What if we are all mentally ill? All of us depressed people

mental illnessWhat if being fat, or a loser, a hapless never do well is a mental illness?

What if mental illness is lying?

I read this article on Medium this morning. The dude, Tim Denning recovered from anxiety he had for decades. A debilitating anxiety by testing himself in situations where he had been anxious, and proved to himself that he wasn’t anxious as a law, as a rule, sometimes he wasn’t.

So he asked himself two questions: What if mental illness is lying? What if mental illness is simply conditioned thinking?

These two questions changed his reality. Continue reading “What if we are all mentally ill? All of us depressed people”

Flexible, floppy. and rigid… which one are you?

flexible, floppy, rigid? What is the difference between people who grow and people who don’t?

When you look at people’s core we see three ways the core behaves:

  • strong and flexible – they will
  • weak and floppy – they can’t
  • weak and rigid – they won’t

Depending on your core you’ll behave in life… So what determines what your core will be like? Continue reading “Flexible, floppy. and rigid… which one are you?”

A smart phone does not reverse the aging process…

entrepreneur or notI know, I know, I stole that subject line… but… it is so funny. It seem out of context but it isn’t… wait and see.

The line is from Brian Kurtz, marketing master, whose message still goes over my head. I have to confess: I am not a ‘real’ marketer, I just have things I can teach, I have things I can sell, and I do the best I can with what I have… but marketing? I still don’t amount there to much. Kindergarten level.

And that means that business, marketing, making money is never my ‘one thing’ to focus on, never my ‘one thing’ I hope I’ll have time to do, just isn’t.

My one thing is… Continue reading “A smart phone does not reverse the aging process…”

The Bottomless Pit that Greed is and entrainment

entrainment to greedNature is weird.

Osmosis is a process in which molecules of a solvent, like water, tend to pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one, thus equalizing the concentrations on each side of the membrane.

It is a lot like entrainment, at least in appearance… Continue reading “The Bottomless Pit that Greed is and entrainment”

Getting the job done… what is mine to do?

getting the job doneI had an incident today… an incident with amazing guidance.

I bought a pack of stories to enliven my articles and my emails. There was an upsell… inexpensive, and something that teaches something I need.

I muscletested if I should buy it. The test said ‘no’. Is it because I don’t need it? yes. And then it occurred to me: ‘I have everything I need to get the job done‘… wow.

I heard and learned that sentence back in 1976… and it worked like gangbusters then. Continue reading “Getting the job done… what is mine to do?”

Authenticity: what does being authentic get you?

authenticityI am a foreigner. I learned the English words, one by one. Since the age of 10… English was my third language. I have become fluent in 6 languages thus far.

I only started to learn the beingness words when I came to the United States at age 38 and started working on my transformation.

First, let me say what I mean by transformation: I don’t mean change, I don’t mean losing weight, I don’t mean that I or something outside of me changes. What does change is what I see… by looking at things differently.

And because your actions will be ALWAYS consistent with what you see, as a result my actions, my attitude, my mood will change, automatically.

I had had a glimpse of what’s possible for me… but it’s taken me a few decades to be able to see the world from a place from where life feels OK, I feel OK, and from where I can feel joy, freedom, and peace of mind, almost 24/7.

Back to beingness words

The first beingness word I looked into was generosity. I was a total beginner at distinguishing. Continue reading “Authenticity: what does being authentic get you?”

Confession Video? What are you confessing?

dance is divine. live your life like a danceYesterday I was on a zoom training with a known videographer.

He gave an assignment to us, participants, to make a five-minute ‘confession video’ of why we do what we do, being vulnerable, authentic, and firm in the declaration of the intention for what we do.

Each their own… not as a group. Continue reading “Confession Video? What are you confessing?”

Empty The Future or else the undertow will wiiiiii

empty clearing the futureI read this article ten years ago… and saved it. The truth value is somewhat ‘high’… 10%… the average article has only 7% truth value on the internet.

I’ll put the article in the footnotes… so you can read it…

What is true in that article? the concept that you need to remove everything that is in your path to achieving what you want to achieve. That it is your job. But the nature of the obstacles: it is sorrily off.

So 1. what are the obstacles and 2. what is the process of clearing them? Continue reading “Empty The Future or else the undertow will wiiiiii”

The tragedy that happened to humanity in the last Century

success literatureWhat happened to humanity, starting at the beginning of the 20th Century is a big tragedy.

Success literature happened.

And success gurus, success writers, motivational speakers, and the whole industry of the Lottery Approach.

The same thing happened in spirituality and in healing. Even religion had been kinder to people… Even religion had robbed them less that this new wave of success literature. Killing Life… for most people. Continue reading “The tragedy that happened to humanity in the last Century”

Why Shackleton’s famous ad was a lie

Shackleton-courage-deficiencyA course really begins when you sign up to it

Any course, any journey… A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step… says the Chinese proverb. If it doesn’t terrify you, then it will not be significant… then it will be just a walk in the park…

The guidance the Universe has for you is when you embark on something significant. If you have only enthusiasm, if you feel good about it… it means that it is either the wrong course of action, or won’t make a difference for you. Too easy. Continue reading “Why Shackleton’s famous ad was a lie”
