A reader asks: Isn’t inventing a being pretending?

A reader asks: Isn’t inventing a being pretending?

pretending-to-be-happy-2Hi Sophie – I need some clarifications ..

Isn’t inventing a being the same as pretending?

Is the goal to have the being be the ‘inventing being’? ..someone who can be any being? i.e caring, happy, courageous etc.

What kind of being do I invent when 99% of the population is there to make me feel bad?

Thanks! Continue reading “A reader asks: Isn’t inventing a being pretending?”

Beingness and being, is there a difference?

Beingness and being, is there a difference?

being free regardless of the circumstancesBeing: The state or quality of being being; existence is a tricky word, in every language I know. We use it as if it were cheap, inconsequential, but that misuse causes mischief.

When you say ‘I am depressed’ instead of ‘I feel depressed’, without knowing that there is a difference, you, unwittingly, practice self-definition.

You can feel a lot of things. Feelings and emotions have a normal tendency, that when not resisted, they move. They change. They morph from one feeling to another.

Develop your Awareness, your conscious awareness

the awareness we are talking about in this article is self-awarenessAwareness 1 , when it is in the context of raising your vibration, is an inner awareness, awareness of what lies below the surface, maybe even several layers deep. But to develop awareness, we need to start real close to the surface, and maybe even outside of it… a little bit. 2

Awareness of your insides is developed through practices in focusing your attention on the details of your emotional responses and your attitudes. You can’t learn anything about yourself, your insides, from others, or from a book: you can only be guided where to look, how to look, but what you will see is what you will see… no telling.

Judgment: What is judgment? what is it really? The whole picture…

Judgment

Update: When we are on a lower level of consciousness, we think it is all about us. What we do, what other people say, our results… everything. So our “self” is always in danger of falling off its pedestal, and we feel that with it we die.

The reason: we can’t tell, we don’t even think, that we and our actions are not the same. We can’t see that we do something, and the results of those actions don’t change who we are… there is no real connection. The results are the results, you are you, no connection. Many people grieve continuously. What do you grieve for? Is it grief or is it depression?

grieving lossBelieve it or not, grieving 3 is ALWAYS for what could have been. For the loss of a future.

Whether it is in a relationship, or adventure, or riches, or living a fulfilled life. Opportunities missed, a life missed.

If feels like an occasional hiccup like desire to weep, hiccup from a deep sorrow base.

What is the vibration of money? of abundance?

What is the vibration of money? of abundance?
what is the vibration of money?People want to know the vibration of money… I guess because ‘gurus’ say: get into the vibration of what you want.

Great sentence, except it doesn’t mean anything… and therefore it is impossible to follow.

But if, for a moment, I didn’t mock it, but started to look what it might mean that could be useful is this: although money doesn’t have vibration, it has some rules it follows, it has some strong likes and dislikes. And it is worth knowing those. Worth knowing if you intend to increase the amount of money that flows through you.

Levels of consciousness, like a staircase, harder on the top

Levels of consciousness, like a staircase, harder on the top

the-spiral-staircase-that-has-age-limits-3If we continue with the analogy of climbing a circular staircase, in each paradigm you can be at the bottom of the steps on the top, or anywhere in between.

Look at the picture on the left: on the bottom there is crowding, competition… towards the top less and less people are on the steps… that is exactly how it is in raising your consciousness… people give up.

Let’s consider that it takes 100 rotations to get to the top of the staircase inside your current paradigm. Wherever you are, you’ll find yourself somewhere on that 1 to 100 scale. Most likely closer to the bottom… Sorry.

Judgment vs observation, surrender vs resistance?

Judgment vs observation, surrender vs resistance?

A bug free mind reader question. How to tell judgment from observation, surrender from resistance?

As I mentioned in a previous article, the Bug Free books** 4 can be your kindergarten, elementary school and maybe even your college… Then you need, if you are ambitious enough, if you have done well enough in those grades, you can start working with me.

Yesterday I had a session with a student, and that really drove it home for me.

Attending a class with me gives you the instant illusion that you have learned something. That you know something.

Rose Colored Glasses, Hope, and other stuff that take you out of the present moment

Hope-2-570x379The purveyors of hope

When “picking” a state of being, an attitude, a mindset, conventional wisdom can be detrimental to our well-being.

Unless you are a prisoner in a concentration camp, and what’s predictable is that you will not make it out alive, hope is a very bad-for-you state to pick. But even there, unless it gives you actions that keep you alive longer, that make you take care of yourself, hope as a being, hopeful is the right word, will be just a feeling… and you know how it is with feelings: they come and go at their own accord: you can’t control feelings. Hope and hopeless are the two sides of the same coin. Being doesn’t have a flip side. Continue reading “Rose Colored Glasses, Hope, and other stuff that take you out of the present moment”
