What is the most important thing in life?

What is the most important thing in life?

The culture we live in, the mind-meme that is the dominant influencer of our emotions, our actions, our decisions in life says: the most important thing in life is fitting in, taking care of your loved ones, to be loved, to belong.

Sounds so nice, doesn’t it? Sounds like that is what will cause our species to survive, that is what is going to cause us to be happy.

Let’s examine if it, in fact, contributes to happiness, and to the survival of the species… i.e. if it contributes to personal growth, personal evolution, because any species that its members don’t grow or can’t grow is declining and dying.

I won’t do anything for money I wouldn’t do for free

work-for-moneyI promised to you to report whether the method I recommended worked or not.

The method: tell the story in a way that you completely own what belongs to you, your actions, your reactions, your attitude, your thoughts, your emotions, your expectations, your intentions, etc. And keep telling the story until all the blame disappears.

Now, just by retelling the story to you, I managed to disappear the blame. (Of course I have been practicing taking responsibility for what I own, what belongs to me, for decades! You may not get such fast result!) I started to feel energized, happy, bright, and ambitious again. I started to ask questions and get answers.

Tiptoeing… treading lightly vs not rocking the boat or making waves

1790I am a wave makerI am a boat-rocker, a wave maker… I get banged up a lot, and I don’t even notice it. It is my nature to be bold and speak openly what I see is amiss.

And in other situations I tiptoe… I tread lightly… quite out of character, wouldn’t you say?

I watch you tiptoe in situations when I speak and speak when I tiptoe… i.e. do the opposite of what I do and what I recommend that you do.

Waiting to be made happy, successful, rich, spiritual, knowledgable

srivi

  1. I had a conversation with a friend. I shared with him that I am selling off my books and DVD’s on Amazon.com.

He has been at my place, and he was really interested. My place is crowded because I pretty much never throw anything away.

He asked me: what would it be like if you got home one day, and all the stuff you don’t really need would be gone? Picked up and gone.

I told him, that I had done that with my clothes, and I am still grieving from it.

I like the process of choosing to sell something, or give it away, one by one. It is a growing experience for me, it is a grieving, a separation, I grief the amount of work that went into the purchase (I work for my money… surprise!) and the mistake I made, or the enjoyment I got out of the stuff.

How to find your direction?

the calling

Summary: One of the most frequent questions people ask or think is: what is my soul’s purpose? what am I supposed to do with my life? How to live on purpose to get fulfillment, and a sense of life well lived? This article contributes the purpose part…

If you want to do this exercise correctly, you need a distance to see the forest for the trees. With distance comes “Witness” and you begin to see, without the constant chatter of the Mind, that tries to tell you what you should see to look good, to be good, to be socially acceptable, to conform to your own expectations of what’s good… all misleading. Your job is to see what is so, not what should be so.

With distance you see even the time-line. Tendencies, trends, inclinations. You can see what was important and what wasn’t. 1

Good, noble, high-minded… are they the source of high vibration or moronic views?

high mindedWhenever you feel that you are on the side of good, the side of noble, the likelihood that you are looking at the world through a narrow cone of vision, and therefore what you say is moronic, is near 100%.

Why is that? Because you are hearing everything through a socially defined, religious mostly, narrow opening in the mind… You’ll miss most of what is being said, and it doesn’t even occur to you… you are oblivious to that.

You won’t make any effort to look at how you are looking, look at the angle of the cone you are looking at, look at the filter… ask additional questions… no, you won’t do that.

Why? Because your mind says that you got the whole issue handled.

Cone Of Vision, Attitude, Responsibility, And Choice

Cone Of Vision, Attitude, Responsibility, And Choice

shedding a layer of stuckednessWhat is transformation? There are many ways to say what it is, for the purposes of this article we’ll say: transformation is catching YOURSELF stuck in a state that is unproductive and self-righteous.

For a transformational teacher every moment looks like an opportunity to cause your transformation: you are always in layers upon layers of stuck states, even when you feel successful, and especially when you feel comfortable.

So, what gives a stuck state away as a stuck state? Stuck state, instead of wrong, right, etc…

Money, sex, food, position… the ultimate distractions… but so is bragging about your achievements!

jumping

Summery: Money, sex, food, position… the ultimate distractions… And, judging from readers emails: anything that can take our minds off life, reality… entertainment, drugs, will get our attention, our power, our money… our lives.

Kabbalah says that we all have an aspect that can be called The Opponent. It is like the Devil in you… the opposite of The Spirit, The Soul, or whatever you want to call it. It is the aspect of you that wants to fail you, and it works 24/7.

I woke up to a beautiful day this morning. It was barely day yet, but the sky was a beautiful shade of parisian blue, the snow covered huge tree in front of the house glistened a golden brown. What a beautiful day, how nice warm the bed is, how beautiful life is… I snuggled in deeper and fell asleep again.

Then I had a dream, a vivid dream.

Getting to Abundance one Step At A Time – Practicing The Feeling Of Freedom And Power Through Contributing To It

Churches, communities, etc. ask you to contribute. And you comply: you volunteer, you give away your old winter coat, you give food, or money.

But as in everything, context is decisive.

What’s the context in their request? That you support the less fortunate. There is morality: you can afford and therefore you should, and there is shaming… you don’t eat your food and little kids starve in Africa, or “be generous and earn the Kingdom of Heaven” b.s.

All of these make you a wretch. And not just you, anyone. Why? Because context is decisive.

Nature, trees, animals, do not willingly give what they have, unless they have a selfish reason for it. Not a feeling, but a direct benefit. And nature is fine, thank you, and no one suffers. No morality, no shoulds, just good old selfishness. Surprised? Good.

Love was invented by religion to make you miserable

Love was invented by religion to make you miserable

is true love possible?I am sitting at my desk. Trying to work. Waves of despair, waves of grief, waves of depression wash over me.

None of it is mine.

It’s two days before Christmas, and peak time for depression, and suicides is coming.

Why are people so low around Christmas, when the holiday is supposedly about love?

Because love is a human invention.

I am no historian, but my hunch is that before religion, and without religion there would be no such “thing” as love.
