Beware the barrenness of a busy life. ~ Socrates

There is never a time when new distraction will not show up; we sow them, so several will grow from the same seed. ~ Seneca the elder

You better train yourself to manage your attention. Focus determines the quality of your life

These above are all quotes… We read them we nod, or not, and we continue not having a clue why our life sucks.

Your experience is what you agree to attend to. Not necessarily with words: you agree with your actions, what you pay attention to. Continue reading “Authenticity: Beware the barrenness of a busy life… ~Socrates”

How you fake your consciousness… Is it working?

How you fake your consciousness… Is it working?
Your level of vibration closely correlates with your level of integrity. And the vibration of humans is dropping about 10 points a year…

I am working on the integrity workshop coming up in two days, and am starting to see why someone with less than 200 vibration is focusing on the actions, instead of the context.

The hallmark of low vibration is to see only what is visible… the obvious.

Not surprisingly the level of integrity closely matches the level of vibration… and trying to change the actions is an inefficient and ineffective way to integrity. Continue reading “How you fake your consciousness… Is it working?”

Does Your Life Lack Meaning? Purpose? Organizing Principle?

Does Your Life Lack Meaning? Purpose? Organizing Principle?

According to some statistics, 30% of humanity lack meaning in their lives.

I think that this statistics is off by a lot. It’s more like 91%… according to Source. Continue reading “Does Your Life Lack Meaning? Purpose? Organizing Principle?”

Rebooting your life

Rebooting your life

I was on technical support for three hours this morning. Two delightful tech support people… and no results. The software that wasn’t working, kept on not working.

At some point after 3 hours, my virus protection software requested a machine startup. I restarted the PC, and guess what: the software started to work.

This used to be the case when I was still using Macintosh until some 14 years ago. Anything wrong repaired itself with a reboot.

Now, how is this connected to anything spiritual? Let me count the ways…

If you look at your life, or someone else’s life, life has been an almost uninterrupted story of… Continue reading “Rebooting your life”

How to fall in love with yourself… and why

How to fall in love with yourself… and why
Why? Why would you want to love yourself?

When you love yourself: you love your life. And that is the closest we know to be a happy person.

And you want to be happy, right? It feels like your birthright. Even though I can’t specifically point at anyone who is happy… it IS your birthright. Continue reading “How to fall in love with yourself… and why”

What you most want in life

What you most want in life

A different way to approach your ITCH is this ‘poem’ I swiped from today’s Monday Morning Memo

It takes four people to make a world.

1. One person wants acceptance.
They hope to save the relationship.
Under pressure, they acquiesce. Continue reading “What you most want in life”

Context is decisive. 99% of humans can’t get the idea

Context is decisive. 99% of humans can’t get the idea

Everyone says that you create your own reality. They fancy themselves creating wealth, health, a loving partner… out of thin air.

But they don’t get that they have already created their own reality… unconsciously, and now they are just stirring muck… ineffectively. Continue reading “Context is decisive. 99% of humans can’t get the idea”

Buyers are liars

“Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.”

– W.T. Purkiser

Most people claim that they want to change their lives… because truthfully, how it is now, is not much fun.

Only a tiny fragment of them will be willing.

What is the reason?

One reason is that they are lying. Habitually. And maybe, just maybe, they don’t even know it.

  • I remember the times when I had no idea what I liked and what I didn’t like.
  • I remember when the only way I knew I was hungry is because I found myself eating.
  • I remember when I didn’t know I had to go to the bathroom until I found myself there. 1

So ultimately you know what you like, what you want, who you are only from your actions. Not from what you say. Continue reading “Buyers are liars”

You are a liar! That’s why you are not moving forward…

I know it is a shocking and offending title. Neither shocking you nor offending you is my purpose. I want to teach you something… so bear with me… I need to take you through the steps, so you can get what I mean… see how you lie, and how it prevents you from growing and being happy.

What is language?

Language is a mode of communication, Humans communicate, animals communicate, plants communicate.

  • Plants communicate with posture, with chemicals, with smell.
  • Animals communicate with posture, with touch, with chemicals, and with sound.
  • Humans also communicate all those ways, except humans, even though they could be aware, are unaware, unconscious of all those ways of communicating, and consider language the only communication. Not all humans, mind you, but the majority.

How we keep our self-worth, self-value low

How we keep our self-worth, self-value low

I have been posting my articles on Medium, an online platform, for the past two years.

This morning I was tallying up what articles were well read, well thought of… and was pondering if I should write articles that people like, or if I should continue writing articles that people need. Articles that only I can write… writing those is more fun for me. Continue reading “How we keep our self-worth, self-value low”
