Being guided is the weirdest feeling you can imagine

Being guided is the weirdest feeling you can imagine

I remember, in the “Ultimate Leadership” course, being guided around land mines while my eyes were closed. The issue of trust, trusting my life to another human being was something I still have nightmares about today. The course was almost 10 years ago.

But in that exercise I knew the outcome, so I could keep it in my mind’s eye as “that’s what will be the result if all goes as planned.”

Tough choices: knowing what’s important and what isn’t

Tough choices: knowing what’s important and what isn’t

Churchill and the dalek: tough choicesTough choices: knowing what’s important

Life is really so incredible perfect when you are committed to something, and therefore you look at everything through that commitment.

Here is a quote I had attached to my kitchen cabinet for four years. When I moved it was impossible to save it: it crumbled… lol. It has an awful lot to do with who I am today, and the incredible results I was able to produce in those four years:

Can you be with it? Have that thing there and just be?

Can you be with it? Have that thing there and just be?
can-you-be-with-rapeCan you be with it?

Can you just be… not running away. Not trying to fix it. Not hating it. Just BE. Be there.

Can you have that thing there, threatening as it might be, and just be?

And observe? And do nothing?

None of your buttons pushed, none of your usual anger, or whatever… just silence, just peace, just emergence? Continue reading “Can you be with it? Have that thing there and just be?”

Will the Soul in you cry when it’s time to die, or is it going sigh a sigh of relief that the boredom is ending?

the immortal soulI have been pondering what is the Soul’s attitude, the Soul’s relationship to dying.

After all the Soul is immortal, at least relative to the physical body. But what does it mean? How does it feel? What does the Soul think about that? And does the Soul come back and know it has been here before? And how does it relate to the new body, if that is how it work?

Great questions, no answers until this morning.

The Capacity Of Having: The Most Important Capacity Of All

buddha had the capacity of having, the capacity of allowingThis article will leave you disbelieving that I know you at all… after all you think you know yourself.

But if you allow me to crack the dense bubble you live in, just a little bit, and show you how exercising this capacity will change your life to the better, maybe, and just maybe, you will allow me to get the work done with you…

Why would you resist? Because we all think of having stuff, having love, having capacities, having everything, but we have no idea what having is. But having is possessing, and not doing… and therein lies the mischief.

Want confidence, want your life to change? Here is a simple way to do it…

every speaking is committingAll speaking is committing. All speaking. Even if it is inside your head, and only you can hear it. Not even… especially those speakings you speak to yourself are committing.

How many of those speakings have you fulfilled upon? Next to none, I guess…

If you had a team that is committed to fulfilling every wish, ever commitment you have, they only need you to act… would that team look at you today and say that you are full of crap? Given that your word has no power? That you don’t mean half of what you say?

So, what has it cost you that you are like that?

No excuse will make it easier or lighter, or less costly.

Existential Courage, taking risks, turning point

Existential Courage, taking risks, turning point

One of the most important things I have ever done in my life is find out what really holds me back from taking risks.

After all, if you want to grow, as a person, as a business, you need to take risks: all power comes from going out of your comfort zone, and it’s a risk.

The kind of risk that causes you to grow is the kind of risk you need existential courage to face.

The other risk, existential risk, is annihilation of your physical body, but the kind of risk that causes growth is the kind that threatens to annihilate your self-image, your persona, to make you look bad, be wrong, be less than you desire to be.

So you can see, you have that kind of risk every step of the way, while the other, existential risk is rare and dull in comparison.

Let me return to the most important thing I have ever done, and that is: find out and own my biggest fear. Embrace it, if you wish… Love it, if you wish…

The desire to lord over others vs. the desire to lord over oneself. Updated

The biggest problem with humanity is the unwillingness to face the truth, face darkness, and that is the cause of humanity’s descent to darkness. False security, unsuspecting, childlike, sheep.

I am not a time traveler, so I can only use my faculties to know, to recognize, to think logically, to compare… to intuit the truth about the past and therefore the present.

My finding is that humans, whatever DNA group they belong to, would never have evolved to the peak of consciousness in the Universe, if they didn’t always have that tiny little bit of inner light setting them right in the last moment.

Through ages of slaughter, and hunger, and misery, and hope and dividedness, somehow they always found a way to survive and to grow.

According to findings, my fantasies (I call them fantasies because I have no proof positive that it actually happened, though a lot of facts point in the same direction) humanity has had four previous generations that were born, grew, and annihilated themselves or got annihilated.

We are generation five.

Saxifraga vs. Flash in the pan results. The memory of transformation isn’t

the opposite of flash in the pan, the rock breakerOne of my pet peeves, one of my biggest complains, one of my unsolvable conundrums has been the issue of “flash in the pan results.” 1

Excitement, enthusiasm, motivation, the tools of the motivational speakers lasts about three days… they the humdrum days return with the disappointment, despair, and hopelessness.

Transformation and a new view of life results from transformational programs like Landmark Education. But yesterday’s transformation is today’s arrogance, or today’s despair… the results are rare and short term…

When I measure the vibration of a Landmark Education participant, including the leaders, the average vibration is lower than the general population’s.

Are you on the right track… integrity… compass… conscience. Is there such a thing as a path?

right-path-2The biggest issues that I see students deal with are around the fear of taking a wrong step.

The underlying belief, the underlying assumption is that the soul’s path, your life’s work is a straight line and unless you are on that line, you are off.

This is a very debilitating belief. 2 It is perpetuated by the ego: the ego wants to minimize your investment, and maximize your gains, and it fancies itself to know what you should do.

In the case of life path, what’s next for you, etc. questions, it opts to no action, no change… after all the ego’s job is to keep you safe, and safe, when the ego looks, is mostly staying the safe. You have survived until that point, after all. The ego is interested in looking good and surviving.

The ego’s interest and the soul’s interest are diametrically opposed. The soul wants you to move, to take risks, to have a learning experience. But most importantly, the soul wants your life, your activities, your path to have a direction.
