The Wise, the Foolish, and the Evil test

The Wise, the Foolish, and the Evil test

necessary-endingsThe personality test that tells you if you can grow, and if you can benefit from working with me.

I have been at my wits’ end for years now.

Today I found out what was missing…

Remember the wise saying: when something is not working, there is something you don’t know.

More often than not, what you don’t know is a distinction… and it was definitely true in my case.

I have been making the mistake of coaching and dealing with my people as if they were me… like me… similar to me.

What is your self-image? Do personality profiles work?

What is your self-image? Do personality profiles work?

There is a fundamental built-in error in tests that involve answering questions about ourselves.

I have found that personality tests that rely on your knowing yourself and to predict what you would do in certain situations, are profoundly flawed. 1

I say this after working with thousands of people, one-on-one, observing them, feeling them (I am an empath) and comparing who and how they are compared to what they say about themselves.

The gap is significant between the two. Continue reading “What is your self-image? Do personality profiles work?”

Never really say no? What does it do to you and your life?

Never really say no? What does it do to you and your life?
Master-the-art-of-saying-no-so-you-can-say-yes-to-what-matters-most-e1357110457770You can’t say yes until you said no.

Saying no feels rude. Any type of no. Setting your boundaries, hanging up the phone, saying you are busy…

Even when no one knows you have a hard time saying no.

How do I know? I just observed myself.

The price of being polite, agreeable, and accommodating

I was on a webinar where they showed how to use a graphics software and it was really good and really enjoyable. Then they started to pitch a bonus… I don’t care about the offer. Continue reading “Never really say no? What does it do to you and your life?”

More on joy, and how I am learning to have joy in my life

More on joy, and how I am learning to have joy in my life

joy is an inside jobMy first foray, my first venture into joy or joyous is trying to figure out what joy is. After all we don’t know necessarily what words mean when it comes to feelings… do we. We, children, watch and learn… but in a world where what you see is a mask, what you see does not represent a feeling accurately, because the person isn’t feeling it, because the person is faking it, the looks don’t help.

My hunch is that joy is fabricated with the intention to cause craving for it, to cause an acute sense of the lack of it.

Actually, when I watch people who enjoy something, they don’t smile. Smile is for the outside, social grease. They are deeply connected to something… The pictures of people enjoying something are fake… no enjoyment. I know, I feel what they feel… no joy. Joy interrupted.

Joy is inner, smile is outer. NOT joy.

Joy is a feeling that says something is enjoyed, and, surprisingly, it makes you want to expand…

So, as you see, my first access to joy is the word: enjoy.

You enjoy something, or you don’t. (Enjoy: take delight or pleasure in an activity or occasion).

When you don’t: it doesn’t mean it is NOT enjoyable, it means that YOU don’t take the time to enjoy it.

It happens to me with food, with travel, with music.

Advising, giving advice, helping and the evil eye

Advising, giving advice, helping and the evil eye
people-helping-ducklingsUnless it’s your job to give advice, don’t.

Why? Because giving advice comes from your shadow side, from your dark side.

How? When you give advice, you place yourself above the other person. Giving advice is asserting your superiority.

Have you noticed that you can get fired for that? Even if your advice is right on the spot…

By the way: this is true for healers, coaches, salespeople, helpers, charity volunteers, parents, relatives, everyone.

What causes success?

cause-of-somethingWhen you have a success, when you have even had a successful life, people ask you what you attribute it to. What was responsible for your success.

They ask you so they can learn from you. 2

But… it is hard to know what was the duplicatable, repeatable step that made all the difference.

I have successful students and I have not so successful students.

Today, after my best article, ever, I looked and found that ALL the successful students started to get successful after they put the “there is nothing wrong here” spiritual practice in place.

The machine that runs your life

crash and burn machine of your lifeMy stunning discovery that my conscious thoughts don’t direct my actions may spell out why you are where you are, and why you can’t move from where you are to where you’d like to be… without energetic support.

Now, truth be told, I should have discovered that fact earlier, after all I have read it, but there is a difference between reading something and nodding, and actually discovering it for yourself.

Here is a below the conscious element, you have if you are a Christian or if your religion is “manifesting” or the Law of Attraction: “If somebody else will do it, you’ll never do it.. why bother, why interfere in fate?”

Here is another one: “I can’t.” And unless you build a below the conscious reality in which you can, in which you are someone who can, it will run your life, no matter what affirmations, what mind-movies you expose your conscious mind to… because this is how it works.

The difference is the difference between Tree of Knowledge and Tree of Life… mind stuff, and personal truth.

If you asked a tree if it knows what it’s doing

Vincent_van_Gogh_Starry_NightIf you asked a tree if it knows what it’s doing, it would say: “No. I am just going to do the next thing that seems like the next step.”

That doesn’t mean the tree doesn’t have a vision. It does. Every tree’s vision is to compete with the stars. It is what they want to do.

And they do it on the level and in the format that is programmed into their DNA… some trees are tall, other trees are wide, yet other trees are dwarfs… because you can compete with the stars wherever you are, however you are.

I am a lot like a tree: I have a vision for everything I do, but no plan. No blueprint. Just a sense of what is the next thing that seems like the next step.

Maddening, I know. But, if you pay attention, I get a lot done this way, a lot more than you with your big plans that you are not working on.

One secret…

Procrastinator Doom Loop… How to beat it with energy

Procrastinator Doom Loop… How to beat it with energy

Is your not doing the thing procrastination? Can you beat it?

Delaying hard work is all about your mood… or how you feel.

As I have written earlier, the biggest problem with today’s humanity is that we think that our feelings need to match what we want to do. Continue reading “Procrastinator Doom Loop… How to beat it with energy”

Who are you when no one is looking?

pretending does not correct natureI had a unique glimpse behind the curtain today. I was painted a behind the scenes picture of someone I thought I knew.

On the front, in public, the person is quiet, collected, decent.

Her son reports that

  • she tells everyone in the family who to befriend and who to avoid
  • she tells everyone in the family what they are allowed to talk about and what they should be mum about.
  • she takes tranquilizers and washes them off with alcoholic drinks.

Wow. I never expected to see the ugly side of this person. Of course as an empath I felt her “heart” full of hate, full of pretense, but that is not a fact… and the above are facts.

Disorienting. Disturbing. And probably frequent.
