3 levels of value. Use it to fall in love with yourself

3 levels of value. Use it to fall in love with yourself

Coconut Is it good for you?How do you use the three levels of value in your “real” life to fall in love with yourself?

The article asking: where do you look to define your value got a lot of “hits” and comments.

Reading the answers I saw that some fundamental distinctions are missing, in spite of the fact that I have written about all of those before, on this blog.

So after reading the article about the three levels of value, you probably start to see a little bit the difference how the different levels of value change what assessment you make, how your appraisal, evaluation, estimation, measurement, judgment will be, looking from that level.

So let’s look a little deeper and see with examples how that looks.

Where you are speaking from is as important as what kind of value you are judging.

How to get things done, even if you don’t quite know what you need to do?

rock-climbing-croppedThis used to happen to me all the time: I’d get an email with a link. I’d go to the page, I’d love the results the guy is having, I’d want it. I’d buy it… then… I can’t use it. Even the tutorial videos don’t help: I lost my “vision.”

How come we buy things. While we watch the sales video, we feel clear about our need to have this, we feel clear about how it’s going to fit into what we are already doing, we feel clear about what to do.

Then the magic moment comes: we are sitting in front of the product, and we have no idea about any of that.

I hear that only one to two percent of buyers, on average, use the products they bought. Whether it is a software, a marketing method, a workout regimen, the Water Energizer®, a meditation program, a spiritual practice… whatever it is, the results are the same.

What happened? They nodded.

What is health?

A German who escaped just before all the Jews were hoarded into concentration camps in Germany, came to the United States.

His name was Robert Hartman.

His experience with evil uniquely qualified him to set out to deal with the age long question: what is evil, what is good?

He took on himself to define good… the strait and narrow. Many philosophers failed in that: after all the strait and narrow is delineated by the land that encloses it, not by itself…

But he succeeded.

That which does not kill us, makes us stronger

That which does not kill us, makes us stronger

strongA few years ago I lost my sense of smell.

Then I changed my diet and the sense of smell came back.

Surprisingly I often smell things that didn’t seem to be there… Bringing up memories of the times I smelled the same… good smell, bad smell, neutral smell.

It’s hot here, unseasonably hot, and to accommodate it I am taking cold showers and I am eating differently.

Attachments are like snakes you have hanging from you

attachments-snakes-1I am trying to organize the information I provide people when they ask for their vibration, or whether they have attachments or not.

On a lark I measured if the student in the previous article had attachments. She felt so imprisoned… there must be a reason.

To my surprise she has 10 attachments.

Build your house on rock: Starting from what is

Build your house on rock: Starting from what is

build-your-house-on-rockMy disastrous conversation with the zealous Christian on the other end of the phone opened my eye to something I could not see clearly before.

What I saw is where religion, the popularized version, and where modern spiritual teacherdom overlap and join forces to dupe you.

Before I start:

does your experience of yourself match these principles:
–you are already perfect.
–You are already divine, you just don’t know it.

Against self criticism and the 4-day weekend

4-day weekendOne of the rarest and most functional capacities is the capacity to allow… without resistance.

Resistance uses a lot of energy, mostly the energy that you need to become successful, to do the right thing, to be well, and to treat people, including yourself, right.

Resistance is normal, but harmful. Just like self-criticism: normal but harmful, with no upside.

Upside is the benefit you gain from a harmful or painful action or experience.

Neither resistance, nor self-criticism, self-judgment have any upside, only downside.

Why is rape so traumatic, while sex is so commonplace?

Why is rape so traumatic, while sex is so commonplace?
  • Why is rape so traumatic, while sex is so commonplace?
  • Why is slave labor so traumatic, while working is so natural to us.

If you have ever been pinned down, not able to free yourself…
If you have ever been forced to do something you didn’t want to do… anything…

…your trust of life, your trust in people, your confidence has dealt a big blow.

Recovering is not guaranteed, and the wound can be torn open again quite easily.

When something isn’t working there’s something you don’t see

When something isn’t working there’s something you don’t see

When something isn’t working… money, love, health, business, school…

When something isn’t working consider that it’s because there is something that you don’t know.

Whether the something that isn’t working is money, love, health, business, school… the answer is always “there is something you don’t know.”

The brilliance of this statement that turned a broke loser, a serial nebbich, Harv Eker into a multimillionaire T. Harv Eker. The brilliance is that because you don’t know what it is that you don’t know… you need to open yourself up to looking. At everything. And a lot… Expose yourself to seeing stuff. He did it, and he is now rich. This one sentence, this one statement, this one habit.

This isn’t what he teaches, because this statement gives you all the power, and you don’t buy stuff when you have the power… He is so rich because no one understand this statement… But why?
