What can Marco Polo’s legend teach you?

marco-polo-mosaicThis may just be a legend… Yet, legends can teach…

Marco Polo was an Italian man who arrived into the Great Khan’s court. The Great Khan asked him and his two companions about the desert they had to cross to get to his court.

The two older men had little to say. Marco Polo, on the other hand, had a lot to say.

The two older men were banished, Marco Polo was given the role of advisor.

Why?

Because Marco Polo didn’t live his live with his consciousness buried in his mind.

WTF, right? What does that mean?

How to create turning points to gain access to being

How to create turning points to gain access to being

The response to my beingness article has been a cry for help… Help to get you to beingness.

This article talks about three ways you block the flow. There are, of course, a lot more ways, but we’ll start with these. When you release these, you’ve done 50% of the work to get to beingness.

We’ll look at the Three R’s, resignation, resentment, regret. With these 3 R’s we can create a turning point in our lives. Continue reading “How to create turning points to gain access to being”

Neutralize being ineffective and unhappy…

Neutralize being ineffective and unhappy…
looking about, multitasking, overwhelmThe ONLY way to be happy is to accept what is.

Accept how it is. And also accept how it isn’t.

Now, this second statement, accept reality how it isn’t is the topic of this article, the essence of this spiritual practice. Accept that it is what it is, not something else, that may look better, faster, easier…

One of the symptoms of not accepting reality the way it isn’t, is overwhelm… another one is misery… Want to know more?

Now, before I continue, I want to explain something:

How to take an active role in raising your vibration: the process

do something today that your future self will thank you forLet me repeat the process that will begin your active role in raising your vibration, that will begin your process of becoming a Human Being.

If you are offended that I say that you are not a human being, please give it up. Beingness is not available fully on the level humanity is existing, and if you live in the United States, you are even less likely to be on the level than people who live in countries where pretentious living is not the norm.

With that said, let’s see, again, what is the process. What is triggering this article, is the response I am getting to the article: no understanding, none whatsoever.

Now, the process is simple. It is not easy, but at least it is simple.

Spirituality and the quality of your life? Part 1

holographic-universe-mainMy method of growing myself, my method of growing what can be known for humans, is running conquering-new-territories campaigns into the unknown.

It is about leading scouting and conquering military campaigns into the unknown and unknowable, and I do it on my podcast calls… the one I have been having for 8 years now. Every week, for 15 years now.

Some calls are huge campaigns, today’s was like that, and most calls are maintenance, cleaning up, clarifying… All needed for a coherent view.

In today’s call, the conversation was about the question: what does spirituality have to do with the quality of your life??

Expectation is the mother of Disappointment

Expectation is the mother of Disappointment

expectation is the mother of disappointmentOne of the questions I hear on the Talk-to-Me calls or in emails is how to “make it better” or what is good, etc.

It’s all a comparison, past based, from the mind.

One thing, disappointment 1 can’t be made better. It’s like pregnant: it is either a yes or a no.

Now, I assume that we all get disappointed, more or less, depending on us.

disappointment-2Disappointment is the shadow side of expectation.

Expectation, of course, is quite automatic, just like having an agenda is automatic… actually they are just a different word for the same thing.

I haven’t been able to consciously not expect a certain result… on the other hand, for the most part I expect nothing… or expect the worst.

This is another Dark Side suggestion: expect the best and then you’ll get the best… What a bunch of huey! The whole positive thinking movement is a Dark Side suggestion, and has created more misery than even religion, which is saying a lot.

Expecting the best won’t get you the best… Exactly the opposite is true.

One size does not fit all… or How do you know what spiritual practices to cultivate to get the most results?

One-hand-slapping-the-waterSome people want me to give them answers, give them a spiritual practice for growth, to raise their vibration, without allowing me to know anything much about them.

I am an empath, but that doesn’t mean I know your date of birth, or I know your education, your job, your aspirations, your ethnicity…

These are important, because one size doesn’t fit all.

The reason you get more from me than from buying a course, because I give you answers that are a perfect fit to who you are.

But of course the “egalitarian” culture of today… that we are all the same, needing the same food, the same way to exercise, the same thoughts, if you believe it, will mess with your mind.

We may have the same rights… but we are not the same.

We each have the right to demand respect, to ourselves, to our culture, to our beliefs. We have the right to receive respect… but it is not up to rights to actually get them.

True? You have to believe that you can succeed to succeed

True? You have to believe that you can succeed to succeed

#1 lie that makes you sheepThe teaching that you have to believe that you can succeed is utter b.s.

This teaching has been the secret to more failures than anything else I can find.

  1. You see, you cannot force yourself to believe anything that you don’t believe.
  2. In addition to that, your actions do NOT come from your beliefs, do not even come from your thoughts, they come from a place much deeper than that. For example, I am your perfect pessimist: I never believe I can do it. I never believe that I will succeed.Possibility-Thinking-BSBut… I am not waiting for my beliefs to change, I do what I need to do, whether I believe I will succeed, or even that I am doing the right thing.

Now, why is this stupid lie taught? Because it makes you sheep… Or conversely, it makes you overconfident.

By the way, all Dark Side suggestions, or emotions are designed to make you sheep.

Spiritual practice: Recognizing yourself in another, considering the other a mirror

mirror-effectThis is probably the most politically incorrect post I have ever written… I could not find a picture to illustrate it on the whole world wide web.

Why is it politically incorrect? Because the current Dark Side suggestion is that you are perfect the way you are, and your job is to forgive yourself any faults, if you even have any, and keep looking to the outside where other people are worse than you…. Dark Side suggestions are designed to keep you miserable and powerless till you die… 2

But the picture and quote I found is true, even if no one understands it. Oh well…

The other day I watched this British comedian mock Robert Pattinson’s acting. I don’t know the actor he was talking about, but I recognized myself having, somewhat the same relationship with some gurus that, in my view, don’t deserve the adulation and the millions of dollars they make, while I “should”.

Angry? Frustrated? Anxious? Ask: Does this benefit me?

Angry? Frustrated? Anxious? Ask: Does this benefit me?

anxiety-and-careerYou get angry, you get frustrated, you get anxious, you get jealous… you name it, the emotions pop up and you have nothing to do about them.

But… and this is a BIG but: A normal emotion comes and goes, like clouds on a windy day. Com and go… sunny, cloudy, sunny, cloudy.

Emotions and feelings are energies, and energy’s nature is to move. If they don’t, you have the static electricity thing going: and because energy MUST move, it will explode… like lightning.

You just have to hold onto the emotion by resisting it.

After all most emotions don’t feel good. I even dare say: held-onto emotions don’t feel good… even if it is happiness you are holding onto.

It’s like laughter: it is great. It is a great release. It is invigorating.
