Children. All become stupid, ugly grown-ups

“Intelligence is the inborn capacity to see, to perceive. Every child is born intelligent, then made stupid by the society. We educate him in stupidity. Sooner or later he graduates in stupidity.

Intelligence is a natural phenomenon – just as breathing is, just as seeing is. Intelligence is the inner seeing; it is intuitive. It has nothing to do with intellect, remember. Never confuse intellect with intelligence, they are polar opposites. Intellect is of the head; it is taught by others, it is imposed on you. You have to cultivate it. It is borrowed, it is something foreign, it is not inborn.

But intelligence is inborn. It is your very being, your very nature. “~Osho Continue reading “Children. All become stupid, ugly grown-ups”

Thinking vs. Having Thoughts… that is the question

A Reclaim participant writes:

Sophie – I like the way your articles guide (or sometimes the word is more appropriately ‘prod’) me in the right direction. It’s like getting extra coaching every day. My favorites this week are ‘the highest and most effective skill you can learn is to allow things to be exactly the way they are’. And ‘be observing the mind, not identify with the mind’. When I really get them, not ‘understanding’ with the mind but really get them, they help me move right into the Observer position, my current assignment. How great is that!

My answer:

Wonderful. Now, how about you learning it so deep that you don’t always need my articles to do it for you?

Who you are when no one is looking… Part 2

A few days ago I wrote an article: “Who are you when no one is looking?

I got one brave person to answer the question.

Now, the question wasn’t: How do you feel when no one is looking? It also wasn’t: “How do you behave, what do you do, when no one is looking?”

The question was about beingness. The core. The part that doesn’t change with your moods, with the person you are talking to, with your circumstances.

Do you allow yourself to be sad? On the first spring day?

springI was feeling blue today. I opened the windows, and the noise from the outside was deafening… compared to the silence I have enjoyed all winter. I got a headache, I started to think of moving to someplace where it’s quiet… no grass mowers, no road repair, no people.

I felt the sadness. Grieving. My mind was digging up stories of sadness. One of my favorite book characters is sad, and is attracted to sad women… Henry Bosch.

Especially around a character, Cassie Black who later re-appears as Lena, if I remember correctly. Sad. Loss. Aloneness.

Have you ever noticed… what hope is doing to you?

whores... selling the now for a future that may never happenYou have your eyes on something. Something that is currently out of reach. It either take work, time, or money to get it. Time passes, you do the work, you get the money, you buy it… and then something totally unexpected happens: you don’t want it. You don’t want to use it…

Another version of the same thing, just in a different arena: you want a person to love you. You long for it. You court them. You buy them gifts, or do nice things to them. Then, when they say they love you and want you… the bottom falls out. You suddenly don’t want it.

But why would such a horrible thing be a daily occurrence?

2015 Passover, the blood moon, what is Passover about?

2015 Passover blood moon signI grew up communist, atheist, so when I left Hungary in 1982, I went to Israel to find out what it means to be Jewish. Honestly, I didn’t like any of it… It wasn’t for me… all that tradition, or alternatively all that worldliness…

I came the the US, and at some point I started to study Kabbalah with the Kabbalah Centre… 1 Kabbalah is an incomprehensible vague oral tradition, wide open to interpretation, and thus, for most people it is quite useless. Mystical, yeah… but… mystical for a purpose is poison to your soul.

The study of Kabbalah used to be limited to men over 40. Why? because younger men, and women are more result oriented.

Result oriented is good… you would say if you live in our culture, that is what you are supposed to be, right?

If your vibration is low, the more something resonates with you the less its truth value or Why Paul Selig is so popular

ResonanceIf your vibration is low, the more something resonates with you the less its truth value.

Why? Because you like what you are. You are attracted what confirms what you think, how you are, who you are, what you know. 1

There is no mystery why humanity is growing away from its true nature, not towards it.

Watch who and what is hugely popular?

The more popular someone is, the more people they attract, the closer their “truth” is to the common society trained mind. The more it sounds true to the low vibration man… The average vibration on the Planet is 120… the closer a guru is to that vibration the more people they attract.

Spiritual Laws that you disobey: The Law of Flexibility

Ask anyone; the happiest moments of one’s life are the moment when we find ourselves in our vertical self… or at least centered and grounded in the bottom of it.

It doesn’t happen a lot, because we are brought up and encouraged to live in our horizontal being.
