Judgment: What is judgment? what is it really? The whole picture…

Judgment

Update: When we are on a lower level of consciousness, we think it is all about us. What we do, what other people say, our results… everything. So our “self” is always in danger of falling off its pedestal, and we feel that with it we die.

The reason: we can’t tell, we don’t even think, that we and our actions are not the same. We can’t see that we do something, and the results of those actions don’t change who we are… there is no real connection. The results are the results, you are you, no connection. Are you using your adult capacities?

babies capacities match their ageThe first Osho book I have ever read, was Maturity. I started to read it in the store, and fell in love with it.

It echoed one of my favorite Landmark Education courses, the Wisdom Course.

In that course, maturity was a state (they call it possibility, just a Landmark Education word!): where you were using adult capacities to live your life.

One would think that when you are an adult you use your adult capacities, but that is not the case.

Review: Is Andy Shaw’s book, A Bug Free Mind a fraud? Will you get successful reading it?

bug-free-mindThe original post was written BEFORE I got my copy of The Bug Free Mind book from Andy Shaw. This is the actual review:

I knew it was worth reading, (muscletested it, of course) but I had no idea why. The truth value sounds like not enough, but compared to others’ truth value, it is at least twice, and what may be even more important: it talks about things, it makes you think about things that no one else does… except me.

Many people grieve continuously. What do you grieve for? Is it grief or is it depression?

grieving lossBelieve it or not, grieving 1 is ALWAYS for what could have been. For the loss of a future.

Whether it is in a relationship, or adventure, or riches, or living a fulfilled life. Opportunities missed, a life missed.

If feels like an occasional hiccup like desire to weep, hiccup from a deep sorrow base.

Judgment vs observation, surrender vs resistance?

Judgment vs observation, surrender vs resistance?

A bug free mind reader question. How to tell judgment from observation, surrender from resistance?

As I mentioned in a previous article, the Bug Free books** 2 can be your kindergarten, elementary school and maybe even your college… Then you need, if you are ambitious enough, if you have done well enough in those grades, you can start working with me.

Yesterday I had a session with a student, and that really drove it home for me.

Attending a class with me gives you the instant illusion that you have learned something. That you know something.

The sentence that was worth $100

quotes-about-consciousnessquotelevel-of-consciousnessyour-conscious-levelSometimes it is worth buying a book for $100 that has one sentence… the rest is gravy.

The sentence that was worth the $100 is:

If you are angry at a person who is unconscious, is like being angry at a dog for being a dog.

And at another place

Awakenings… your one way out of the misery

Awakenings… your one way out of the misery
There have been several awakenings in my life.
  • The first potential awakening was when I was 22 years old. I had been in the mental hospital for two weeks and my condition didn’t get better, no matter what they did to me.

They even tried to use insulin shock therapy on me… that’s really bad, if you want to know the truth.

Then, as a last resort, they sent me to the “showers” that you should know from the Cuckoo’s nest movie… halfway though the “showers” I snapped out of it. There I was stark naked, and the misery wasn’t me, it wasn’t even mine.

Gossip and the two wolves: good and evil.

do-not-gossipWhat is choice, really? Do you ever choose? Probably not.

Choice: Selecting freely, AFTER consideration

I think, at some point in our lives we decide whether we want to be good or bad.

I decided twice. The first time I decided that somebody had to pay for my misery… and the only way to have them pay, whether they were guilty or not, is to be bad.

Then, when I learned the art and power of taking responsibility, of pulling the power to myself, I made a new decision, I decided to be on the side of good.
