Context is decisive. 99% of humans can’t get the idea

Everyone says that you create your own reality. They fancy themselves creating wealth, health, a loving partner… out of thin air.

But they don’t get that they have already created their own reality… unconsciously, and now they are just stirring muck… ineffectively. Continue reading “Context is decisive. 99% of humans can’t get the idea”

Stopping something harmful is more potent than…

Stopping something harmful is more potent than starting something useful

I didn’t know what willpower was, I didn’t know I had it until this afternoon.

I was reading an incredibly interesting book, by Ben Settle, and eccentric copywriter and marketer… Continue reading “Stopping something harmful is more potent than…”

Integrity, integration, creating or embracing?

What’s missing for you to escape the human condition of the horizontal plane?

No matter who you are, no matter how high is your vibration, one thing is certain about you: you bring a skewing, slanted, distorting view to life, to every question you ask, to every answer you get.

I just caught myself… and I’ll share it with you… even though it is quite terrifying to get naked with you. Continue reading “Integrity, integration, creating or embracing?”

Stairway to heaven or hot air balloon… both can work. You were thinking of a chair lift, weren’t you?

It is, to me, devastating to hear the “bend” of the world to be “against”… and the complete blank when it comes to “for”. 1

This is nothing new. This is the story of humanity: a richness of distinctions what to hate, what to fight, what to be against… and a poverty of colors, distinctions, actions when that fight succeeds.

No one knows. No one is even looking. No one gets that it is more important than air… Continue reading “Stairway to heaven or hot air balloon… both can work. You were thinking of a chair lift, weren’t you?”

The path to self-love… a totally different take… a valid one.

Some 35 years ago I read Rav Hillel’s few lines, If I am not for myself, who will be for me?

If I am not for me, who will be for me? And when I am for myself alone, what am I? And if not now, then when?

it flew in the face of the culture I was raised in, Socialism… I cried, and started to attempt to integrate it.

It took me 35 years.

It’s the hardest of any journey to self-love, self care.

It was for me, and it may be for you… It is easier when you have a teacher.

The main job of a teacher is to hold the dirt while you are digging for gold. The gold is there, but unless someone is there to hold the dirt, the dirt falls back into the hole and covers the gold.

I just listened to a TED talk, and it lays out an amazing and simple way to take care of yourself…

Holographic reading: the secret of billionaires…

Holographic learning: the only learning that can take you to human being level

So holographic learning is based on a hologram.

A hologram is generated from a pattern on a disk (I think). Even a small fragment of the disk can generate the whole hologram. But more of the disk, and the hologram will be sharper and will have more details. Continue reading “Holographic reading: the secret of billionaires…”

Is there such a thing as perfect integrity?

Can you achieve perfection? Can you always do the right thing? Is there such a thing as perfect integrity? Can you have 100% truth value?

Why are you not able to sustain a new mindset?

Update: if you think you don’t retain or sustain a new mindset, chances are, you never internalized it, so there is nothing to retain or sustain. Same with transformation.

Before we can talk about retaining: first you have to have it… you cannot lose what you never had. Thinking you had it is not the same as having it.

Thinking about flying isn’t… Continue reading “Why are you not able to sustain a new mindset?”

What do you want, really? or asked differently What do you really want?

The answer is in the values you choose to love…

I have been harping on values… and it is as if I were speaking in an auditorium where my voice doesn’t, can’t carry… there is no echo. 1

Nothing and no one indicating that they are hearing me, that they are pondering, that the question is heard and taken on as a quest to answer, to ponder, to be taken with you to sleep, to your meditation, to your walks, so you eventually come up with something you value.

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Community cannot for long feed on itself; it can only flourish with the coming of others from beyond, their unknown and undiscovered brothers.

During times of war, hatred becomes quite respectable even though it has to masquerade often under the guise of patriotism.

– Howard Thurman (1900 – 1981)

There are two kinds of values, temporary/transitory and eternal. Continue reading “What do you want, really? or asked differently What do you really want?”

Why you don’t love yourself

Out of integrity, lying, coveting, envy, vengeance, hate can be compared to indigestion

Lying etc. is like indigestion.

In indigestion you give the body something to eat that the body cannot use as food. Either because it is not really food, or because it is beyond the body’s ability to use it all as food.

The body makes you feel discomfort. Surprisingly this discomfort feels a lot like hunger. Exactly the opposite of what would work… I think it is our interpretation of the signal that is at fault. We seem to interpret everything as a signal to eat, to consume, to get more and more and more. Of everything.

And this is where the similarity shines most.

When you lie, betray, cheat, harm, etc. and you know that you do, you need to pile up the sh*t… you need to lie more, betray more, cheat more, harm more.

All in a misdirected effort to get away with it. Continue reading “Why you don’t love yourself”
