The dominant forceful way you are killing life.

If you pay attention: you won’t want to read this post. You won’t want to know what keeps your vibration low. You are scanning the internet, the horizon, the people around you for feedback: that you are already all you can be.

This ‘not wanting to‘ is essentially what I am talking about in this article, this insistence, this forcefulness.

bad newsBad news. On my way home, climbing the long stairway off Euclid Avenue, I was listening to Step 21 of the 67 Steps. It’s about the superpower of being able to get into a relationship with people. Get into a relationship because you can see how their machine works. and because you see it, therefore you can speak their language.

Everything comes to you through people… and…

…you cannot get more abundance than what your people skills allow you to have.

I have been resigned about my ability to get better at dealing with people.

Hi Sophie,

I’m still here in the thick of these holidays, holiday that I don’t even like. Still visiting friends. Having house guests. Feeling myself become more and more discombobulated.

I started to feel myself beginning to panic the way I used to. Thinking ‘I’m falling behind!‘. ‘I want to get back to my 67 steps!‘. ‘Sophie will wonder where I disappeared to!‘. ‘my vibration is sinking!‘. ‘I am out of my routine, the sky is falling!

Coming from vs Going to: you’ve always been going to

Summary: from the comments and email I am getting it is clear that the concept of starting with HAPPY is totally inconceivable to most of you. In my response to a comment I managed to express the essence of it: It is like the skin color you have, it is part of you.

In the ‘HAPPY’ I advocate, where you start with HAPPY, stay HAPPY, end HAPPY.

It’s not a result. It is who you are.

You do what needs to get done to grow, and you are HAPPY while doing it. You are not ‘happy’ to do it, that would be something else again. You are HAPPY, just like you don’t change your skin color according to the type of task you do in life. You stay white, or pink, or yellow, or black… whatever you started with.

In most activities, the goal, the context of the activity is at least two-fold.

Let’s see how it is through a few examples:

You want to Lose weight:

Losing weight can come from wanting to lose weight to look better, feel better, fight off diabetes, etc. And losing weight can come from wanting to take back control of your life: live according to your will instead of your whim.

You want to win a football game:

  1. to look good, be celebrated, make lots of money
  2. to be the best you can be at something you love
  3. or to be part of the winning team

What do I intend to leave behind as my legacy?

You live a sheltered life. Either restricted to a small area of the world physically, or to a small area of the world experientially.

So you, just like your cone of vision would predict, have a very narrow slice of reality (the pizza pie) ever seen, heard of, played in, experienced.

One of my 67 step coaching clients says in her reports, on average 10 times each report ‘Wow! I have never thought of that’. ‘I have never considered that’. ‘Hm, I’ve never heard that before’.
