Courage is a capacity to call on when you notice fear…

Courage is a capacity to call on when you notice fear…

courage-symbolCourage… courage is the ability to do something that frightens you. Look at the symbol: it seems to walk to the right… but look at another thing: it is sturdy. It is hard to remove it from upright… It stands on two sturdy legs… stocky… Without the ability to stay standing, no courage will be enough. You need to use it… do you use it? Or do you run? Hide? Play poop hiding in the tall grass?

Courage is a DNA capacity. It needs to be turned on for you to have it…. When you need it it is available.

But you are the boss… you can use it, and continue in the face of fear, or you can shrink, run, hide… the things people do to evade a threat.

Some fear is a wake up call… you better run. Like if you are on the train tracks and a train is coming. Get out of the way.

Other fears are an indicator that you are walking on uncharted territory, and you need to pay attention.

And yet other fears are ego fears… they come because you are rocking the boat.

This is the kind of fear you’ll experience when you attempt to grow.

It’s the what-if fear. What if I am not going to like it? What if people won’t like me? What if I’ll be alone?

The capacity “being deserving” has put one of the participant into that fear just now.

In search of the linchpin DNA capacity that is…

do-you-see-that-i-am-brokenIn search of the linchpin DNA capacity that is blocking your evolution

In this article I will talk about DNA capacities activation.

Let’s talk about the failures, people where in spite of my effort, the capacities did not activate…

Let me start with the accusations a commenter threw at me/us: that the positive results may be due to time spent with me, instead of DNA capacities getting active in you.

I would ask the same question, and have.

Some results are definitely placebo.

The levels of consciousness and the stumbling blocks between them…

livinr-in-a-boxI hope you can see my methodology:

The truth, the big picture, and all the details are in the hidden dimension of the universe. And to unfold any of it, work is needed. Persistent poking of the box.

Some cultures are box-pokers, and others are complacent, satisfied with the size of their jail cell.

I come from a box-poker culture.

Individuals, of course, differ in their level of desire to go beyond the walls… But the average, the culture, is either box poker or not… degrees again… not black and white.

Whether a culture is box poker depends on how harsh survival conditions reign for the culture.

Mongols were box-pokers. Chinese were not. Jews are box-pokers, Brits are not.

Box-poking could be seen as change.

Does it ever happen to you that you talk and no one responds?

no one hears me speakYou talk about something miraculous, that could make all the difference for people… you speak, they listen… and nothing.
You say something profound… no echo. You ask for something, and people’s eyes are glazed over.

Well, this is a regular occurrence in my life… it’s been happening as far as I can remember. And it has happened in every language… not just in English.

I used to suffer about it. I used to blame everyone, call them stupid, etc.

There was a point, some 30 years ago, when it first occurred to me that maybe it is my job to speak in a way that people can understand, it is not their job to change how they speak.

It was jarring. I resented it for a long time.

And in the past 30 years, I have gotten a little bit better at speaking to how people think… a little bit better.

What story does your email address tell about you?

keep calm and om... buddha on t-shirtI just sent out a bunch of emails to people that I wasn’t sure wanted to get my emails.I wanted the ones that didn’t, to unsubscribe. Why? Because I don’t like to anger people… and people anger really easily…

The people on this list asked to learn from me. Learn to connect to Source, learn to slip out of the mind, really important stuff.

Many unsubscribed. My hunch: many of them didn’t even open my email.

I removed the ones that unsubscribed, one by one… Time consuming, but it was worth it.

I gleaned an insight that I want to share with you:

90% of those that unsubscribed had an email address that betrayed their affiliation, their self-image, or their aspirations.

The anatomy of missing the mark aka sinning

The anatomy of missing the mark aka sinning

Target-371x250

    1. Have you been wondering why public services and big companies employ semi-morons for customer service? I am wondering. I think to mention this, given how many times it has happened in the past week.

Not every customer service person acts stupid, only most of them.

So what is their stupidity about? They only hear what they know. The filter of their mind screens out everything that is not the three-four basic issues: refund request, payment plan request, return request… you know the kind most people will have.

For every issue outside of the ones that the solution is standardized, the customer rep can’t hear…

The mind did not allow the person to interact with reality, only with what’s in the mind.

Do beliefs hold you back? Is self-image a belief?

Do beliefs hold you back? Is self-image a belief?
what-others-say won't effect your self-imageLife is a between you and you deal

The only thing that effects your quality of life is your own experience of yourself. Not your opinion of yourself. Instead your EXPERIENCE of yourself. Your actions come from that self-experience, aka self-image.

Others’ reaction to you or your actions merely brings that area into focus… your experience of yourself was already there.

Admonishment and your experience of yourself. Praise and your experience of yourself

More about changing… but not the mind

seeing the world and yourself differentlyYesterday’s article said that it’s futile to try to change the words, try to change the thought to change you or your life.

And yet, some of the time those programs work. Often? Not at all.

So why do they work, how do they work?

When I look at the examples where something shifted like in my first encounter with hypnosis, I see that the behavior changed. Dramatically.

Were the words that changed? No. Something much deeper. If I want to go out on a limb, I could say that the picture of myself changed.

How to make a commitment you’ll keep

making a commitment and keeping itI have had problems with my hip for the past 16 years. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on chiropractors, and the hip just got worse and worse.

This year I had a recurring flash of desire of being a person who travels from country to country, while doing the work I am doing now.

The only thing standing in my way is the pain to walk, or even stand longer than a minute.

I have given up public speaking because of it. I have given up going out, because I limp. And because it hurts.

The recurring flashes of desire to become mobile again started a process of looking for a solution, if there is a solution.

I wrote to a client: Grow Some Balls! Man up!

I wrote to a client: Grow Some Balls! Man up!

feminine skills for menIt’s Sunday, and as usual, I had a profound conversation with my friend. We missed one Sunday in this past eight years, I think.

I had more insights than in a normal month… and here are a few:

1. We are bred to become soft.

The question you’d ask if you wanted to know if they succeeded with you is this: Can you take it? Can you take hard, long, exhausting, painful, cruel, murderous.

If the answer is no, or “yes, but I don’t want to” then they succeeded.

When things don’t go your way, when things are not fast enough for your taste, when someone is not kind and encouraging, when something doesn’t taste, sound, feel good the first time, when something takes consistency and consistent effort to reach… then you’ll quit.
