What is Worse Than Procrastinating? Want to know?

What is Worse Than Procrastinating? Want to know?
selling your dreams for penniesExchanging the dollars for pennies…

This is a second article about procrastination and it deals with an aspect of not doing what you said you would do. This is something that needs to be talked about:

choosing something easy to do instead. Continue reading “What is Worse Than Procrastinating? Want to know?”

If you live like you have to feel different to do different, you are screwed. Guaranteed

What keeps you stuck

I am starting see that what keeps you stuck is that you identify yourself with your thoughts or your feelings, or both.

Bad news: Thoughts and feelings are reactionary: Without a circumstance changing, neither of them will change, and life will continue to go downhill.

Your thoughts and feelings can only change when something else changes. Why? Because thoughts and feelings are like a thermometer. They are a reaction to something else… Thermomenter reacts to the temperature. Feelings and thoughts react to some other circumstance.

Unless somne circumstance changes, nothing will change.

Your dominant belief gone: It is actions that change your life, but what is there to do?

not thoughts, actionsNote: In this article I will use action and behavior interchangeably…

If you have ever attended a course on making money, or starting a business, you will recall the leader’s frantic call for “massive action.” Then they achieve a whopping 1% actually doing it.

Why is this call frantic? Why does it have to be said? And why does it fail?

Because people have a life already, perfectly and totally defined by their current actions.

Actions come from a place that is unfamiliar or unknown to most people. Most of the actions are habitual, ineffective, and there is no room for new actions, or the new, prescribed actions directly conflict with the habitual actions.

Now that your dominant belief is removed… Now what? What should you expect?

inconvenient-truthOK, let’s look first what you have been expecting? Because this dominant belief issue has been around for quite a while, and you probably blamed your lack of happiness, success, love, etc. on this dominant belief. You’ve wanted it for so long… your life is going to change… so, how did you expect your life to change? Ponder that a little bit, the article will be more valuable if you know what you have been expecting. OK?

Dominant beliefs? Will your thoughts change after I pull the twist that altered your dominant being?

trees, like society, leaning in one directionDominant thoughts? or Dominant being?

What you think has little to do with your actions.

The connection between speaking and action needs to be established, good example, when you read the instructions. It is not obvious how to do what the words say, and it is not obvious that understanding can lead you to that action. Seeing an action allows you to copy it: action to action: no translator is needed. But words to action… lots can be lost in the translation.

That is the biggest puzzlement of teachers… and very few are able to create a bridge between words and actions successfully.

So when teachers, wannabe teachers teach that you should change your thoughts, they are screwing with you. They cater to your mind, but only the mind will be happy if you follow the teaching. Not you. 1

How you read is how you live… or are you doing the work that you love?

how you read is how you liveI love books that start slow, that allow me to be in the midst of things, give me insight into the character, the past of the character… simply said: that gives me a rounded picture without actually reducing the observations to assessment. The book allows me to make my own judgments, so it’s active reading: the story is co-created between the author and myself.

I even watch television that way… Netflix television, where I can stop the screen and reflect, sometimes for 10-15 minutes before I turn the movie or episode back on.

Now, contrast that with how you read.

How would you know if you are a sissy? And I don’t mean gay…

sissy humanityThis is a March 2017 update… Since I wrote this article, I have been able to measure your sissiness score… I call it the TLB Score (Twitchy Little Bastard score)… to what degree you are able to evolve as a human. Personally. You. Able and willing.

Want to know your score? Your life actually shows you… but if you think it’s the circumstances, or not being smart enough… you may want to find out what about you that doesn’t allow you to grow, to create a life worth living.

Get your TLB score… I measure it personally… it is not a questionnaire… How can I measure it? I am a True Empath… I can measure accurately a lot of invisible things about you…

OK… here is the original article.

Humanity is declining… Are you part of the problem, or part of the solution?

I read a paragraph in an article, online, I can’t seem to find the article any more.

The article says that the United States became a world leader because of its attitude of innovation, and hard work, but today: U.S. consumers spend significantly more on potato chips than the U.S. government devotes to energy Research and Development.

Research and Development, innovation, is what makes a country grow, and it needs people who can cause growth. People who can think. Who are willing to think. Who enjoy thinking, getting to be pioneers… work long hours, be uncomfortable… Not for the money, but because they love challenges. 2

What is the opposite of astute?

einstein-astuteAstute is a word that 99% of people don’t know. Or if they know, they think it’s a bad thing. Like shrewd… it is a missing thing… It is not part of the vocabulary of the uneducated, unsophisticated, simple folks who live a pedestrian existence.

Words are great divider of people. If it is beyond you… if it is beyond your comprehension, you probably get found out by now knowing the word.

Now, with that said: astute is a person who can tell things apart, even similar things, with certainty, and ease.

People have certain areas where they are astute.

Myopic? Narrow Minded? Stop on the surface? I need two more comments!

Having a child is like causing your own immortality. Your genes live on in your child, and your ego really wants that child to be the best… better than you.

You want to live through your child, and you want it to be glorious, even if your actual life is… hm… shitty?

The child, by the way, considers this an unfair binding… and resents it, wiggles out of it… the child wants to be free, make her own mistakes… have a life that is hers alone.

That is the norm.

Until you know who you are, you are a boat without a rudder

Until you know who you are, you are a boat without a rudder

who are you not? what are you not?You don’t know who you are. You lie about it, you make up s-h-i-t, but there is not a you that you consistently are.

Landmark Education (and I think other coaches and companies as well) decided that who you are needs to be invented.

But all this invention, all this creation is on the top of an undifferentiated mess of stuff you don’t want to look at. So, whatever people in Landmark Education invent as themselves doesn’t last long, and has to be repeated, ad nauseum. People need to remind themselves… but that is obvious:

If you know who you are, you don’t need to be reminded of it.
