Energy healing, coaching, nutritional consulting

preacher1Yesterday I had an “energy healer” type of person on the Open Mic aka Talk to Me webinar.

Normally these webinars are really fun: we talk. Students ask questions, some great, some simple and to the point… they have fun, I have fun, and our relationship deepens.

Yesterday was a different kind of session: there was this “energy healer” guy… and he was into arguing, debating, talking about what he thinks, what he learned, blah blah blah.

He considered my webinar his forum to disseminate his wisdom. His learning. His take on the world.

Pleasure seeking, avoiding pain behavior…

Pleasure seeking, avoiding pain behavior…

white-tigerThere are two kinds of pleasure.

  1. Pleasure that is immediate, impulsive, and requires no or little sustained effort and
  2. Pleasure that is the result of work… sustained effort.

No matter what pleasure you seek, what makes it pleasure is the contrast:

there needs to be pain for pleasure to exist. 1

Although I could write about pleasure that you earn through hard and sustained work, and I have written hundreds of articles about it, people with too small capacity for pain (TLB) rarely turn around and become people who want to earn their pleasure.

illo-brainSo in this article I’ll address the pleasure seeking behavior of people, you? whose pain threshold is very low.

Pain is a discomfort. Most pain is emotional or intellectual, only some are physical.

The average number of people in any program that actually get the results promised by the program is as low as 1-2%

The average number of people in any program that actually get the results promised by the program is as low as 1-2%

FULL_ResultsWhat is the paralyzing factor that is responsible for producing such low results in any type of program?

The normal result is 1~2%, and an extraordinarily successful course with lots of handholding can clock a 7% result.

And this result does not see to depend on the amount of schooling people have, or the average IQ…

This afternoon I listened in to a webinar orientation of the marketing course I am taking. As I said, the course is two thousand dollars, ten weeks, and it started yesterday.

Its bulk was answering questions. And the questions were a dead giveaway why people don’t succeed in the courses they take:

You can already see on day two of a 10 week course who is not going to succeed. Who is asking the type of questions that belie their thinking habits…

How do you know if you are imagining growing?

How do you know if you are imagining growing?

Unsightly-weedsMy homework for the course I am in is to read 200 testimonials to a book in my niche.

My niche is self growth, becoming a human being, being all you can become…

A little vague, I am afraid. But being able to pinpoint what attracts people that say they want to grow is what I want to do… so I have been reading those darned testimonials.

I’ve chosen to only track testimonials to book I have read myself:

Frequency by Penney Peirce (personal vibration: 130)… Truth value 3% and E-Squared: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality by Pam Grout (personal vibration: 170) truth value between 5 and 8 percent, depending where the reader’s vibration is. 2

Learning new things is hard. But the other side of pain

Learning new things is hard. But the other side of pain

learning-is-hardI hate to learn new things. I am learning disabled. It’s not an excuse, it’s a fact that is in my way and makes any learning process torturous for me.

Does this mean I don’t learn new things? No.

I am OK with slow. I am OK with the pain. I am OK to move through dark fog to come out on the other end with some clarity. Continue reading “Learning new things is hard. But the other side of pain”

How to grow some balls… at least seemingly

How to grow some balls… at least seemingly

grow-some-balls-2As I have mentioned, I have signed up to an expensive course that teaches a marketing method to pick the right people that are a good match for what I am attempting to do: take a group of people to the level of human being, the next evolutionary level for the species.

Signing up opened a can of worms.

Several daily emails, and a slew of offers, all beyond my need, all beyond my budget.

Today, a week into this campaign, the fifteenth video, the offer is 20 thousand dollars… and I am ready to throw in the towel.

It is like being in a restaurant,

Could you, can you have a great life without ever adding a spiritual capacity to your arsenal?

Could you, can you have a great life without ever adding a spiritual capacity to your arsenal?

light-a-fire2Could you, can you have a great life without ever adding a spiritual capacity to your arsenal?

This question has never been asked of me, so I am asking the question, for you, on your behalf.

Because we are starting to see that keeping spiritual capacities on is not the easiest thing to do… unless…

I’ll talk about that unless later on in this article.

So, what is the answer?

The answer is surprising: you can have a great life without ever adding a spiritual capacity.

Are you happy with the results you are getting in your life?

Are you happy with the results you are getting in your life?
Are you happy with the results you are getting?

In your efforts for money, in your efforts for knowledge, in your efforts for happiness, in your efforts for health?

One useful technique that you may try in your case is to invert the usual questions.

What are the usual questions?

How can I…?
Why can’t I…?
What can I do so I…?

What is another word for allowing? Any clues?

What is another word for allowing? Any clues?

allowing-room-forWhat is another word for allowing? How does it make you live in abundance… It will shed light what keeps you in scarcity and fear.

I have another word for allowing, that has always worked much better for me than the word allowing.

The other word is ‘having room for’…

You see, if you live in tight quarters, than everything that intrudes it, everything that you didn’t design to be there creates clutter, hinders you in your movement, cramps your style.

If you move into a larger house, that maybe even has a basement and an attic, and a few extra bedrooms, you have room for a lot of stuff… even for a lot of stuff that you neither need or want.

But you can afford the luxury to let those things be, you have them, they don’t have you… meaning they don’t have your goat.

You let them be… that is what having is.

And, ultimately, this, allowing/having room is the difference between scarcity and abundance. Continue reading “What is another word for allowing? Any clues?”

Managing yourself…

Managing yourself…

anger-lieLet me start with a story that will upset you:…

As I mentioned in an article yesterday, I just bought into a two thousand dollar program. It seems to be the best prepared program I have ever done, with amazing organization, attention to detail, little videos explaining everything again and again, purpose, how to find my way, what order to do things and why.

To my surprise I experienced hate as I was listening to the originator of this program.

He can do everything I can. This program already has thousands of people signed up. And I don’t think I matter to anyone, even though the teacher is emphasizing how much each person matters to him… I KNOW he is lying.

I have a chip on my shoulder. My ego is bruised… and… Continue reading “Managing yourself…”
