Success leaves traces… as in footprints in the sand

Success literature, books, articles, movies about success… are they worth following?

Success leaves traces… as in footprints in the sand

If you look at what people did, how they did it, the tracks converge and become the “strait and narrow’, exactly the way Leo Tolstoy says it in the Anna Karenina Principle.

So there is no wonder that I am finding articles nowadays that I could have written myself, if I were a success writer.

There are three types of success writers and success coaches.

Your mutt factor… and food processing. Questions answered

Why certain spices, food mixes, supplements, when I check them for you (or me), are counter indicated?

There are quite a few factors…

One of them is your “mutt-factor”.

Your mutt factor is how close your DNA is to what it was ten thousand generations ago

That is 200,000 years.

Depending on how much of your oldest ancestral DNA remained matching your current DNA: you are sensitive or not to “modern” food models, chemicals, preservatives, drying agents.

The politically incorrect path to happiness

I popped out of bed this morning. I got a glimpse of something. I don’t know what I saw, because it went by so fast, but it was enough to shoot me out of bed.

Urgency. I am driving my life… and sleeping is almost like I am snoozing in the back of the bus.

This whole idea that you are in the driving seat of your life should hit you as a surprise. Why? Because if and when I observe your behavior, your attitude, it doesn’t look to me that you know it.

This is a long article. Be willing to read it, be willing to be lead to the conclusion. If you jump, you’ll miss the point.

Your hands are not on the steering wheel… you are not pressing the gas pedal, you are in passenger mode, exploring the onboard entertainment, and complain, occasionally about the onboard food, the onboard beverages… unaware that you actually allow the automatic pilot to go wherever it is going…

Do you have opportunities to break out from your routine?

the-2-percentFor me holidays are important, because they are not routine. And because it is so easy to be in a routine, and not consider it a rut… even I need something outside to change to take a different look at my own life, at my own business.

This time around I finally was willing to admit that my site needs redesigning.

I am not willing to overhaul it completely, but I am willing to make it completely compatible with mobile devices: already more than 50% of all visits are from mobile devices. I have been acting in concert with the 5% tweak principle I learned from Tai

More questions for self-reflection

toughquestions-orangeHere are more questions. Don’t do them as a quiz… Pick the question that feels the most confronting, the one that makes your belly dance… The purpose of the questions, the purpose of your “inquiry” is to know yourself, not to impress someone else!

    1. Do I share myself, my real self? Or do I withhold myself, protect myself, be aloof? When I do share: do I share to share, or do I share to complain, to get sympathy?
    2. Do I tweet posts, if I do, because I want to share them, because I am generous, or because I want to prove to someone that what I read about people fits them like a glove? I feel vindicated because I agree that they are creeps… lol, not that funny
    3. Do I care about others? Do I pretend to care about others? Do I consider them human beings with the same rights as myself? Or do I think that their feelings don’t really matter…?

Anchor your existence and start becoming a person

We all want to be a person… but none of us know how to do it.

This article is a method that can help you becoming a person…

In this article I use an analogy with plants… but this article is not about plants, it is about you having deep roots so you have a core, and when you say I, you know that you are talking about those deep roots…

floating plantsI have run out of good shows to watch on Netflix.

I began to watch and abandoned four shows, fast.

And I just had an insight:

Most TV/Netflix customers are like most people: they have no foundation from which to watch, see, read anything.

Even when it’s a well designed, well executed show: these people don’t know why. Or the reason it is good for them is different from person to person.

For me a good show is a show well planned out. A show that decides, ahead of time, what it thrives to accomplish. That is the context inside which they develop the characters, the story line, and direct the actors to act in. Continue reading “Anchor your existence and start becoming a person”

Skeletons in your closet… suppressing them suppresses all your life

91b98b94a59e3473fc106f248aba37baI completed the third round of the 67 steps, and my intrinsic Self told me: it is time for another kind of practice.

So I have been curiously waiting for the “thing” to show up, and today it did.

Actually it started two days ago, but I noticed it today.

it-is-better-to-have-skeletons-in-your-closet-than-walk-with-no-bonesI need to get on the chiropractic table periodically to adjust my hip, or it goes out of shape to the degree that my thigh bone jumps out of its socket. That is very painful.

So I got on the table today… and it’s a long process… and somehow I was looking into what started my hip pain, when it started, and what was the “original cause”… or it.

I went down memory lane and got to a period of my life I am not proud of.

What is the intrinsic role of commitment…?

commitment-to-marryWhat is the intrinsic role of commitment… making a commitment, committing to something?

Ever asked the question why people get engaged? Engaged to be married…

    Engagement is making a commitment…

    But commitment is tricky.

Real commitment comes from the Intrinsic Self, and you don’t need to make it. It is what the Intrinsic Self wants you to do…

Most things you call commitment, are impositions on the Intrinsic Self, impositions on you. Duty, obligation, drudgery.

They come from either an outside goal or an ego goal… and they don’t get the support of the Intrinsic Self.

The engagement period drives up the real sentiments, and if there is any honesty, will prove or disprove the authenticity of the commitment.

Authenticity means: coming from the intrinsic Self.

The inner jail keeper. That robs you of your Self

    kill-your-fatheror

The reward system that robbed you of your Self… and made you a pig that doesn’t want to fly

As a Jew, I have, firmly rooted, a conviction that I am a chosen one. Not The Chosen One, but A chosen one.

This may be the secret to my attitude that I hear guidance in so many things.

And because I expect guidance, it shows up.

    This may be the secret…

It is Monday morning, and of course, the Monday Morning Memo has arrived.

This morning I chose to listen to the memo, instead of reading it.

The memo was dramatized, much like a radio advertising… Radio advertising I haven’t heard in many years.

I was cringing. I hated it. But it made me think:

What people are saying isn’t so much in the words, but it the attitude that is fueling them. Continue reading “The inner jail keeper. That robs you of your Self”

Curiosity, Inquiry, Discernment, Tree Of Life…

…Tree Of Knowledge, Mind, Brain, Thinking About, Thinking…

Do You Know The Difference? You are wired to want to know

You are wired to avoid uncertainty, wired to want to know how it all works so you can be safe. Understandable. Makes sense… you must use the MIND to accomplish that: feel safe, believe you are safe, dream of safety, crave safety, shrink, become nearly nonexistent.

Safety is a myth. Life is not safe. Safety is not attainable.
