The courage to be yourself, Your TRUE self

The courage to be yourself, Your TRUE self

know your true selfI had an insight yesterday that was completely driven home today by my guidance system.

We see something, and then it’s gone.

It is gone, and it didn’t have time or a receiver to impart the important learning in what we saw.

This happens with such frequency, that we stop paying attention to our inner guidance, our bodies talking to us…

We see the the feeling for a moment from the corner of our consciousness, and the guidance is lost… again.

Are you tired or are you weak? Revealing the root cause…

Are you tired or are you weak? Revealing the root cause…

Are you tired or are you weak?

I am starting to see why my students loved me, rallied for me back in 2012-2013-2014…

It’d been puzzling me… what did I do differently then?

Today I saw it.

I had a private call with a brand new client from Australia, and it was a video call on zoom (don’t ask… first time zoom user myself!) so I could see her, and the changes the conversation was creating in her. Continue reading “Are you tired or are you weak? Revealing the root cause…”

Self-love, self-hate… let’s dig deep on these, shall we?

Self-love, self-hate… let’s dig deep on these, shall we?

Integrity is an inside job. It is between you and yourself.

Everyone has two selves, one that is perfect, and the other that is flawed.

The perfect one is generous, loving, unconditionally. It is compassionate.

The flawed one KNOWS, i.e. assumes that it is judged, looked down upon, and is full of hatred, anger, fear, anxiety, rebellion, and expects to be loved and accepted the way it is… and even though is loved, and accepted… it can only feel its own emotions.

This is so with every emotion. You can’t feel the love that is coming towards you. You can only feel the love that you feel for the other, Your love. Your anger. Your hate.

So no matter how much the perfect self loves the flawed self, the flawed self will feel judged… hated, despised, etc.

I have been observing my clients and my students, and there is one common characteristic that only varies in intensity: and that is self-hate… and stinginess towards self… as in punishing the self for not being perfect. Continue reading “Self-love, self-hate… let’s dig deep on these, shall we?”

Your obsession with fast, instant, effortless…

Your obsession with fast, instant, effortless…

It’s not how fast you are, but how fast you get there…

Our culture is obsessed with fast. Instant. Effortless.

Fast thinkers are put on pedestal.

But, between you and me, anything that is built fast will come down fast.

The faster someone is, the less they perform in my programs, for example.

Fast is from the left brain.

There are people who seem fast… but the truth is: it took them a long long time, countess days, hours, weeks, months, to build a large enough foundation from which, they can, seemingly produce lightning fast products, books, results. The bliss of being who you are, the bliss of being your Self

The bliss of being who you are, the bliss of being your Self

I wrote this article five years ago. But it goes well with my next… so I am republishing it… so they can be read together.

Last night I finished watching the British series, ‘The Paradise’ about the first department store in London.

I learned something I probably would not have been able to learn anywhere else.

The series is mainly about two characters, the owner of the store who created it. He came from nothing, and is a true entrepreneur.

The other character is a small-town girl, who works for him, and discovers herself as an entrepreneur. Discovers is the key word.

What makes you who you are today?

What makes you who you are today?

The obvious answers are that it is your past that makes you who you are. What happened to you. What was your education, your upbringing, your genes, your environment.

And all that seems to make you who you are today, and if you are anything like the people I deal with, day in and day out, you are not happy with who you are, how you are.

Why? How you are doesn’t get you the life you have always wanted, the accomplishments, the joy, the intimacy, the love, the care you wanted.

Is how you are really who you are? No, not at all. Nobody is. Or nobody is fully authentic.

You are is put together, while who you are is diligently covered up. Continue reading “What makes you who you are today?”

The emotions that you are a slave to are manipulated… Emotional Intelligence Part two

The emotions that you are a slave to are manipulated… Emotional Intelligence Part two

This is part two of an article I started yesterday

I have a client whose soul correction is Fear/Fearless. She asked me how to get rid of that fear.

She is young, she is impressionable, and she acts fearful. She will have a lot of problems in life from that: it will keep her a child needing protection, someone else to look out for her.

Not what Life wants her to be.

Your soul correction is a particular way you lean away from Life, you turn away from Life: you don’t take responsibility and accountability for yourself and your life.

Life whats what Hillel the elder said some 2100 years ago:

If you are not for you, who is for you?

In this article we’ll examine what is ‘being for yourself’ means… be prepared to be surprised, my students were when they found out. Continue reading “The emotions that you are a slave to are manipulated… Emotional Intelligence Part two”

Confuse needs and wants? Especially around the holidays?

Confuse needs and wants? Especially around the holidays?

Once you conquer a “boulder”, a challenging character flaw, a new one takes its place. But what is in common in all the flaws is the seed level.

What is the seed level of all the stuff that can make you miserable? Sorry, all the stuff that makes you miserable?

So far I have found two that every person has:

1. As far as I can see it, it is a mindset nearly all humans share: that life, things should be different. That what they think should be is what should be.

They place themselves above reality, above nature, above physics, above maybe even above their gods.

That because you want it, it should be so.

How to disappear all of your past… so you can have an empty future?

I was looking for good pictures to go with this topic, and I was struck to what degree people think that what they have as their past is what happened in the past.

100% of what happened, what you say happened, what you remember happened, actually didn’t happen. You only remember what you said about it… the meanings, the interpretations. Not what happened in reality.

Getting to see what is in reality, what was in reality, takes work, and a serious change in how you look.

This article will be most useful for my students, who have been doing that work for a long time, some of them as long as a full year…

So if what I am saying doesn’t make a lot of sense… consider that it should not… You don’t have the foundation, the skills, the capacities that only practice can give you… Real practice. Deliberate practice.

If you want the results my students are getting, you need to do the work my students are doing… in the Playground. Day in and day out… Continue reading “How to disappear all of your past… so you can have an empty future?”

Pretense. authenticity. the zig-zag path to yourself

Pretense. authenticity. the zig-zag path to yourself
  • don't wish it was easier“Don’t wish it were easier: wish you were better. Don’t wish for less problems wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge wish for more wisdom” said Jim Rohn
  • I want to be loved just the way I am… say most people.
  • You are already perfect…
  • The marriage of these three differing points of view is the state of humanity right now: rampant pretense… and utter misery.

The pretense prevents most everyone from becoming better. From building skills. From attaining wisdom.

The pretense is like a 2 feet by 4 feet jail cell… tight, restrictive, unpleasant. Continue reading “Pretense. authenticity. the zig-zag path to yourself”
