The Matrix… one method of the Matrix is confusion…

The Matrix… one method of the Matrix is confusion…
Just for clarification: the Matrix is the same as the Chicken Coop in the novel, White Tiger…

As a mad scientist, my job is to distinguish the “things” that are in your way of direction, in your way of clarity, and to devise ways for you to go around them or through them. 1

One tool that has proven invaluable is isolation. Isolating what you want to see. Seeing it by itself. So you can see it for what it is, in all its glory…

In nature, to our eyes, things are grouped, things are undifferentiated and solid.

Your language supports that too… everything is the same as everything else, except not always. 2 That is how we see. We don’t see boundaries, we don’t separate out what we want to see, we always see things together. We say: it IS… but there is no “it” and therefore there is no “is”. If we said: It seems that … then we would be closer to reality… but we don’t say that. That would require humility.

Already too busy? Stressed? Always busy? Always in a hurry? Trying to start a new project?

Stressed? Always busy? Always in a hurry?

These are all signs of you living on the competitive plane, the horizontal, the Valley of the Shadow of Death.

I have a book that I can see from my bed. It is called “The Life You Were Born To Live”

The title immediately creates desire and hurry

But the “You Were Born To Live” creates calmness and a quiet awareness. No hurry. No place to go. Just live.

Two words changed. Continue reading “Already too busy? Stressed? Always busy? Always in a hurry? Trying to start a new project?”

Ambition versus Desire… Why ambition has become a dirty word, and who does it serve?

I spent yesterday reading the novel the 1997 Dutch film (Character) was based upon. Of course they changed a few things, and the film left me in deep quandary. The title didn’t make sense. The whole dynamic didn’t make sense. So I read the book.

Most movies’ ending is clear… this is probably only the second movie that left me with questions: WTF just happened? The other movie is the 2002 Chinese movie “Together”.

Anyway, I read the Character book. It was written in 1938.

I did learn what the title was about. And I learned a lot more.

This article is not about the movie, this article is about what makes a man a Man. Continue reading “Ambition versus Desire… Why ambition has become a dirty word, and who does it serve?”

Mindfulness? No. Meditation? No. Meditative living? Yes

It was my shopping day yesterday…

Through bad design, I have my webinars on the same day as my shopping day.

And yesterday I felt creamed by the experience.

I dragged myself through, slept like a baby, but I am still exhausted today.

The difference for me between tired and exhausted, is my breathing. If my chest is not willing to expand, I call that exhaustion…

Anyway, I went to lie down about an hour ago, and opened a new book, 10-minute mindfulness, or something like that… on my kindle.

Five minutes into it I suddenly I realized what happened, what I didn’t do…

OK, first I am going to tell you what others teach you to do to be more present in life and less swept up in the drama of the day.

Then I will tell you what works… what I normally do, and what I didn’t do yesterday. OK? Continue reading “Mindfulness? No. Meditation? No. Meditative living? Yes”

Let’s talk about the dividing point between low vibration and high vibration… 200

Let’s talk about the dividing point between low vibration and high vibration… 200

What are the first signs that your vibration number went up?

The average vibration of all people on the planet is 130. That is a level where people are low of energy, so low that even anger, or saying no takes effort.

Recently I witnessed as two of my students raised their vibration from 130 to 200 and then fell back the next week.

I don’t remember what it was like for me… because at the time I didn’t know i could measure my own vibration.

But I do remember that there was a markedly different way I saw the world.

What’s your mission in life? YOUR mission… not what others want your mission to be!

What’s your mission in life? YOUR mission… not what others want your mission to be!

What’s your mission in life? Everyone and their brother is asking this question…

The question indicates that you should have a mission… You should have a purpose… or else…

But why is that? Are people misleading you or is it true that if you have a mission, if you have a purpose then life is better? Let’s do some looking together, ok? 3

Some people also tell you to follow your passion. Or they tell you to find your purpose.

Both of those feel too big and both say, find… intimating that there is a passion, a purpose with your name on it. Pre-ordained, given to you by god, or by your birth date… or maybe your soul correction?

But if you have passions, you know that your passions may change over time.

FOUR ADDICTIONS or why people whose job is to help you, can’t and won’t

FOUR ADDICTIONS or why people whose job is to help you, can’t and won’t

Here is a quote from Rob Brezsny’s weekly newsletter to illustrate that “For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong”.

Answers that sound like solutions… but aren’t… they just hide the problem deeper… so we get further away from the truth.

Our ability to pursue our dreams can be inhibited by four addictions:

1. an addiction to what other people think of us;
2. an addiction to creating melodrama in a misguided quest for excitement;
3. an addiction to believing we’re imprisoned by what happened in the past;
4. an addiction to negative thoughts that fill us with anxiety.
(Thanks to success coach Tom Ferry for these ideas.)

The good news is that it is your birthright to beat all four of those addictions. The work won’t come fast or early, and it may never be perfect. But it’s quite possible

The above is an example of how coaches teach us. It’s all surface. Simple, easy, and not true. 99% of what you find in books on the internet, in articles, is simple, easy, and not true.

Explanations exist; they have existed for all time; there is always a well-known solution to every human problem — neat, plausible, and wrong. H.L. Mencken

Talking about freedom doesn’t mean you want freedom

Talking about freedom doesn’t mean you want freedom

getting a firm knowledge foundationPeople go on talking about freedom, but they don’t want freedom, they want irresponsibility

I have spoken about the holes in your education in other articles. I have also spoken about the holes in your health.

Both cause you to cope with life poorly, to have less and less freedom in life.

And interestingly, both came from the desire to have more freedom, aka liberty, and to give our offspring more freedom aka liberty than we had ourselves.

The problem can be summed up in a word: choice.

We think that the more choice we have the freer we are. Continue reading “Talking about freedom doesn’t mean you want freedom”

The size of your life is an indicator.. or what?

The size of your life is an indicator.. or what?
The size of your life is an indicator of the size of your possible happiness. What is the size of your life?

In the Playground, people do the work in pairs… we call these Partner Calls.

A partner call needs to be about a problem that came up in an incident. It is less talking than looking.

The person who talks, while the other listens, looks at the incident and attempts to take it through a set of looking points… we call that a script. Continue reading “The size of your life is an indicator.. or what?”

An easy way to get to the big picture so that…

An easy way to get to the big picture so that…

the-meaning-of-your-lifeAn easy way to get to the big picture that can make your life worth living, regardless of the circumstances

Gurus teach to look at life this way… but obviously even they don’t quite get it… The order of things is this: Being creates the kind and type of doing and the doing creates the having… If this didn’t make any sense, you are not alone… billions are in the same place of WTF does that mean?!

be – do – have

But getting it would make all the difference for you: suddenly finding constructive actions, actions that actually lead to what you want… And between you and me, that is not a small thing. I get lots of requests to muscletest for people if the actions they decided lead to self-growth, a better future, or not.

So, it is obviously not easy to see.

As any living thing, your first and main concern is you. What you have, how you feel, how safe you are, how happy you are.

Most people get stuck there: it is a “level of consciousness” thing… that is the level of consciousness where most people live. Really, 99.99% of humanity.
