the renaming technique to raise your vibrationHow, in 20 minutes, I altered my future, and how you can do it (easy) yourself. Oh, and I also raised my vibration, noticeably.

There is a Landmark Education 1 distinction called “Your probable, almost certain future.”

They teach it in the Advanced Course, because beginners are almost certainly not willing to look at where their lives are heading in such a certain fashion. Even advanced students lie, pretend, avoid, so they also avoid having a breakthrough.

Imagine your life being a train on laid down tracks. It’s heading towards its designated future at 100 miles an hour. You can look out the windows, you can pull down the shades, you can read, watch TV… whatever.

None of these activities will matter, you life will end up where it’s heading… unless.

You are is resigned and cynical. That’s who does your life

everything worth doing is against the wind. going with the wind? you are goind down the drain...I just had an interesting interaction with my buddy, Source.

I have been under the weather, my heart is ailing, and I have been giving a lot of thought to dying… and the things a responsible person does to make their dying easier on the people they leave behind.

I am doing what Source suggested I did to get well, and it is not happening fast enough… lol. Continue reading “You are is resigned and cynical. That’s who does your life”

What makes you a slacker? or a never do well?

What makes you a slacker?
The smarter you fancy yourself, the stupider your behavior. The big picture of your life…

This article is slightly philosophical, I cycle through many ideas to get to a conclusion that makes a difference. You can jump to the end, to the conclusion, and we’ll know what you are… This article is about you.

Life’s way is to handle one thing at a time… make it work and keep it working. Then, when it’s working reliably, Life will start on the next thing.

Most of Life is continuing… not starting. Or modifying and continuing. Or adding and removing. But continuing… Getting better and better. Growing. Continue reading “What makes you a slacker? or a never do well?”

What’s blocking you from having a fulfilled life?

What’s blocking you from having a fulfilled life?

orphaned fawnDon’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and
do that. Because what the world needs is people who come alive. ~Nelson Mandela

There is a word in Hungarian. It is very expressive, a word I ponder… a lot.

It is “elanyatlanodik”. If I want to translate, so I don’t lose the root, it means becoming a motherless orphan.

The word indicates that a child, at any age, goes through a fundamental loss when they lose the mother.

Half of my students, in some emotional way, lost their mother, the other half would have been better off losing their mother.

What do I mean? Continue reading “What’s blocking you from having a fulfilled life?”

Turning back the clock from misery to a life worth living.

Turning back the clock from misery to a life worth living.

Imagine that you find yourself in Los Angeles… and then you find out that your meeting was in Seattle… and you took the wrong plane.

If it happened, you would hop on another plane, or in the worst case rent a car and zoom up parallel to the Pacific Ocean, and voila you would arrive to Seattle… tired, but you would be there.

When evolution has taken the wrong “airplane”, let’s not worry if it was hijacked or not, you don’t have the luxury to take another plane, or rent a car…

You have to go back to where evolution took the wrong turn, and take a different path.

The grand experiment I am engaged in, is about that. Continue reading “Turning back the clock from misery to a life worth living.”

Self-awareness: what is it and why is it crucial to have it?

Self-awareness: what is it and why is it crucial to have it?

Self-awareness is the rarest of all the human virtues. Why? because it is all inner. . . and unless you have it you won’t even know you have it. And unless you grow it, you can’t change.

This is one of the things I measure in the Starting Point Measurements.

The numbers I get are between 3% and 20%, with 20% is being rare: I only found, so far, one person with that level of awareness.

So what can you notice if and when you are self-aware? Continue reading “Self-awareness: what is it and why is it crucial to have it?”

What a nice cup of coffee has to do with having a Self?

What a nice cup of coffee has to do with having a Self?
How much voice do YOU have in the chorus of the voices that live in your head?

It’s Thursday morning, and I am starting a new experiment.

Yesterday I discovered that I have no idea what it is like to eat when you have an appetite. I observed myself, and I solely eat, have been eating, for taste. Texture. The mouthfeel.

But my physiology wants me to eat for appetite. 2 Bummer, I don’t know the first thing about appetite… 🙁
.
I look at different languages to get a clue… In Hungarian appetite, the word, says “the desire to eat”. Hm. In other languages there are appetizers… that grow that desire to eat, or maybe to wake up the dormant desire? Continue reading “What a nice cup of coffee has to do with having a Self?”

You can have everything, but not at the same time…

Look how hard I try! Look how good I am!

You can have everything, but not at the same time…

In certain areas of life it is obvious… Like eating sugary stuff and weight loss…

But in this work, the work of causing human evolution, from human to human being, I don’t address many obvious things, because the secret of evolution is in the invisible domain. Continue reading “You can have everything, but not at the same time…”

Focus on the things you can control… but what can you?

Focus on the things you can control… but what can you?

things you can controlYou can only control what belongs to you… Your thoughts, your feelings, your emotions don’t belong to you. Your actions, your attitude, what you actually heed, what you say… they do belong to you.

They are interestingly difficult to see… they are hidden from your view, overcrowded by noise.

We call these here: invisible dynamics. They are tiny machines, their behavior is predictable, manageable, and their effect on your life are detrimental. Continue reading “Focus on the things you can control… but what can you?”

The Carrot and Stick Method, or what’s between you and doing what you need to do, want to do, dream of doing?

New research seems to indicate that brain chemicals may control behavior and for people to learn and adapt in the world, both punishment and reward may be necessary. This is an article from 2013… as valid as it was then…

The signup to the Carrot and Stick webinars has started. This has prompted me to write this article.

Most of us, thinking that we are machines that can be operated by anyone, think that just by finding the switch, we’ll be able to do the things we haven’t been able to do, haven’t been willing to do, haven’t been liking to do.
