You have to get ready for a breakthrough? WTF? Why?

You have to get ready for a breakthrough? WTF? Why?

ugly duckling to beautiful swanOne of my students had a breakthrough on the Monday webinar.

To me it came out of the blue… nothing seemed to be building up to it.

I got intensely curious. After all, when you don’t or can’t acknowledge the “real” source of a breakthrough, then you can’t sustain the result the breakthrough. It looks like divine intervention: you are not causing it, some “entity” does… and all you can do is pray for rain…

It’s hard to be silently brilliant. Lots of thoughts…

It’s hard to be silently brilliant. Lots of thoughts…

eb3bf6d2bcf2ecaf1ee944306d115dd2It’s hard to be silently brilliant. Lots of thoughts occur when you open your mouth.

Some days I have nothing to say. It doesn’t feel like there is anything to say that needs to be said.

Some people never have anything to say and they talk all the time. Others think that they have to first formulate it in their heads to say it, and it never comes together. Continue reading “It’s hard to be silently brilliant. Lots of thoughts…”

Why is awareness the predictor of future success, why not skills or knowledge?

shearling-coat-2The first few steps in the 67 steps are long, rich, convoluted audios. Why? Because no matter how long the audio, you’ll only get one little thing, if that, because the cone of vision of your awareness is as wide as a pencil.

Did I notice, did I take in all he spoke about my first time around doing the 67 steps? No. I didn’t.

It is like traveling in a car. If you look out the window, you miss the conversation in the car. If you take part in the conversation in the car, you miss the whole trip. If you read, if you are hungry…

The goal is to expand the cone of awareness so it’s wide. So you can see the view, partake in the conversation, and maybe even be hungry…

Now, that is, increasing your awareness is the goal… but how does it effect success?

The Pleasure Principle and winning in life

The Pleasure Principle and winning in life

tumblr_ni0hxucPbU1u23a8fo1_1280Psychology, as a science and as a practice has some tools: Observation and brain scans.

But the problem with either is that the human element, the interpreter between what is being seen, their mindset, their attitude, their approach, is crucial.

But, of course, this is true everywhere, except with psychologists, we expect them to interpret what they observe accurately… except they don’t. As a rule.

And then there are some outliers… like Freud. Continue reading “The Pleasure Principle and winning in life”

Case study: Attachment removal. What can you learn from it?

Case study: Attachment removal. What can you learn from it?

dave-watts-song-thrush-turdus-philomelos-eating-a-worm-ukI started to offer attachment removal in 2015, I think. This is one I did today… and I am sharing it with you because there is a great lesson in it, especially if you read Osho’s words I also included:

She: Do I have any attachments?

Me: yes. you have about 20 Continue reading “Case study: Attachment removal. What can you learn from it?”

A breakthrough in raising my level of consciousness

A breakthrough in raising my level of consciousness

climbing-the-tree-of-life-raising-consciousnessI just had a breakthrough…

I have been teaching you how to raise your consciousness, your level of consciousness, by allowing something or someone guide you to look at things beyond where you always look, and differently than you have always looked.

I consider myself always a student as well… so I have been listening to myself, and following my own teaching.

But the results, in the area of growing visibility, increasing my following, increasing my income, have been stagnant… I could not see anything new…

Until this morning. Continue reading “A breakthrough in raising my level of consciousness”

Sell an idea for a buck… then do it again. Make your first dollar…

>first-dollarOne of the best life lessons I follow, I learned in a course, 30 years ago.

The course was called “more money workshop”

The lesson was: sell an idea for a dollar to at least three people.

It’s not easy, especially if you have never thought that you could sell an idea.

It has two benefits:

  1. it gets you over the hump of what is worth money. A lot if people think that they are geniouses, but they never sold anything, so they have no idea if their ideas are worth anything.

Because worth is not innate… it is in the eye of the buyer.

Ideas are like babies… the process you need to honor to be happy, healthy, and successful

baby elephant is like an ideaThis is one article, with two separate yet connected parts.

Part 1: Flashes of brilliance

Growth is not linear. By that I mean that you don’t grow a little bit every day. It is much like evolution: something tiny changes, and it creates a dramatic shift.

When things feel linear, it also means that you are simply stirring the soup… no growth. It’s OK.

Yesterday I had a glimpse at something that I had never seen: I saw that if opportunity favors the prepared… then I am in trouble: I am not prepared for any opportunity.

Destinations and directions… or ‘cheap closure now’

Destinations and directions… or ‘cheap closure now’

Easy as apple pie…

But that gives rise to the ‘this isn’t it‘ and ‘somewhere else is better than here‘ way of living.

It also gives rise to another detrimental cultural phenomenon: cheap closure now.

I am from Hungary. Famous for its bakery, pastries…

Let us look at a problem that needs fixing: fruit pie filling.

How to detect lies… even your own…

lying spot a liarOne of the things I am starting to check if the person who wants to work with me, closely, is in the habit of lying or not.

So yesterday I told an applicant that she was a liar.

I muscletested it, and muscletest said she was a liar…

Turns out she wasn’t lying in that moment, yet she was a liar.

I muscletested it because I felt it. It felt like a disgust or stomach ache…

She considered the incident an invalidation of anything and everything I do, and left.

I am OK with that. It is still “cheaper” to have someone quit than have to do the uphill struggle to try to cause transformation to someone who is a liar. Even if the lies are not conscious. Mostly they aren’t.
