you. That is what creates a life of reactivity, full of fear, full of anxiety, full of sharp turns and devastating jerks. I’ve lived there… and I hated it. Learning to learn… how you learn makes all the difference… What is the theta state of mind?

Some days I just can’t write. I don’t want to write.

Some days it doesn’t make any sense to me to write. It feels like I have done all I will ever do, and it hasn’t made a difference.

One of the main stumbling block for me to being able to make a difference for you, is how you listen.

You listen with a certain economy. You want to make sure that what you hear is relevant, what you hear is true, what you hear is worth listening to.

How do you make the decision what to FOCUS on?

brain-statesYou go to the only place you have: your mind.

The mind is a storage facility. I contains all the things you have put, consciously or unconsciously, into it. Continue reading “Learning to learn… how you learn makes all the difference… What is the theta state of mind?”

The emotion you return to in the most inconvenient moments

The emotion you return to in the most inconvenient moments

remove someone from your heartWe all have it.

Mine is devastation. It pops up when it’s most unexpected. Devastation is between grief and terror… squeezes a tiny drop of tear in my eye, no matter where I am, who I am with, when it hits. 1

It comes up often when I compliment someone.

The other day I sent out an email. I ended with a sentence: “I love working with you.”

Most people just ignored it as social grease.

Two people cried.

One person was pierced by it… dumbfounded why.

Life is a lot like plate spinning… Are you dropping your plates?

Today I learned a new word.

Injecting energy into something… as a way to delay or avoid entropy. Entropy is the universal tendency of everything to move towards dissolution…

This is the nth time I heard this step in the 67 steps, but this time I heard the expression “injecting energy” for the first time.

If I missed it even though I heard it many times, how many things do you miss?

Are you a nice person? Let’s take a look at that

Are you a nice person? Let’s take a look at that

Is it fear? Or is it unwillingness?

The human DNA isn’t a DNA for kindness, caring, or any of the ‘nice’ stuff we are supposed to be.

In fact, it will take changing the DNA to go to the next level. To the level of human being, to be able to be kind, caring. For altruism…

Our ‘soul correction‘ is the path.

Intuitive, counter-intuitive… how we use “intuition” to make everything worse

Intuitive, counter-intuitive… how we use “intuition” to make everything worse

What we call intuition isn’t… but WHAT do we call intuition?

The state of the current humanity is chaos. Everyone has an opinion, just like everyone has an a-hole.

So far so good, Sophie… you groan. But from this, honoring one’s opinion as important, comes the mischief: everyone insists that their version of reality… aka their opinion, is the real reality. 1

Same way about what words mean… words like intuition. Continue reading “Intuitive, counter-intuitive… how we use “intuition” to make everything worse”

Why you are not, in fact cannot be curious?

Why you are not, in fact cannot be curious?

I have decided to re-read the Feelings book, and this time make it a study, memorize the names of the different needs, take a more earnest approach to learning the “language” of the machine that is need-based.

I am feeling a mix of fear and excitement. where? in my stomach, expanding to my chest.

My plan is to read/study the book is to study it at the beginning of my evening reading session for about 10 minutes, and then switch to my “other” book… whatever book I am reading in the evening at the time… currently it is “Curious” by Ian Leslie. You got stuck in the behavior of a 3-4-year old and it is biting you in the ass today

I am writing nowadays a lot about your mental slothfulness, about your lack of knowledge, lack of understanding, and poor absorption of what you are seeing.

In a coaching call yesterday my student started to bring some clarity for me.

He calls it “nodding” when he has no idea what he just heard, or what he just read.

That is the visible part of this huge iceberg… but what is in the immersed part? Continue reading “You got stuck in the behavior of a 3-4-year old and it is biting you in the ass today”

The fixed mindset and how it prevents you from changing

The fixed mindset and how it prevents you from changing

How the notes you take, the stories you tell, put blinders on you and prevent you from growing…

As a coach, I will send you back to the same book, the same video a number of times. My intention is that you watch it… Continue reading “The fixed mindset and how it prevents you from changing”
