Why do we have an ego? how can we make it useful?

Why do we have an ego? how can we make it useful?

Why do we have an ego, and how can we make it really useful? You don’t have any part that is not useful!

I just had a ‘conversation’ with a student, where I suggested that she uses ego to support her growth.

From her answers it has become clear that ‘using ego’ is not a commonplace conversation, and that it needs instruction.

Culture condemns ego… as if it were a bad thing.

So let’s see what ego is, and what it isn’t.

Ego is a lot like a kitchen knife: you can use it for good, for useful, or for harm… kill with it. You can also use it to clean it under your nails… somewhat useful, but not the right tool… Continue reading “Why do we have an ego? how can we make it useful?”

How does The Sight capacity raise your emotional IQ?

How does The Sight capacity raise your emotional IQ?

One of my principles is from the TV ad for the HairClub for Men.

The man talking says, I paraphrase: I so much liked the company that I bought it. I am not only the owner, I am also a client.

I am also not just the teacher but also the student. Not just the owner but also a client.

And, of course, when you are a student, as your status, and use what you are given, recently The Sight, and the Whole Brain Method, you get insights, results, ideas that stun you… Well, they stunned me.

There is a lot of talk about emotional intelligence, the keyword and some images bring a lot of people to my site. They all leave without ever buying anything, ever really learning anything. Continue reading “How does The Sight capacity raise your emotional IQ?”

What is word in ‘my word is my bond’ statement?

What is word in ‘my word is my bond’ statement?

Integrity, the bottom line, is your word. WORD.

What constitutes your word, you should ask… Why? Because if you are like most people, you babble all day, inside and outside.

Homo Sapiens lives through babbling.

The evolutionary state humans are at is Homo Sapiens. NOT Human Being. Human Being lives through BEING… not available on the level of Homo Sapiens.

So our most important aspect, babbling, is our Achilles Heel… and that we say more, much more than we are willing to commit to. Continue reading “What is word in ‘my word is my bond’ statement?”

Unless you can repeat the words, you didn’t listen

Unless you can repeat the words, you didn’t listen
Unless you can repeat the words, you didn’t get it, you didn’t learn it, it is not useful…

This is a half truth. I do have a client who has trained her brain to hear but she herself doesn’t hear what you said, and yet she can parrot back what you what you said.

If you never learn… then most likely you are a SKIMMER

If you are a skimmer, you neither hear nor can repeat what was said.

Most people read, listen, watch, and don’t, can’t recall names, places, and the exact words in a book, and audio or a video. Continue reading “Unless you can repeat the words, you didn’t listen”

Win the war not the battles… or where are you looking?

Win the war not the battles… or where are you looking?
A minor miracle happened yesterday morning…

I found that one of my students who had willfully turned off The Sight capacity, unexpectedly allowed it to stay on. Or maybe it was a major miracle… we shall see. Continue reading “Win the war not the battles… or where are you looking?”

Whole and complete… and neediness. Completion

Whole and complete… and neediness. Completion

I just had an insight. I saw something I had never seen, even though it was right in front of my eyes.

The source of neediness.

First let’s look at what is a need and what is not…

We need food and shelter and clothes to cover our need. We may need a community, and air and water. Not much more.

Margoczi says we also need to fulfill our own expectations of ourselves and other people’s expectations of us… Maybe. I am not sure. Maybe to the extent that we can carry our own weight… but not more.

But there are certain things we, as children, thought we should have gotten, and we didn’t, and now we pursue it, relentlessly, at our own detriment.

What kind of things? Continue reading “Whole and complete… and neediness. Completion”

Are you astute? Do you think I am saying something bad?

Are you astute? Do you think I am saying something bad?

Astuteness is being able to identify what’s in front of you, what’s happening, what might be the issue, the problem, and match solutions with problems successfully.

It seems that one of elements, or sub-capacities of astuteness is missing for nearly every person… and this capacity is easier to turn on by asking a simple question… while the whole sink and caboodle of astuteness comes to bear only AFTER you go through the first fundamental step.

This step is being able to separate, to tell apart what is relevant and what isn’t.

When you have a capacity open, you suspect that everyone has it open and functional, and fall flat on your face when it turns out that people don’t have it, can’t see it, and it isn’t missing for them that it’s missing for them.

This is what happened with this capacity. Continue reading “Are you astute? Do you think I am saying something bad?”

It is not the smartest, it is not the strongest that make it

It is not the smartest, it is not the strongest that make it

Whether Darwin said that anything like that, or he didn’t… doesn’t concern me. The principle is true, whether a famous person said it or not.

In the evolutionary sense, it is not the most intellectual of the species that survives; it is not the strongest that survives; but the species that survives is the one that is able best to adapt and adjust to the changing environment in which it finds itself. Fighting your demons, expecting to win one day

Fighting your demons, expecting to win one day

You and I spend most of our lives trying to fix something that never happened. Not only that it wasn’t wrong… but it never actually happened. Something that was never factually true. Even though you keep telling the story as if it were true. And you don’t know that you are lying.

Some people call these demons… even though there are no demons… but nevertheless, using the expression: fighting your demons is very accurate, if you don’t believe that demons are entities. There are no entities in the visible or invisible Universe.

And yet we are fighting… I call it an itch… a compulsion… something that makes you weird.

The ITCH that tells you that unless you get what you say you didn’t get in that story, at whatever price, even extorting it, you cannot be OK. Continue reading “Fighting your demons, expecting to win one day”

Are you the bowler or the bowling ball? in the hands of…

Are you the bowler or the bowling ball? in the hands of…

Are you the bowler or the bowling ball? A bowling ball in the hands of your pancreas and your thyroid…

One of the enemies you need to work against, and I mean WORK against, is the impression other people give you, that if you can see it, you can do it.

That if you see a result, you can have it.

It seems to be sold and bought wholesale by nearly everyone, and buying that, of course, reduces you to a thing that engages in wishful thinking, but does no productive work.

It is so seductive to think that forcing yourself to do work belongs to lesser people. That to actually learn how to climb the mountain, get the right gear, get the right guidance is something you’ll never have to do… because you are special, you are better.

And, obviously, we are not only talking about climbing a mountain, we are talking about things you want to, you could achieve, but you don’t, in any area of life. Continue reading “Are you the bowler or the bowling ball? in the hands of…”
