Charlie Munger… quotes

charlie-mungerCharlie Munger was a college dropout who served as a meteorologist in the US Army Air Corps before graduating from Harvard Law.

And then he met Warren Buffett.

The rest is history.

As vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, Munger is Buffett’s right-hand man. He has an estimated net worth of $1.19 billion.

Like Buffett, Munger is incredibly sharp in his wit and investing wisdom. You might even argue that his words are more blunt and unfiltered than Buffett’s.

We compiled a list of Munger’s most insightful quotes about investing, business, and life.

Check them out below:

overestimating-your-intelligence-could-be-a-major-pitfallOverestimating your intelligence could be a major pitfall.

If you think your IQ is 160 but it’s 150, you’re a disaster. It’s much better to have a 130 IQ and think it’s 120. Continue reading “Charlie Munger… quotes”

Where are the answers? Within or without?

I already know, I don't have to lookI spend time observing visitors’ behavior on my site. I wonder why they want to learn to connect to Source… I wonder why they want to know their vibration. I wonder why they come at all…

Finally, today, at least one of those questions got answered in one of Tai Lopez‘ emails… I’ll publish it here, and then I’ll comment.

He asks:

Are the answers within you?

The other day I was reading one of the greatest books of all time: The Analects by Confucius 1

One line in Book 15 stuck out, “I once did not eat all day and did not sleep all night in order to think, but there was no benefit. It would have been better to study.”

It reminded me of a lie so many of us have bought into – that all the answers are “inside of us.”

Confucius says that’s a bunch of B.S.

The answers are not within us. They are OUTSIDE of us – they are external.

Did you have a long holiday? lot of time with family?

Did you have a long holiday? lot of time with family?
Some capacities, especially the ones that are your main soul correction capacities, are hard to keep on.

What does Source have to say about that?

There are different reasons.

Reason #1: You need more capacities turned on before you can tackle the “big one”.

Any capacity dealing with your Dark Side has huge support from the Dark Side, namely the Opponent. Continue reading “Did you have a long holiday? lot of time with family?”

Goal setting and other usual activities for January…

Goal setting and other usual activities for January…

You may want to teach what you need to learn. Why? Because that way you can teach from your own learning experience, instead of tree of knowledge.

So far so good… but…

Some things lie just outside of your reach… you can never really learn them, I think. Continue reading “Goal setting and other usual activities for January…”

What would Sophie say? What would Sophie do?

What would Sophie say? What would Sophie do?

This is a little nifty test to see if you’ve been listening to what I say with your mind, integrating it into what you already know, or with your whole being… If you learned words or if you learned beingness.

When in doubt, when in trouble, when you have a moment of clarity, ask yourself: What would Sophie say? What would Sophie do?

If you have an instant insight, it says one thing. If you are searching in your memory banks: it says another thing. And if you come up blank, that is yet another thing.

I sometimes do that, myself. Why? because Sophie, in these questions, is a consciousness. An active consciousness. A way to look at the world. An attitude. A fresh view of life. A view that is not limited by your personal interest, your group interest, but involves your higher consciousness interest.

What holds you back?

different-strokesI have been wondering what is the real reason behind many of you

1. coming back and reading the articles for years, yet never actually buying anything
2. buying stuff but not using them

I watched a video today, aimed at hypnotherapists.

The similarity between hypnotherapy and what I do is that most of what happens happens in the invisible realm. And what comes up is fear… doesn’t it?

What if she blah blah blah, fill in the blank with your fear.

In this article I want to honor the people who can’t even get themselves into the position to actually try… try and succeed, try and fail, but at least give it a shot.

Are your actions effective? Constructive? And if not, why?

Are your actions effective? Constructive? And if not, why?

instead of massive action, it is take effective actionsThis may be the most important article for you to read… Don’t complain that I didn’t warn you!

One of the things mainstream (all the gurus) get wrong is this: they consider you a constant in opportunities. Constant as in fixed… As if you were the same when you are afraid, and when you are confident…

You are not constant until you are on the vibrational level of above 900. How do I know? Because I can see the difference in me and in my ability to act constructively, even though I am above 900. Continue reading “Are your actions effective? Constructive? And if not, why?”

What did Genghis Khan do to raise his people’s IQ?

What did Genghis Khan do to raise his people’s IQ?

borte abductedWhat did Genghis Khan, the greatest conqueror in history do to raise his people’s IQ?

I have been reading about the Mongols, the nomadic people that occupied lands and people in the 13th century, from the Pacific Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea, in the 13th Century under Genghis Khan.

99% of those Mongols didn’t read, didn’t write. Their average IQ (my measurement) was the same as college educated people’s today. Their available IQ was 90%, as opposed to today’s college educated people, whose available IQ is less than 80%. Which means, those Mongols were more intelligent than you. Ugh, that hurts.

What is the secret difference between them and you, that they were able to conquer and you are not? And what could you borrow from them, even though you are not a steppe warrior?

Here are my insights that I hope will be useful for you today:

If you asked a tree if it knows what it’s doing

Vincent_van_Gogh_Starry_NightIf you asked a tree if it knows what it’s doing, it would say: “No. I am just going to do the next thing that seems like the next step.”

That doesn’t mean the tree doesn’t have a vision. It does. Every tree’s vision is to compete with the stars. It is what they want to do.

And they do it on the level and in the format that is programmed into their DNA… some trees are tall, other trees are wide, yet other trees are dwarfs… because you can compete with the stars wherever you are, however you are.

I am a lot like a tree: I have a vision for everything I do, but no plan. No blueprint. Just a sense of what is the next thing that seems like the next step.

Maddening, I know. But, if you pay attention, I get a lot done this way, a lot more than you with your big plans that you are not working on.

One secret…
