If You Can Master One Thing, You Can Master Anything

Master your fears

The opposite of fear is not courage, not fearless… it is abundance. And Abundance is mastery.

Most people’s life is not about living, not about being, not about doing, but about having… and they associate abundance with having.

Wanting makes you wretched. Because your “ground of being” your iceberg below sea level is about desire… but unfortunately desire is like a leaky pail… you can’t fill it, you cannot keep it filled… So life becomes about wanting…

And wanting is about lack…

No amount of having fixes that you don’t feel good about yourself. No amount of having fixes that your attitude about life is that it is wrong… etc.

There is no such thing as abundance, abundance is a concept, and we can make an agreement what meaning will constitute abundance and fulfillment. Abundance and happiness. Abundance and health.

So this is not a physical truth, this is an empirical truth: having lots of stuff is not abundance, it’s just a lot of clutter. Ask me, I know a lot about clutter.

In the world of concepts there is no opposite to fear… other than no fear…

But if you go below the surface, you’ll find that no abundance can be achieved without dealing with fear…

Here is an article by a coach I don’t know, I probably don’t agree with about anything else… but this article is pretty good… 🙂

Abundance Mastery and Fear

by Andrrea Hess (personal vibration: 130)

At least once a week, I receive an email from a client or student who is convinced there’s something deeply “wrong” with them. The reason for their concern? They are terrified of moving forward and it’s stopping them from taking action in their business.

I have to be brutally honest here. There’s nothing wrong. Being absolutely terrified is a completely normal part of the journey. I’m not talking discomfort – I’m talking debilitating fear that takes our breath away.

Here are the normal issues we encounter as expanding entrepreneurs – and I am not exaggerating!

The thought of sending out a marketing email has us curl up in the fetal position, unable to move.

The idea of picking up the phone makes us crawl back into bed and pull the covers up over our heads.

We wake up at two in the morning, our minds racing, the fear of failure so much greater than the desire for success.

Bouts of crying, anger, and desperation arise at least once a week, twice if you’re really going for it.

This is normal, folks. Being petrified doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you. It just means you’re an entrepreneur who is increasing their income. In fact, if you’re feeling good and comfortable all the time, you’re probably not growing your business. You’re probably busy, but not productive.

Most people actually invest most of their money and energy avoiding the terror barrier – by taking more classes, by doing research, by shopping for yet another teacher or mentor or marketing method, by doing a bunch of networking with a lot of other people also successfully avoiding the terror barrier.

Being busy is a great way to avoid the terror. It just doesn’t make us any money.

I promise that I have spent my share of nights on my couch in tears, wondering why I do what I do.

I don’t want to sugar-coat what you’re in for if you want to create a thriving, financially abundant business. There are going to be times when you feel like crap. And if you’re really going for expansion, you’re going to have days when you absolutely hate your life.

I know, I know. This is not what you want to hear. Everyone just wants to feel GOOD. And all of us spiritual folks think that any negativity indicates that we are not on our most Divine path. It’s not true.

There’s a reason not everyone creates a successful business, even though they want one, even though they are talented, intelligent people with great gifts to share.

It’s hard.

If it were easy, everyone who wants to create money in their own business would be doing it successfully.

But it’s not impossible. If it were impossible, then NO-ONE would be doing it.

The question is … do you want it badly enough?

I promise there’s no way to avoid the fear. There’s no way to avoid squirming in your own skin, your mind racing to find yet another way to reasonably procrastinate, to avoid doing what’s necessary to create the money you want … and then having enough drive, discipline, and desire to DO IT ANYWAY.

There’s a reason most people have a job.

As entrepreneurs, we don’t go through the terror barrier just once. We have to do it again. And again. Every single time we expand, the fear is there.

It’s not for everyone. You have to really, really, really want it.

There’s a few things that help.

The first is having a community of people who are as determined as you are, who are willing to face their fear, and do what’s necessary to create results no matter what.

They can be hard to come by. Let’s face it, when our spouse or our friends or our parents see us miserable and terrified, they are highly unlikely to do what we need most. They are highly unlikely to tell us we’re NOT going to die, to suck it up and just do what needs to be done. No, they tend to try and make us feel better. They give us great excuses not to take action. They tell us to put our feet up, to take a break, to have a glass of wine, to relax.

It’s bad advice. What gets us through the fear is action.

The second is a mentor or coach who holds our feet to the fire and reminds us of the big picture, the greater goal … because in the middle of a fear storm, all we can see is our own discomfort.

The third is constantly reminding ourselves of what actions are necessary to create income. It’s so easy for our minds to come up with good excuses to do anything BUT that which scares us so much! This means constantly studying – not as a way to avoid taking action, but to remind us of the necessity of implementation.

But let’s not try to avoid the fear. The fear doesn’t mean there’s anything “wrong” with you. It just means that your humanity is terrified of your Divinity. That’s all.

I promise that you will NOT DIE as a result of increasing your income. You won’t get burned at the stake, drowned in a river, or stoned to death. I also promise you that no amount of energy clearing, past-life regression, tapping, or any other modality will take away the terror barrier.

The fear is just a part of being human. And if you’re looking to ground your Divinity into your humanity – well, you just have to be willing to deal with it.

Are you willing?

Mastery comes from work.

Often hard work. Focus. Knowing what you are up to, knowing why you are doing it.

You can see that all the requirements for abundance, and mastery, and the good life meets with plenty of resistance from a “normal” person.

Just look at yourself, will you? If you are one in half a million, you’ll find that you are not quite the same, but the 499,999 people will identify with what I am going to say:

How excited are you when you hear “hard work?” “Focus.” “Knowing what you are up to”, “knowing why you are doing it”

Actually you stopped listening when I said “hard work”… Why?

because you have been trained, tirelessly and all the time, to avoid hard, to think positive and avoid negative, to consider work a four-letter word, to dream about having without having to work…

If you read the book I have recommended, “Interface” by Neal Stephenson, you know that “they” count on you to be stupid. Count on you to have no idea, no concept of what is going on.

And you don’t disappoint: you can’t see the forest for the trees, and each individual tree doesn’t seem to belong to anything bigger… so you can spend your time fretting over it, or ignoring… the result is the same.

I watch, almost exclusively, cop movies. Why? Because in a cop movie it is really visible to what degree people are stupid. Ignorant. Clueless. Inattentive. Nobody home.

With the few exceptions… who are different, only to emphasize the depth to which “normal” people have fallen.

Unless humanity learns to be astute, tell their ass from their elbow, humanity is going out the door and onto the trash pile.

Can I teach humanity to become a bunch of alert, aware, bright eyed and bushy tailed people?

Can I undo the damage your parents, your teachers, your politicians, your “friends” inflicted on you?

If you mean “Can I wave my hands and make it go away?” the answer is “no. I can’t.”

I am working with a handful of people in the Reclaim program, where we are using Tai’s 67 steps with my additions: 1. what is the principle of the session 2. make a list of successful actions/accomplishment every night before you go asleep. Post them on your private thread for me to see.

And I am working intensely, almost daily, with one student.

Is anybody who can wave their hands and make you astute? No. Hand-wavers make money because you become stupider. No kidding.

Your desire grows, your ambition goes down, and your spending (money) goes up. More money in the hand-wavers bank account.

Is it pleasant to be re-programmed?

Because that is essentially what we need to do… you are programmed to be wretched, lazy, dutiful, and self-righteous. A moocher.

I remember when I myself went through this process.

No, it wasn’t pleasant.

But… I had ambition, and I had mental toughness. I call mental toughness your TLB score.

Without daily assignments, without diligent actions to re-sculpture your mindset, nothing can happen.

So, no, it isn’t pleasant, or no, it is mostly WORK… lol.

People ask me: can you do it? My answer is: Can YOU do it?

The answer is: you can do it. But a better question is: Is it worth enough for you that you WILL do it?

Good relationship? Relationship mastery for relationship

This is what I have been trying to avoid all my life…

Everyone and their brother says that connecting with people is the area of life where you have the most pleasure and happiness, and the most discord, and unhappiness.

Given my childhood, I am afraid of people, I am afraid of pain, and I am very reluctant to even have people around me.

Too much pain… and yet, surprisingly, I do crave unstructured human interaction, to a small degree.

Especially at times like this… Life is too hard for us… lol. I stumbled on the ebook this morning: “The Woman Men Adore…and Never Want To Leave”

Can’t see the forest for the trees? What is astuteness?

Distinction vs examples

One of the reasons you are not as astute in life is because you can’t see the forest for the trees.

You can see the example, but you cannot see the distinction.

But why?

Seeing patterns is a higher function of the brain, and needs to be developed and nurtured. I call this astuteness, or the using the astute capacity.

Love feedback or else… Make it a feedback loop…

The way to find the strait and narrow of happiness (See The Anna Karenina Principle) is to watch the feedback 1 … and self-correct. 2

Yesterday I added integrity to the starting point measurements. so far all people I measured ranked on 3 out of 100. Wow.

I had an exchange of text messages with a guy, whose vibration was low, and that is all he asked for. His vibration.

He is a Polish person, part of the Starseed Global Alliance to save the earth or something. To me it sounds like a computer game… to him: it is reality. 3 Continue reading “Love feedback or else… Make it a feedback loop…”

The Secret: Being unstoppable. Going the extra mile. Being willing to do what it takes…

The stuff heroes made of. Not ordinary.

What was in The Secret movie and The Secret book is plain bullshit. Plain and simple.

What we call ordinary is ugly. Being stopped by fear. Being stopped by doubts. Being stopped by laziness. Being stopped by anything.

You get a great idea, or an invitation, and you see that pursuing would take you to a place you’d like to be… but.

That but, that pesky but, is what is between you and becoming a person. And you know it. So you struggle with the shame, and regret… but that is just more of the same.

The only thing that conquers that “but” is action.

But… but you have learned, wrongly, that one action is all it takes to get from where you are to where you want to be.

Measuring Self-Esteem distortion: how accurate is your self-evaluation?

The new measure I am including in the Starting Point Measurements is Self-Esteem. Or more precisely: how distorted your self-esteem is.

Esteem, the word, comes from the Latin appraise, estimate, measure the value of, the size of… through French and Middle English (as a noun in the sense ‘worth, reputation’): from Old French estime (noun), estimer (verb), from Latin aestimare ‘to estimate.’ The verb was originally in the Latin sense, also ‘appraise’ (compare with estimate), used figuratively to mean ‘assess the merit of.’ Current senses date from the 16th century.

So Self-Esteem is how you think your size is compared to others, compared to a standard.

80% of the people, who have a distorted (inaccurate) sense of themselves, overestimate themselves. This also differs by countries… a lot. For example, Koreans underestimate themselves, and therefore work diligently to measure up.

Not surprisingly, countries with the lowest Ambition number are highest on the overestimation scale… “If I am so wonderful already, why should I want to be more wonderful… says the unconscious culture of these countries.

Disclaimer… Who am I to guide you? The Truth Method

become aware of your own bullshitDisclaimer:

My reviews on health, supplements, and nutrition, practitioners, systems, modalities are based on a little knowledge and a lot of muscletesting. Same with my nutritional consultation.

I am not a doctor, I am not a nutritionist, I am not a pharmacist… I am a True Empath, an avid reader, and a very diligent muscletester. I also test some stuff on myself. To the tune of thousands of dollars worth of stuff a year. 1

I also test on clients: it is never intentional, but it is often a test nevertheless. Watching, observing evaluating, learning new things.

The hardest thing to test is: why something won’t work. Why? Because if you ask stupid questions, you’ll get stupid answers.

The art of asking questions is to get to the cause… to the root. Continue reading “Disclaimer… Who am I to guide you? The Truth Method”

What if getting unstuck is a formula? or How to be a Houdini?

You are nearly always stuck. You may not notice, because you are not rocking the boat, shaking the tree, you are not trying for more, better or different, you are sleepwalking.

When I say “you” I mean, you, me, everyone.

And I am sleepwalking too, but at least some of the time I am conscious of it.

Now… where is this going… right? Do you have to say something, Sophie? yes, I do.

Yesterday was one of those “trouble comes in three’s…” day.

My landlord said something that scared the bejesus out of me… it looks he wants me to move, or else. One of my students got mad at me and quit. And it looked I was on my own getting groceries… the store is far… and the groceries are heavy.

So I saw that regardless of my normally quiet mind, sleep was largely out of question. So I read thill 12:30, and got up at five. And sat down to work.

It, life, my life, looked hopeless. I felt stuck. It felt real. Continue reading “What if getting unstuck is a formula? or How to be a Houdini?”

Why are you inattentive, unappreciative and ungrateful? Not a character defect! A surprising answer…

This article is long… but it addresses something I haven’t seen addressed: when you are in your own way to get where you want to get, financially, healthwise, and spiritually. You inability to appreciate… anything, really. And because appreciation is the key to the kingdom, you are staying outside of the kingdom, no matter what you do… This article will bring a pointer I learned yesterday… Read it if you are yourself a victim of this, or if you have people in your life who treat you and your gifts with no appreciation.

It seems that I have written full or partial articles by the bushel (lol) and they were never published. Continue reading “Why are you inattentive, unappreciative and ungrateful? Not a character defect! A surprising answer…”

People who make fast and good decisions, go further in life. Success loves speed

Since the last article, I’ve kept on poking at simplicity… and the idea of decision making came up… fast and furious. I didn’t expect it.

Like everything else, this rabbit hole is a mile deep, but I can see that the benefits of seeing what’s there are priceless… People who make fast and good decisions, go further in life.

Success loves speed. 1Risky career moves, what-was-I-thinking relationships, and just about every ’80s fashion trend–most of us have made bad decisions in our lives. And while we’re supposed to learn from our mistakes, living with the outcome of a bad decision doesn’t necessarily mean that we’re immune to repeating it.

Getting caught up in the “what worked before” mindset or being too impressed with your own success are common pitfalls.“

When J.K. Rowling sent the first Harry Potter book to U.S. and U.K. publishers, they all turned it down because they knew what wouldn’t work: What didn’t work was a book of that size. What didn’t work was a book for boys. What didn’t work was fantasy, ” Hertz says. “What it took was a new director who was new to publishing to buy the book.”

Look at your history.
