Why you should not trust your doctor, your nutritionist, your muscletesting

I am learning something I hoped I’d never learn…

People, when they are diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, they are willing to change what got them to have that disease.

Temporarily.

With only a few exceptions. My younger brother is one… He had a triple bypass AND gall stones a few years ago. About 10 years ago.

He dropped all his access weight, started to move a whole lot more, started to eat differently… for a while.

I just measured his health measurements… and he is not well… again. Continue reading “I am learning something I hoped I’d never learn…”

Responsibility: what can you be responsible for?

Sophie, I loved your Legrande coaching call. It was incredible. I still cant get over it how much lessons in there that were so amazing.

When you say the only thing we are responsible for is an attitude and action do you mean ours only? Continue reading “Responsibility: what can you be responsible for?”

Self-trust… a linchpin capacity… can you develop it?

scared-to-take-the-next-stepHow do you develop yourself to be able to move forward? To grow?

Many of my coaching students are at a crucial point in their lives where unless something happens, they probably won’t move forward.

Fear, unclarity, self-centeredness, belligerence…

The main attitude is different for each person. Not one person resembles another in what seems to block their path.

A perfect example of the Anna Karenina Principle: a deficiency in any one of a number of factors dooms an endeavor to failure. All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way

All people who move forward are alike. All stuck people are stuck in their own way.

Can you turn life into a party? At a moment’s notice?

feet-in-the-soilI experienced a few weeks ago that I can bring party to life.

It was at my weekly exercise class. The teacher has 600 songs on his tablet… and we do everything to the music and the rhythm of the songs.

You can use that to do the movements normally, or the way I do it: like a crazy breakdancer… not the moves, just the temperament… I am getting old. But I used to dance like a breakdancer… no kidding.

How you dance expresses who you are the most accurately… of course within the boundaries of your physical intelligence.

Acquiring the capacities of caring, respect, and regard

caringThis is a somewhat edited article from 2011. In 2011 I still thought that I can upgrade the DNA of every person on the planet.

The capacity of caring is new to humanity. On September 4 less than a handful of people had it.

So what is this capacity ‘caring’ that we give lip service to, but we lie when we do that?

Let me tell you how I came to have it some 10 years ago:

Do you have boundaries? Do you even NEED boundaries?

One of the issues some of my clients come up with are about setting boundaries.

Preventing abuse, being used, being seduced from the path to do what other people want them to do.

This is not an easy question… but you can get closer to actually being free to be yourself and have the room, the energy, the clarity to move in the direction you want to move.

Because humans, their DNA is, on this evolutionary level, act on an either you or me chassis… Which means: people are going to pull you off your path, take up your time, and likely give nothing worthwhile in return.

The complainers, the needy, the wanty, the superior, the sick, etc. Or even the cat picture posters, the tik-tok video producers, the news channels, the enthusiastic, the cultish…

Almost everybody… Continue reading “Do you have boundaries? Do you even NEED boundaries?”

1 thing, 1 principle, 1 distinction: turn your life around

One of the crucial steps in the 67 steps, is Step #26. It’s about having both belts and suspenders so you always have something to hold up your pants… your life… your health… And your relationships… your livelihood. That step is a step that has been paying me dividends for years now.

Having both a best and a suspender is a distinction…

It began when I first heard it. In 2016. Continue reading “1 thing, 1 principle, 1 distinction: turn your life around”

How to turn your life around under any circumstances

…or how should you go from where you are to where you want to be, emotionally, in your health, wealth, love, and happiness.

I just ended my core group training, and as it seems I now have some energy to coach.

Instantly three ‘associates’ called, on the same day, and I accepted all three for some friendly coaching: just for the fun of it.

Who or what kind of people are people I like to coach: Continue reading “How to turn your life around under any circumstances”

Be a fly on the wall observing me self-coaching

This article has two parts:

  • In part one I coach myself to be able to make a decision if I want to spend the money and the time to sign up and do a course creators’ course. I am undecided… and that is, being on the fence is not good for me… So I want to make a decision and be done with it.
  • In part two I’ll look again at the idea of living, what it takes. The skill aspect. Inner skills and outer skills. You can skip to part two if you don’t want to follow my self-coaching method…
Here we go: part one: self coaching

I want to make a decision on the course creators’ course with artificial intelligence… Continue reading “Be a fly on the wall observing me self-coaching”
