If you can’t move from A to B… The Too Direct Approach To Anything

hammer_break1I just finished watching a long (2 and a half hour long!) webinar, and one of the phrases that I want to borrow from there, is this: it’s not you, it’s your approach that makes you get less out of life than you could.

One of these approaches I see often that rob you of success is:

The Too Direct Approach To Things

One of the mistakes, one of the false beliefs, one of the erroneous ideas your paradigm gives you is to attempt to get from point A to point B through the straight, direct route.

But… No Problem Can Be Solved From The Same Level Of Consciousness That Created It 1

If you feel you are losing yourself, maybe lost yourself…

losingYourself

If you feel you are losing yourself, maybe lost yourself… How losing yourself happens, and how you can live a life where you never lose yourself?

This past week I had a lot of interactions: a lot more than usual.

I had calls, where the other person, from time to time, got hold of the steering wheel… and it felt dangerous for me of losing control or the conversation.

I also had to cancel some utilities and restart them with a different provider.

The bad cell phone connection, the voice mail systems, the operators that talk without listening, like a machine, the hold-music… all factors that could be causing me to lose myself.

Loud TV, a typical marketeer loud forceful audio on the computer, peak traffic, noises, bumping into carts in the grocery store… all tearing at you, wanting attention.

Why Dr. Wallach doesn’t have a wikipedia page?

Close up on DNA chain with a sinister mutationWhy Dr. Wallach doesn’t have a wikipedia page? Why he didn’t win a Nobel Prize, in spite of Nobel Prize worthy discovery?

All evolution is caused by something or someone upsetting the apple cart.

The apple cart with its shiny apples displayed like a pyramid is a good analogy for the workability of the state that needs to be upset for something new, for something higher, for something organized on a higher level of knowledge, on a higher level of evolution, on a higher level of consciousness could emerge.

Eventually that higher level will become the status quo: the apple cart.

Another way to illustrate the level of your consciousness

cutting with dinner knifeWhen you managed to open yourself up to the guidance of consciousness, the guidance is pouring abundantly.

Before, it is a trickle of guidance here, and trickle of guidance there.

In the previous article I told you what I did to get guidance from consciousness in the area of defining the five stages of consciousness, through my methodology can take you through… all the way to the top.

I wrote the article, and then I went to cook some lunch for myself.

As I was slicing onions, then cubing turkey, I saw another way to illustrate the levels of consciousness.

The sharper the knife the less pressure you need… the duller the knife the blunter the cut, the less precise, and the more force you need.

Same is the situation with consciousness.

A breakthrough in raising my level of consciousness

A breakthrough in raising my level of consciousness

climbing-the-tree-of-life-raising-consciousnessI just had a breakthrough…

I have been teaching you how to raise your consciousness, your level of consciousness, by allowing something or someone guide you to look at things beyond where you always look, and differently than you have always looked.

I consider myself always a student as well… so I have been listening to myself, and following my own teaching.

But the results, in the area of growing visibility, increasing my following, increasing my income, have been stagnant… I could not see anything new…

Until this morning. Continue reading “A breakthrough in raising my level of consciousness”

Your weakness is around what your life can turn around

Your weakness is around what your life can turn around

turn disadvantage into an advantage

Turning disadvantage into an advantage…

Another book written by Malcolm Gladwell deals with the deficit, the weakness of a person, that becomes the catalyst for them to become the best.

Of course, this is not automatic.

99% of dyslexics can’t read or write well, and are left behind in society.

But a disproportionately large percentage of exceptionally successful people are dyslexic.

99% of dyslexics are kinesthetic learners, perceive the world kinestheticly. It is another hindrance, being kinesthetic: relating to the world, information, through the body.

Your life is a mess. can you clean it up with consciousness?

challengedI was talking about the wrong turns one makes in life; you make them several times a day…

To the mind, choosing between two options, and getting yourself into a horrible dead end is no big deal. Easy as pie…

Getting your out of it: for the mind it is impossible.

Let me say that again: for the mind, getting itself out of the mess it got you into, is impossible. Not hard… impossible.

So I have been testing Consciousness in the same arena.

Never really say no? What does it do to you and your life?

Never really say no? What does it do to you and your life?
Master-the-art-of-saying-no-so-you-can-say-yes-to-what-matters-most-e1357110457770You can’t say yes until you said no.

Saying no feels rude. Any type of no. Setting your boundaries, hanging up the phone, saying you are busy…

Even when no one knows you have a hard time saying no.

How do I know? I just observed myself.

The price of being polite, agreeable, and accommodating

I was on a webinar where they showed how to use a graphics software and it was really good and really enjoyable. Then they started to pitch a bonus… I don’t care about the offer. Continue reading “Never really say no? What does it do to you and your life?”

Innovation vs fixing… how can you have any circumstance and still be happy?

cartoon_personal_innovation

Innovate yourself out of the problem

If you are here, reading this blog, you have a complaint about life… something you’d like to fix. Even if you are pretending that you are “just” curious… all humans living on Planet Earth have something they don’t like and they’d like to fix it.

That is the first inclination of everyone. You have an itch: scratch it. Have a problem? Find a solution.

Solution is a code word for fixing.

But we all face a problem, like the dog who scratched his skin so now it is raw and is going to get infected.

The solution is the next problem, usually bigger than the original problem.

So what can you do?

If Tai Lopez is any indication, Sir Richard Branson said: “Innovate yourself out of the problem”.

Behavioral strategies vs. beingness strategies

Behavioral strategies vs. beingness strategies

dying to be lovedWe all want to be loved. It’s hardwired, because being loved is the surest way to be fed, as a child, get sex as an adult, be promoted or helped as an adult.

Its purpose is survival.

The organism wants to survive, desperately.

We don’t know what that love is, but we want it. And some of us want to earn it. Continue reading “Behavioral strategies vs. beingness strategies”
