I am learning something I hoped I’d never learn…

I am learning something I hoped I’d never learn…

People, when they are diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, they are willing to change what got them to have that disease.

Temporarily.

With only a few exceptions. My younger brother is one… He had a triple bypass AND gall stones a few years ago. About 10 years ago.

He dropped all his access weight, started to move a whole lot more, started to eat differently… for a while.

I just measured his health measurements… and he is not well… again. Continue reading “I am learning something I hoped I’d never learn…”

Responsibility: what can you be responsible for?

Responsibility: what can you be responsible for?

Sophie, I loved your Legrande coaching call. It was incredible. I still cant get over it how much lessons in there that were so amazing.

When you say the only thing we are responsible for is an attitude and action do you mean ours only? Continue reading “Responsibility: what can you be responsible for?”

Self-trust… a linchpin capacity… can you develop it?

Self-trust… a linchpin capacity… can you develop it?

scared-to-take-the-next-stepHow do you develop yourself to be able to move forward? To grow?

Many of my coaching students are at a crucial point in their lives where unless something happens, they probably won’t move forward.

Fear, unclarity, self-centeredness, belligerence…

The main attitude is different for each person. Not one person resembles another in what seems to block their path.

A perfect example of the Anna Karenina Principle: a deficiency in any one of a number of factors dooms an endeavor to failure. All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way

All people who move forward are alike. All stuck people are stuck in their own way.

1 thing, 1 principle, 1 distinction: turn your life around

1 thing, 1 principle, 1 distinction: turn your life around

One of the crucial steps in the 67 steps, is Step #26. It’s about having both belts and suspenders so you always have something to hold up your pants… your life… your health… And your relationships… your livelihood. That step is a step that has been paying me dividends for years now.

Having both a best and a suspender is a distinction…

It began when I first heard it. In 2016. Continue reading “1 thing, 1 principle, 1 distinction: turn your life around”

Be a fly on the wall observing me self-coaching

Be a fly on the wall observing me self-coaching

This article has two parts:

  • In part one I coach myself to be able to make a decision if I want to spend the money and the time to sign up and do a course creators’ course. I am undecided… and that is, being on the fence is not good for me… So I want to make a decision and be done with it.
  • In part two I’ll look again at the idea of living, what it takes. The skill aspect. Inner skills and outer skills. You can skip to part two if you don’t want to follow my self-coaching method…
Here we go: part one: self coaching

I want to make a decision on the course creators’ course with artificial intelligence… Continue reading “Be a fly on the wall observing me self-coaching”

That sinking feeling in your stomach. Is it real?

That sinking feeling in your stomach. Is it real?

That sinking feeling… the feeling that you don’t measure up. The feeling of impending doom. Of being found out… The fear of death…

I just read an article in the New York Times, and ended up having that sinking feeling in my stomach.

I don’t often have it myself, that sinking feeling in my stomach. but I experience it from students on the calls, so I decided to investigate. Continue reading “That sinking feeling in your stomach. Is it real?”

Why knowing your Self is the rock of change?

Why knowing your Self is the rock of change?

I have read Robert Fritz’s books… and took out one gem of each.

The oscillating structures from ‘The Path of Least Resistance’, I forgot what it was of ‘Creating’.

But the most valuable nugget was from the book ‘Corporate Tides’.

Even though it is about changing corporations, corporate culture, it felt more truthful about individuals to me.

It says, simply put, what some other sage said: When you want to change something, don’t deal with what you want to change. Instead build something you want to strengthen. Continue reading “Why knowing your Self is the rock of change?”

How well do you know yourself? And do you like yourself?

How well do you know yourself? And do you like yourself?

How well do you know yourself? And do you like yourself?

When I was about 20, still a full time student, I had a guy. He wasn’t even a boy friend, just a guy I liked. We had casual sex. Then he met a girl who he said was a nymphomaniac, and he never had anything to do with me again.

Fast forward 30 years…

I was living with this dude, who would spend whole nights with this other woman… come home only to change clothes for work. Continue reading “How well do you know yourself? And do you like yourself?”

Let’s look deeper to see what consciousness really may be

Let’s look deeper to see what consciousness really may be

Let’s talk about the planes of existence… Where we live where consciousness can come from… shall we?

A plane is like a whole world, where certain things are obvious, certain things are possible, while other things aren’t even possible.

The two main planes I know of are the horizontal and the vertical plane. Continue reading “Let’s look deeper to see what consciousness really may be”

For you everything is the same as everything else…

For you everything is the same as everything else…

For you everything is the same as everything else…

Or said in a different way: you can’t tell the forest from the trees.
You can’t tell your ass from a hole in the ground
You can’t see the big picture

All mean the same: you can’t see distinction.

When you are a student, you use the jargon, but you don’t see what it means. You use it thinking that saying the word means you can see it, you can be guided by it…

I took to distinctions like fish takes to water.

Because of that it never made sense to me what’s the problem. Continue reading “For you everything is the same as everything else…”
