The difference: on the Tree of Knowledge, the Tree of Life?

What is the biggest difference between living on the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life?

Words are not the thing they symbolize. If you write “dog” that is not a dog, that is just ink on paper, or the idea of a dog.

A dog is physical. It had a beginning and an end, a birth and a death, and it even began before it was born.

It is the result of a physical process that takes time, takes ingredients, takes caring, takes doing.

You cannot go from the idea of a dog to dog, or the idea of death to death.

It is easy and fast, lightning fast, to have an idea. And it is easy to think that ideas are the thing they symbolize.

That happiness comes from words, or being comes from words, or health comes from words.

I have been running an experiment on the title of this post. So far it is an utter fiasco… No one wants to read it… even though it’s, maybe, the key to the kindom for you.

All the coaching requests were in sync: all the coaching stuff was about letting go… about making room for the new… the new you claim to want…

Are you a person or are you a role? Are you a person or ego?

No sense of humor? You just answered the question in the title..

What does it mean about you what you know and what you don’t know? or how much you know…

It means nothing about you. And yet we all pretend to know stuff… stuff we don’t know. Stuff we can’t know.

It is, to me, the most counter intuitive behavior, but I must be a freak, because I would never pretend to know something I don’t know.

There must be a mistaken belief that if you know something you are better. Smarter.

This is one of the detrimental results of living on the Tree of Knowledge, where you don’t enjoy life, where you don’t experience fulfillment, love, happiness, because it is impossible to experience on the Tree of Knowledge. What keeps you from what you want? Can you change it?

The world has never been so divided.

The dividing criteria is intellectual and spiritual abilities, the ability to tell truth from falsehood. To interact with reality the way reality is… not how it should be.

The stupid is becoming stupider, and the smart remains the same. Said in another way: the underachiever is stuck there… and more are joining him. ¹

In this article I’ll look what may be a linchpin issue, and how you can start moving from the hopelessly stupid to the smart camp.

When we talk about fields of communication…

When we talk about fields of communication, we actually talk about energy fields.

They look innocent, but they are energy fields… and some things can happen in an energy field, and others can’t.

You have a “homepage”, that, in my experience, is predictable by your soul correction plus your Zodiac sign.

Why? I don’t know. My guess is that those are energy fields too.

What is an energy field? I’ll repeat what I have said three lines above: some things can happen in an energy field, and others can’t.

I know this is way beyond rational, and way beyond what any sane person would be willing to see… but lots of evidence points to the fact that fields are energy fields, and they are obvious from what can and what cannot happen inside them. I am still working on kindness. And will continue until I get good at it.

By the way, this is exactly how I “dealt with” the tens of spiritual capacities in the past 30 plus years: “chew” on one until I got all the juice out of it.

Spiritual capacities are a lot like a language: with each new one a whole new world, a whole new understanding becomes available. A whole new person. A whole new way of looking at the world.

I’ve read somewhere that schizophrenia and speaking several languages are intimately connected: the new language brings about as much change as if you were had grown a new personality… They probably should have written: multiple personality disorder… Disorder smisorder… Bah.

I am speaking about the miraculous switching ability of perspective, of understanding… the capacity underlying kindness. Where at a moment’s notice the “kind” person moves their perspective to include the place from where the other is speaking. Or in the parlance of the Partnership Course, they can change the field inside which to listen.

The hidden spiritual capacity that is underneath all the others… I think.

It’s been coming up with more and more frequency:

We don’t know what it looks like to be good, to be kind, to be independent, to be happy, etc.

I wrote recently about my quest to become a kind person.

I am 70 years old. Why now? why so late in life?

When I look back at my childhood, when I look at my brothers, their wives, I see no kindness. EVER.

I am now able to be kind except right now, today… I am irritated, and out of balance… I don’t want to share the “story”, but please know that there are innate capacities and learned capacities. I will never be as patient as a saint… especially when I am out of balance… Kindness and patience are intimately connected.

Spiritual virtues, like kindness, goodness, love, forgiveness… etc. you only learn when you see it in many situations. We could be simplistic and call it learning by osmosis. Continue reading “The hidden spiritual capacity that is underneath all the others… I think.”

The genius path to become a person with a Self

Being successful as a human

When you look at people, you notice that there are two different ways to be successful:

1. worldly success… and
2. successful as in well rounded, fulfilled, joyful, and loving life.

The two don’t happen in the same person too often.

There are notable exceptions. Einstein was one of the exceptions. ²

Your vibration is a lot more correlated with the human success score than with worldly success score: fame, money, notoriety.

Obviously I train people in human success first, and worldly success second… and I have chosen, for myself, the same.

Why? Because no worldly success compensates for wretchedness.

Let’s talk about balance: The myth, and reality… and Self that is more important than balance

First off: about the Tree of Knowledge.

The purpose of the Tree of Knowledge is to keep you from doing your own assessments, to take ready ideas and swallow them whole. Ultimately the aim of the Tree of Knowledge is to keep you in sheep state.

If you ever visited a mental institution, you have seen the zombie-like patients, that whenever they started to act as people, they were injected with chemicals, to make them comply.

The Tree of Knowledge is the larger than a psychiatric ward solution to the same “problem”. The Tree of Knowledge controls you with words and words that carry emotions.

Why I was miserable for 17 years… I didn’t know until now

As I said in a previous article, I am reading the book, The One Thing.

Most books, just like Tai says, are one-gold-nugget books. Tree of Knowledge. This one is full of gold nuggets. The One Thing book is a Tree of Life book

The nugget I discovered yesterday may be the most important thing I have missed, and I see others miss…

It is and have been in plain sight but at the same time it is invisible, like most new distinctions. Until you see it, you don’t…

The nugget, this new distinction, is the foundation for the Ben Jonson quote from Poor Richard’s Almanac: “He that is taught only by himself has a fool for a master” ³
