How will I teach you to live in reality? The 13th floor

This article will be deemed self-aggrandizing, or something of that sort… and I don’t care. Truth is truth…

I am 69 years old.

I have lived, this is a 20/20 hindsight, my entire life on the 13th floor. Two months ago I would not have said that: I didn’t know there is such a thing…

Having live there all my life: I am having a real tough time to say how I got there… because I never lived on the 14th or the 15th floor… the 13th floor is reality, based on your sensory organs, not on thought.

My brothers did live on the 14th floor. Both. My father also lived on the 13th floor. My mother didn’t. Continue reading “How will I teach you to live in reality? The 13th floor”

Can you be delusional? Never thought that about yourself?

Most of the things I find out were in front of me, in plain sight, but I could not see it.

As I am going deeper and deeper into teaching people to feel their feelings, so they can return to the Tree of Life, I am on uncharted territory. I encounter stuff that has always been there… and in this new context it hits me funny… weird… illogical… counter intuitive: to me.

Whenever I see things from the level I am, most of the things I see are things I have never had, and therefore they are new to me. Unfamiliar… Alien.

Such is the thing i want to write now: the delusion that you need to meet everyone’s expectation of you.

That it is your duty to be good enough for everyone, fast enough, smart enough, deep enough, pretty enough, successful enough, to deserve to live.

Talk about freedom to be yourself… I remember when I wept about that possibility myself… because the world, society, your family, your friends, they are a sea of disapproval.

All you ever needed to know to live a full life is hidden under the visible…

I watched a ton of youtube clips this weekend, and some movies…

One could ask: why on Earth should I violate my own rules: no skimming.

But… here is a kicker: it is not what you do, it is how you do it. And what you do with what you did.

I am not a skimmer. I did not watch movies and videos to escape from myself.

Watching those videos was work.

Just like the 67 steps, your job is to cover the 360 degrees of life, and look under the hood. Under the obvious. Under the surface

My 67 step coaching program was inspired by a Neal Stephenson novel

The inspiration to coach using Tai Lopez’s 67 steps came from one of my all time favorite books, the Neal Stephenson novel, Diamond Age.

In that novel, science fiction, far in the future, a scientist puts together an interactive book, a primer, for a rich and influential client’s grand daughter. And then he steals it… meaning: duplicates it without permission.

He means to give it to his daughter, but accidentally it goes to a very young, very poor, very disadvantaged girl, Nell.

Nell grows into a veritable person and a hero as a result of interacting with the book.

Not READING the book, but interacting with the book… doing what the book says to do, answering the book’s questions, etc.

It is not what she learned from the book that made her a person, by the way. It is the constant redirecting the book provided. Getting to know herself. Minding her job as a person… not worrying about others’ opinion of her, or what she is doing, of what one is supposed to do. Insisting on your personal reality leads to misery

Your personal reality and reality… misaligned, misconstrued, faulty, no wonder you are miserable

We could safely say that your vibration number faithfully expresses the degree of alignment between your personal reality and actual reality.

Your personal reality is your map of reality.

You built your map of reality, what you think is out there, what you see out there, what you hear, taste, touch… filtered through your map of reality… you built that map through what you were told, and what you took from what you were told.

The average vibration on the planet, at this time, is 128. That is a 1% truth value, a 1% match between your personal reality and reality. It means that you don’t see 70% of what is out there. And what you see, the remaining 30%, you see it 70% wrong.

It’s sad but true in every area of your life. Emotional, spiritual, physical. Health, wealth, love and happiness.

But what is even worse, your heroes, your teachers, your scientists, your politicians have only a slightly higher vibration, and a slightly more accurate map of reality.

The hockey stick graph: your TLB score is on it… and you are likely in the 99%. Why?

your tld score is on a hockey stick graphLearn something and a whole world of learning opens up…

I had the first breakthrough in my 67 steps coaching…

Why only the first? Because most people do the 67 steps the way they do their lives: with their eyes closed, hoping for magic.

Hoping for either me doing the job for them, or the audios or the content of the audios doing the job for them. None of them can… it is not the content. It is what you do

So what happens if you do the 67 steps with your eyes open?

For a long time: not much. But then I’ll hear something, a direction, that I can push you towards. Some people get to this push-point sooner, others later. Most: never.

Your TLB score is the surest predictor. Not your IQ, not even your vibration. Your TLB score.

If I asked you: how much of my articles you actually get… What would you say?

If I asked you: how much of my articles you actually get… What would you say?

Experiments and tests show that if you have the right attitude, high level of interest, and you are coherent: you can receive as much as 7% of what is being said. Word based communication.

Re-listening or re-reading the same thing won’t improve the percentage much. Why? Because what you think is there replaces, effectively, what you hear or read the second time.

This is what is normal.

What is also normal is to believe that you got 100%. And for the speaker to think that you can get more than 7%.

Out of sight, out of mind… the death of all intentions

A lot of years ago a guy, another participant stood up in a Landmark Education seminar and shared something that has impacted my life to this day.

Here is what he said:

“The other day I was lying on the couch, working on a report for my workplace.

I didn’t like what I wrote, so I crumpled the paper and pitched it to the waste basket that was on the other side of the room. After missing it several times, my wife picked up the waste basket and put it right next to me.”

That was all he said. I was shaken to the core. Move the things you need close to where you need them… Hah.

Because we don’t live that way. We hope to get everything done. We make to-do lists, but something always falls by the wayside.

If and when you add a new thing to do, which happens all the time, something else falls off, or you forget to do it.

You live a life that is set up to remain the same. No matter what you want… no matter what you say.

What is it that hides it from you that you have been wrong?

The biggest issue is not what you have. The biggest issue is how you use it.

I get a lot of emails. People want better health. People want more money. People want to make a difference. People want to have a higher vibration.

What no one has said to me: I want to know more. I want to see more. I want to grow.

One of my students wrote to me this morning: How must it be to see so clearly the truth of things invisible to others? I wonder.

If I took you on the top of the Empire State building, you would be able to recognize a few landmarks, more if you are from New York.

Vibration, the number, is like the number of floors you are above street level.

But it is not enough to be higher, it is important to see things for what they are.

Actually: what raises your vibration is seeing things for what they are. The more precisely and accurately you see things for what they are, the higher your vibration. Astute is the common name for it.
