What a one minute exercise reveals about you?

What a one minute exercise reveals about you?

What do your emotions and behavior hide?

Your behaviors, your feelings and emotions are the tip of the iceberg, hiding the below water part, your attitudes. Your attitude to anything…

Here is the exercise: Close your eyes and imagine a bowl of cherries in front of you. It’s all for you. No competition. Or a box of chocolates if that fits you better.

How do you eat your cherries?

You reach out and take a cherry, or whatever you have in front of you.

  • Did you take the largest, most ripe cherry? The best of all the chocolates?
  • Did you take the puny little cherry first? The kind of chocolate you don’t really like?
  • Did you just take any of the cherries, without looking if it is big, plump, or puny?

The underlying attitude shows clearly on your behavior.

Words create your emotions, your reality, your next action

Words create your emotions, your reality, your next action

Words create your emotions, your reality, your next action, your beingness, your attitude… everything

‘Law of attraction’ teachers abuse this fact… and fleece you, dupe you, and infuse you with delusional beliefs. But regardless… it is true. Words create worlds. But not all words, and definitely not imprecise words…

In this article I’ll deal with that imprecision.

Words create your emotions, your reality, your next action, your beingness, your attitude… everything. Everything you can’t wrap some words around don’t exist for you.

Do you think it would be a good idea to use the words with some finesse, precision, instead of doing it with sloppiness?

Of course, how you do anything is how you do everything: if you are a sloppy person, your language will be sloppy too.
If you are stingy…
If you are a time waster…
If you are cowardly…
If you are a liar, a cheater, a bombastic promiser who never delivers…

You get the drift, I hope. Continue reading “Words create your emotions, your reality, your next action”

You can’t hurry learning, you can’t hurry growth or healing

You can’t hurry learning, you can’t hurry growth or healing

One of the sins humanity is perpetrating and has been maybe forever is hurry.

Hurry puts you out of sync, out of harmony with Life. Hurry means you want something faster than it is.

While some things can be done faster without a price. You can run faster, but if your heart goes faster too, you’ll drop dead. You can throw a ball faster. You can make an engine faster. But most things move at the speed of the thing, and making them faster will have a price higher than the thing you want. Are you a lone wolf? The capacity of inclusivity…

Are you a lone wolf? The capacity of inclusivity…

Some animals are lone rangers… hunt alone. Maybe eat their young when hungry. Other animals hunt in a pack. Humans are supposedly pack animals, but individuals dare to differ. I am not a pack animal, although when I find a group of people who welcome me, I get all teary eyed… but even then: I’ll do my own thing, and ‘belong’ to the pack as a leader. And if I can’t be a leader, if I can’t have a voice, I don’t want to be there.

Which means: humans vary in many regards, and this is just one of them.

As a kid I was the black sheep. For years I wasn’t even included in family dinners… my mother sent my food in on a tray with my little brother.

I felt excluded. Thrown out. Left out. Continue reading “Are you a lone wolf? The capacity of inclusivity…”

Unless you know what growth is, you have the illusion

Unless you know what growth is, you have the illusion

When I suggest that someone should grow, it is obvious to me that they have no idea what it means, or how to grow, or what it feels like.

The reason I measure someone’s accurate vocabulary is to see to what degree words mean for them what they actually mean, to what degree they have an actual experience about the meaning of words. Continue reading “Unless you know what growth is, you have the illusion”

Negativity and the fallacy that disempowers billions

Negativity and the fallacy that disempowers billions

The common fallacy that saying anything negative sounding IS a bad thing… that saying bad things brings bad stuff in its wake

In another article I said: all speaking is committing. And it is true… But is every speaking as strong a commitments as if you said: this is what I stand for, so help me god?

I am working through something that happened in a call with Troy, where he was the coach and I was the client.

I mentioned to him my article from yesterday where I said: no one wants to interview me, so I’ll interview myself.

He instantly got bent out of shape. I am still dealing with the negative reaction it caused for him… as a true empath I am still connected to him, and I feel it will take him a while to shake it off. Continue reading “Negativity and the fallacy that disempowers billions”

Intelligence hold conflicting ideas in the mind and function

Intelligence hold conflicting ideas in the mind and function

The quote “The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.” points to a very important capacity: the capacity of TLB.

TLB is your twitchy little bastard score. Twitchy shows to what degree you are able (and willing) to bring your beingness, your actions, your reactions under your own control. Whether you’ll flinch, twitch, argue, attack, defend yourself, justify, explain, talk talk talk… or not.

It is, ultimately a function of intelligence. How?

Your reaction is literally the result of you not being able to hold two opposing ideas.

It means that you are stuck on the lowest rang of values, the systemic values, it is either this or that, it is either me or you, it is either I am a victim or I am the victor.

Ultimately it’s a maturing process… but growing in years doesn’t necessarily mean you have grown in wisdom. Continue reading “Intelligence hold conflicting ideas in the mind and function”

Ad speak… what are you hiding? What is ad-speak?

Ad speak… what are you hiding? What is ad-speak?

Ad speak… what are you hiding?

If you want to get the context of this article fully, read my comment exchange with Kathryn.

Kathryn has been an on and off student for quite some time.

She alternates between loving me, and hating me. Normal, right? Then she puts it all on loud speaker for all to hear.

Not for a second is she aware that she is broadcasting her view, not the truth. Continue reading “Ad speak… what are you hiding? What is ad-speak?”

Common sense and a sense of humor are the same thing

Common sense and a sense of humor are the same thing

‘Common sense and a sense of humor are the same thing, moving at different speeds. A sense of humor is just common sense, dancing.’ ~ William James

One of the surest symptoms of someone not taking full responsibility for how their life is going is a lack of sense of humor. And because responsibility, the capacity is not available under 200 vibration, that means 99% of humanity lives without a sense of humor. The best way to predict the future is to create it

The best way to predict the future is to create it

I have written extensively about the fact that you want someone else to wipe your ass…

OK, not literally, not factually, but in essence.

One of the areas where this is completely clear is the number of people who want to be entrepreneurs, they want to own and run a business, but the above attitude is in their way.

It is a whole different thing to take a job, even to freelance, even to be self-employed, and creating and running a business.

I have two brothers. Both shied away from that option: they preferred a situation where someone else buys the chair, the computer, the software, the solutions, the bookkeeping, the location, the everything… and they just do the work, however many hours a day, and get paid.

It drives me bonkers to hear the expression, so and so business owner did this and that, to give back to the community.

Give back what? Continue reading “The best way to predict the future is to create it”
