No energy? Likely you are Twitchy Little Bastard… A Marshmallow eater…

(or how to increase your Twitchy Little Bastard score)

This morning I am running on fumes…

TLB – Twitchy Little Bastard; a person who is too anxious for results. Also a person who has no ability to control his urges… like the urge to fix what they see as wrong. Continue reading “No energy? Likely you are Twitchy Little Bastard”

How Visualization Probably Won’t Help you

How Visualization Probably Won’t Help you

visualizationVisualization is a tool to accomplish what you want, but it can also be the tool to diagnose what you are not resonating with. Or a tool to get trapped in the desire trap.

The ultimate clue as to what you can have and hold onto, is to what degree you can visualize, what detail, what variety of images you can have in your “movie”.

This is what vision boards and vision movies use.

As with any other singular method, the results are a mixed bag: about 6% of the users see their vision materialize, some sees some result, most see no result.

Why is that? why is it that a Frank Kern, millionaire marketer, can envision in one afternoon a whole life, with a lot of details, like the tiles of the bathroom, and a few years later get exactly that, while another person can’t imagine a coherent image, and can’t get results…

You live in a world of your own design

You live in a world of your own design

You-Create-Your-Own-RealityYou live in a world of your own design. And you create the world with your beingness.

We think that beingness is all good… But beingness is neutral. It doesn’t take sides. There is a beingness for everything, including greed, jealousy, and puniness… if that’s a word.

But whatever that beingess is, when you realize it, when you pinpoint it, you’ll immediately see that it actually created your current reality, and if you don’t do something about it… it will create the rest of your life that same…

But as a human you have access to creating any kind of beingness… you have difficulty in holding onto it. But yet, you can start. Any time, any day, any age. And increase your capacity to hold onto the beingness, honor it as yourself.

When will you experience life as good? Worth living?

When will you experience life as good? Worth living?

When you experience life as good, harmonious, nurturing: what is it that makes you experience it like that? What you have? What you do? Who you are with? What you have accomplished?

This is a question I bet you never asked.

You have asked different questions:

What will it take to steer your life to the good life?

What will it take to steer your life to the good life?

I don’t want to change you into my vision of you. Rather, I want to motivate you into becoming the person you are capable of becoming.

– Life Mapping (Bill Cohen)

Display and existence. These are two Landmark Education distinctions.

As I am looking at my students, the biggest missing is not intelligence, not diligence, it is these two distinctions. Continue reading “What will it take to steer your life to the good life?”

Your weirdness factor. How weird are you… or not

Your weirdness factor. How weird are you… or not

Weirdness Factor

One of Tai’s steps talks about the weirdness factor, your weirdness factor.

Only one student whose mother tongue is not English interpreted weirdness correctly.

What the f… right? Compared to what?!

You think that you know English. But your English is a personal English… what you mean is not expressed by the words you use accurately, and what you read is not what the writer of a sentence meant.

So you see, with words being such a flimsy, unreliable vehicle for thinking and communicating, the world cannot be a better place.

The troubles in your life cannot be fixed with the language that created them. 1

Life expectancy and your vibration are connected, but how?

Life expectancy and your vibration are connected, but how?

I don’t know about you, but I have always thought that my food should be my medicine, and my medicine should be my food.

And this is mostly how it was for our ancestors… or more precisely: the more their food provided enough nutrients the more our ancestors thrived.

And the same is true for animals. People who raise animals, or take care of animals for a living, for their livelihood, know this. Continue reading “Life expectancy and your vibration are connected, but how?”

Internal and external barriers to growth, changing, success, the good life

Internal and external barriers to growth, changing, success, the good life
is it worth my time, given what I am up to?Is that a distraction? Does that get me closer to my target?

One of the big issue I see with people is this:

You have big desires… but you don’t consider doing the things you have to do to attain them worth your while.

Catch 22.

Your desire for comfort and doing nothing conflicts with your desire for what you say you desire.

Something has to give.

The cold fireplace syndrome: Is it worth feeding the fire?

The cold fireplace syndrome: Is it worth feeding the fire?

fire-burningIt’s not worth it… you moan…

Is it worth it to invest your energy in something that is uncertain? It’s not worth it, or is it?… It is all about whether it is worth it for YOU or not…

If you are supposed to have it already, then working for it doesn’t look like it’s worth it.

How is living like writing a book? Good writing is re-writing…

How is living like writing a book? Good writing is re-writing…

writers-gif2Let’s observe how you write… and then we’ll see how you live your life.

Most people first-draft-people… they never re-write. Others carefully craft the format, but don’t touch what they said… the content. And then others wait until they think they have something profound to say… and that is rarely.

All good writing is re-writing. Both writing literature and “writing”, crafting your life, your story. 1 If you are not willing to write badly you are not willing to write well either. And if you can’t see that your first draft is bad, you will never look at it again.

In this article I’ll focus on the category who is afraid to take actions that would re-write their life… they stick with the first draft.
