My 67 step coaching program was inspired by a Neal Stephenson novel

The inspiration to coach using Tai Lopez’s 67 steps came from one of my all time favorite books, the Neal Stephenson novel, Diamond Age.

In that novel, science fiction, far in the future, a scientist puts together an interactive book, a primer, for a rich and influential client’s grand daughter. And then he steals it… meaning: duplicates it without permission.

He means to give it to his daughter, but accidentally it goes to a very young, very poor, very disadvantaged girl, Nell.

Nell grows into a veritable person and a hero as a result of interacting with the book.

Not READING the book, but interacting with the book… doing what the book says to do, answering the book’s questions, etc.

It is not what she learned from the book that made her a person, by the way. It is the constant redirecting the book provided. Getting to know herself. Minding her job as a person… not worrying about others’ opinion of her, or what she is doing, of what one is supposed to do. To put the spring back into the old mattress

“To put the spring back into the old mattress” 1

I heard that expression yesterday in a movie, and loved it. I wrote it down. Because that is what our work is about. Putting the spring back into the old mattress…

It could be said about you.

Most of you were happy little children once, even if life was tough. Even if bad things happened to you or around you. You jumped out of bed looking forward to the day ahead!

I remember I was, even though I had bad things happen to me.

And then, slowly, gradually, the inner turmoil, the inner misery set in, and now the misery is there, most of the time.

You may even have periods when it feels like someone or something is trying to annihilate you. You think it’s a psychic attach. And it is… except that it isn’t coming from the outside.

It is a part of you that attacks another part of you. Continue reading “To put the spring back into the old mattress”

Without trust there cannot be humility… Without humility there is no growth

As we saw, the two capacities, humility: (saying: I don’t know), and seeing the big picture/looking at the thing inside the big picture, are the most predictive of people who can and will correct their faulty mental picture of reality.

Of these humility is primary.

Humility is what gets us out of our head, and makes us look again.

The mood of this: maybe I didn’t see it right!

We all know people who didn’t look twice, and walked into a trap, walked into disaster with their heads high, no idea that the trap is there.

And how you do anything is how you do everything. So if that is you: it is all over the place for you, in every area of your life.

Raising your vibration? Are you sure that is what you want? Or do you just want to feel good about yourself?

Are you sure that what you want is Raising your vibration? Or do you just want feel good about yourself?

When people come to my site, buy a product or sign up to my mailing list, I ask them what they expect to find, what they expect to get.

Ultimately I find out that they don’t know what vibration is, but they want to feel better. Feel better physically, feel better about their lives, feel better about themselves, without doing anything, changing anything.

They want it to done for them.

They may be willing to pop some pills, listen to some audios, drink some magical potions, but that’s it.

99% of my site’s visitors are not willing to inconvenience themselves in any way.

They want the same life, do the same things, the exact same way, but have a different result: feel better.

When I get a person to ask me to measure their vibration, 50% of them know that their vibration is low, and agree with the number I send their way.
The other half argues: “But I am such a nice person. Kind, caring, volunteer saving cats, blah blah blah”

The pain of being devalued…

what is the truth about youWe all have a need to fulfill others expectations of us, and also some of us have the need to fulfill our own expectations of ourselves.

Now, what if someone says something about you, or something that you like, find important, says something that conflicts with what you think about yourself, your self-image? Your I you consider your Self. (it isn’t… by the way)

Your experience is that you are devalued. 1

The lower your vibration, the more it hurts.

And when someone puts down a thing or a person we have liked, then we feel devalued by association.

This can happen quite frequently if you hang out with me…

Failing at raising your vibration? I dug deep for this…

One of the missing pieces that you are missing, is not only missing for lack of ability, but…

The missing piece is seeing the result of what you are seeing in the big picture view, and check it against the probability of being accurate.

I am pretty good at it.

I am an architect, a structural engineer, and I had to do that every day for 21 years.

But…

In 1971, I got my diploma, and it was going to be my last full summer. I had no income, I had no money. So I took a job waitressing in a coffee shop.

Vibrational Review: Peter Schenk

I got this email in my inbox today. Invitation to get on the Modern Day Mystic online TV show.

I’ve been interviewed on real TV. I have been interviewed for articles. But this would be the first online TV interview since I discovered that the reason I was miserable because people were miserable around me… i.e. I was an empath.

OK, so what do I do when I need to make a decision about doing something or not doing something?

I investigate. And then I think. Pro. Con. First feel… then think, evaluate, compare, see the big picture.

OK, who is this Peter Schenk?

Do you have a core identity? Something that will not change? Something that can lead you to greatness?

Some countries need to manufacture a history for their people. Other countries created one by following a credo, an ethic, that is personally binding.

Father Geoffrey invented a history for England.

The question we’ll look at: can you invent greatness for another… Can a great path that doesn’t oblige have any positive influence on the person, or instead it will give them wrongful pride… “I am better than you” nationalist or racial superiority?

Let me examine the difference between the different stories of different peoples, so I can explain the difference between the individuals who hail from different cultures.

I am going to bumble my way through this… so expect this article to be a little chunky… I apologize ahead of time. No disrespect meant… Honest.

OK…

I’ll go about it the scenic way. Continue reading “Do you have a core identity? Something that will not change? Something that can lead you to greatness?”

Insisting on your personal reality leads to misery

Your personal reality and reality… misaligned, misconstrued, faulty, no wonder you are miserable

We could safely say that your vibration number faithfully expresses the degree of alignment between your personal reality and actual reality.

Your personal reality is your map of reality.

You built your map of reality, what you think is out there, what you see out there, what you hear, taste, touch… filtered through your map of reality… you built that map through what you were told, and what you took from what you were told.

The average vibration on the planet, at this time, is 128. That is a 1% truth value, a 1% match between your personal reality and reality. It means that you don’t see 70% of what is out there. And what you see, the remaining 30%, you see it 70% wrong.

It’s sad but true in every area of your life. Emotional, spiritual, physical. Health, wealth, love and happiness.

But what is even worse, your heroes, your teachers, your scientists, your politicians have only a slightly higher vibration, and a slightly more accurate map of reality.

Heroism vs. incremental process: choosing will choose your life for you

you are fine until it is time to bring in the troopsI just read an article on our mindset, collective mindset, where you wait until something goes really wrong and then you seek out help. It’s here in pdf form… for your convenience. incremental-medicine

This is the mindset that will move you out of trouble and towards a successful life in every area of your life, health, wealth, love, and happiness.

But this is not how you live. You live your life campaigning.

Anything that doesn’t require drama, heroism, anything that is not over the top is ignored, poo-pooed, looked down upon. In every area of life. By you, and by “them”. You dream of being a billionaire while your bills aren’t paid. You dream of a private jet while your credit cards are maxed out. You dream of being a rock star while you haven’t been able to play one song well.

You don’t know, or you ignore the cause of your misery, and then you need rescuing. Continue reading “Heroism vs. incremental process: choosing will choose your life for you”
