Why is it important to know what you want?

Why is it important to know what you want?

Knowing what you want to achieve, is one thing that is missing in you. Another name for that is called “mental representation” of what you want to achieve.

Mental representation is a detailed picture, so detailed and so tangible, that you can pinpoint where reality is deviating from it… and how. Continue reading “Why is it important to know what you want?”

What will it take for you to change?

8837c29244da8a55f79f9377b28b36deWhat is learning? (If in spite of all your efforts to learn, change, become a winner, you haven’t succeeded, this is an article you need to read! You’ll find out why nothing has worked… )

There are two kinds of “learning”,

  1. one is what you’ve been considering learning: information added to your mind
  2. the other is through doing, looking, examination…

If you were good in school, then you were probably good in the first kind… live in your mind, in a narrow cone of vision way. You do life the same way… because how you do anything is how you do everything…

Your vibration is really low, even though you think you are really smart.

But vibration is most correlated with how wide your cone of vision is, how many questions you ask, how much you see.

What is the bane of your existence? What kills your joy?

What is the bane of your existence? What kills your joy?

life-is-either-a-daring-adventure-or-nothing-5What is the bane of your existence? What kills your life? Your joy, your fulfillment, the love in your heart?

It is everyday arrogance.

What is everyday arrogance? It is simple, and so everywhere, all the time, that it is invisible.

You see something. You hear something. And you know what it means. Continue reading “What is the bane of your existence? What kills your joy?”

The path to truth

You_Dont_Know_What_You_Dont_KnowThis article has three parts: truth in science, truth in growth, and truth in hindsight…

There are two ways to “do” science:

  1. you have a theory, and you set out to prove it. You ignore everything that doesn’t prove it, and consider only what does. This is how current science works… especially when the livelihood of the “scientist” comes from a concerned party, like a drug company, or like the government. The eye movement of this type of “scientist” is a narrow cone of vision, glued to what he wants to prove.

The story you so vehemently protect… that you die for…

not-pretty-enough-smallerThe single reason most people don’t want to work with me is this: I will rob them of their sob story.

What’s a sob story?

Well, everybody has one… It was born after an incident in early childhood.

Something happened, and you made a decision about yourself, about the world, about your mother.

Some people have interlocking decisions, making the sob story as strong as a Greek myth. Continue reading “The story you so vehemently protect… that you die for…”

Narrow cone of vision and your health

narrow-cone-vision-health-adviceImagine having to find your way through a maze without seeing past the tiny circle a flashlight can illuminate?

“Luckily” you only have to look at your life. Your health, your money, your love life.

You ARE living your life, a veritable maze, by the light of a flashlight.

You read an article here… yay, I see may way. A sound bite there… yay, I see now… But it is still the tiny flashlight method: you don’t see the big picture, you don’t see your way to the good life.

Seeing the full picture, the big picture capacity, looking with consciousness that can see everything, is like turning the ceiling light on: you’d be seeing a lot more, wouldn’t you? Making less “narrow picture” mistakes…

How to become worth a damn?

how to become worth a damnCan someone who listens to an audio, watches a video, reads a book, or even comes to one of my workshops, change?

Long sentence, eh? The answer to this question is this: it depends.

NO input can cause change by itself. The change comes from trying to apply what you read to yourself. Even if the application is just answering one question that requires you to look.

I am finding, that the program I so love, the 67 steps, is completely and absolutely wasted on you, unless you do the looking it takes to answer the one or two or three questions that come with each session.

Why? Because looking, attempting to answer the question, causes a state change. 1 The state inside which you listen is: I agree, I like it, I knew that, interesting, etc. Narrow cone of vision. Sitting in what you already know… undisturbed, untested. Sitting in who you already know yourself to be… undisturbed, untested.

Attempting to look to answer the question from your own life is where the magic happens. When you have to widen your cone of vision to include what you never look at.

It is happening to me in spades. I am at segment 19… Continue reading “How to become worth a damn?”

You are run by a machine. The machine is put together of genes, and each gene wants its own survival.

survival of the one that can changeThe title could be said differently as well: You are a survival machine. You are put together for the survival of your genes. (Richard Dawkins: the selfish gene theory). You have hundreds, maybe thousands of genes. Each gene is a code, and the genes are strung together on your DNA. Some genes are recessive, or dormant, but can be turned on by your behavior, by your thinking, or by an energy person, like me. 2

These genes put together, each concerned only about its own survival is your DNA, and we could say that the machine is what we call the ego. Of course it is not a good way to put it, but at least you are cursorily familiar with the phenomenon of ego.

Ego wants to survive the genes.
And it deals with what it needs to deal with to be successful at it.

The mind interferes with the machine, culture interferes with the machine, religion interferes with the machine. All your misery comes from this interference and how you choose to deal with it.

Do you have a keyhole size view of the world?

Do you have a keyhole size view of the world?

chess helps you get more ram for your brainHow many pieces of information can you play with in your brain? Do you have a keyhole view of the world?

What is real thinking, as opposed to having thoughts, or recalling what someone said someplace?

I have been pondering.

My method for pondering is this: I play Freecell, so I am tied to my computer, so I must be sitting. My hands are busy, my eyes are busy, even my mind is busy.

The part of me that does thinking, on the other hand, is free. Free to do, what I call thinking or pondering.

I read a lot, and oftentimes I muscletest if it is true, but some things, moral, ethical, real spiritual things I like to see for myself.

Osho says somewhere that the understanding man doesn’t think, because the understanding man sees.

It is easy to see that if the thing to see is outside, you don’t have to think, you see. Red is red, and blue is blue. You see it.

But when the thing is inside, you need to set it up to see. So the understanding man can set up structures in their brain to look at. You need to use your random access memory (RAM), the instant memory function of the brain, to set up what you want to see.

The role of structures in happiness, in achievement, in a life worth living

perfect-geometric-patterns-in-nature-22__880I am about as religious as a teacup… and that is actually one of the freedoms that allow me to experiment, to allow myself to be guided through torturous paths, to use my life to discover law-like phenomena, to read everything and the opposite, to allow myself to go from despair to elation and back…

Life, the Universe is largely unknowable. You can, by the way, call it “god” if you wish… and please do that if that will allow you to follow this discussion.

This article will be a little bit hodge-podge, given that I have to gather a lot of disparate stuff to make sense in the end. So bear with me.

Your ability to bear with me will be consistent with the number of capacities you have active on your DNA… If you, like most of humanity, have seven capacities active: you’ll have to hang in there, and maybe read it a few times.

OK, let’s begin:
