How do you see yourself? how accurate is your self-image?

Your life would work better if the two views were closer. You’d have less surprises, less upsets, less fragmentation in your life…

Your actions depend on your self-image combined with your world-image. Altering either, will alter your actions. Bringing both closer to reality will make you a winner.

How to live a meaningful life, find & live your life’s work

How to live a meaningful life, find & live your life’s work

Meaningful-Life-Skills-BannerHumans are meaning making machines… and are unconscious of the fact that all meaning comes from them.

We want to know what something means, so we can be prepared for the danger or the good fortune that the meaning carries inside it.

But, alas, life is empty and meaningless… intrinsically.

No meaning.

And yet. Meaningful is something we crave… We crave the certainty, we crave the guidance meaningful would give us. Continue reading “How to live a meaningful life, find & live your life’s work”

I looked what is more important to me than life itself…

I looked what is more important to me than life itself…

8ca346c61dd1530c4a485f63b8883ed3Why do I write? Who do I write for? What is important to me? These are the questions that are occupying my thoughts…

I just finished reading 1984, Orwell’s novel. I am not an American, so I never even heard about it until about 1984… In Hungary it is not a recommended reading. Continue reading “I looked what is more important to me than life itself…”

Three groups… three outcomes… which one do you belong to?

Three groups… three outcomes… which one do you belong to?

arrogance is weakness disguised as strengthThe most popular image I have on Instagram says: Arrogance is weakness disguised as strength.

Now, why this is worth writing about?

Because it is the tip of the iceberg of something really important.

We have spoken about the selfish gene. For the gene you are a survival vehicle only. And a person, who is not related to you, is competition, rival… standing in your gene’s way to make more copies of itself.

I know this is unfamiliar territory, but please bear with me, because where it is taking us is worth going to… so patience… you don’t have to understand the genes… unless you really want to.

I don’t want to add another worthless article to the already millions of worthless articles on human nature. Continue reading “Three groups… three outcomes… which one do you belong to?”

The conspiracy to keep you miserable, wretched, and limited

The conspiracy to keep you miserable, wretched, and limited

unreasonableHow everything you know, everything you ever learned from others, everything is being taught makes you miserable, and unable to become an Expanding Human Being

I woke up this morning with crystal clear upsight: if you have a because then you are wretched or you are heading to being wretched.

In the book, Snow Crash, there are two main characters, Hiro and Y.T. 1

They win the war that is waged against humanity.

Hiro is a hacker, and a master sword fighter. He fights to win the affections of a girl.

Y.T. fights because what else is there to do.

Asperger’s Syndrome: the many ways to be different

Asperger’s Syndrome: the many ways to be different

Asperger’s is named after an Austrian pediatrician, and is not a disease. People with Asperger’s will not go around murdering people out of anger: when people do that, it has more to do with suppressed anger than with any alphabet syndrome…

Here is a video made by the mother of a child with Asperger’s syndrome, syndrome meaning a group of symptoms characteristic of a “diagnosis”, in this case most of the symptoms deal with where the person is above and where they are below the “normal.”

Asperger’s is part of the autistic spectrum, just as dyslexia is. I have dyslexia but demonstrate symptoms of Asperger’s in my inability to care, in my focused attention to what interests me, and on being the rule-police… lol.

People like me don’t fit in. We are outsiders. I spent a lot of my time craving closeness, but never really achieving it.

The desire to fit in, to run with the herd is not as much the desire of the person who is different, more it’s the desire of their family: misery loves company: they don’t want the person be left out of the “fun.”

Remember: How I learned Hebrew and how it can help you to become the new human being in no time flat

Remember: How I learned Hebrew and how it can help you to become the new human being in no time flat

remember Hebrew: you used to know it. Remember who you are: you used to know it.

Motto: Mentor: Someone whose hindsight can become your foresight

Remember who you are

In 1981 I got a letter from a man from Israel. He claimed to be a second cousin on my father’s side to me. He was coming to an educational conference in Hungary. He came with his wife.

We spent time together, they were staying with me, in my one-bedroom high-rise apartment in Budapest. He visited with every member of my family, and witnessed their contempt for me first hand.

He promised to be family to me if I decided to go to Israel.

One year later I packed a suitcase and left Hungary. illegally. It was winter in Hungary when I left, in fact it was below 15 minus, very cold. It was about 80 degrees in Israel when I arrived, penniless. I knew one word in Hebrew: shalom.

Dyslexia – the good news and the bad news…

steven-spielberg-dyslexiaUPDATE: I have some underachiever friends and students. I suspect that they may have dyslexia. It just occurred to me… after two excruciatingly difficult conversations in a row… where the partners in the conversation felt stuck, dense, and their level of comprehension is low.

Both are men, both are making a living in their own business, both shy away from learning anything new.

It is one of the worst things for me when I try to teach someone something that they need, and they nod and yes me to death, only to do the opposite or nothing.

Every human wants to make a difference, wants to matter, more than anything, and this flies in the face of that…

But maybe they are dyslexic. Hm.

Your why… what gives you juice, what gives you the strength to stay in the game?

Your why… what gives you juice, what gives you the strength to stay in the game?

what-is-your-whyI just got an insight of what may be the most important factor in your level of vibration.

I got an email from a marketer who I have paid for a course, but slowly have lost my trust in…

But I am still on his list, so he sent me an email.

I’ll copy the email to the bottom… because it is a good email, it is moving, and yet. 2XYZ marketer’s email to me… meaning to be inspiring, no doubt.

Is laziness or lazy-ness learned helplessness?

Is laziness or lazy-ness learned helplessness?

3c9854ee298db856d690210de730d282This laziness thing came up again today.

During shopping. Is a fruit bowl worth the extra $3? It was 9.95, and it’s now 12.95… she says, and I have no idea how to answer. She has no idea what the weight of the fruit is, what the fruit would cost if you bought it and chopped it up yourself.

Just the question, out of context… is it worth it?

So what the heck is really this phenomenon: lazy, that is not lazy at all… but what is it really, if it is not actually lazy?
