The poisonous tree that you are. What can you do about it?

The poisonous tree that you are. What can you do about it?

nothing-in-life-is-to-be-fearedNothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. —Marie Curie, Our Precarious Habitat

The ‘What’s The Truth About You’ workshop series is kicking off this afternoon.

As usual I haven’t done any preparation: I never do. I like my life, I like my teaching fluid. Freezing it would be to ignore guidance, stop growing, and start becoming a sculpture on a pedestal.

I slept well last night. I had a ton of guiding dreams. All about what I am trying to do in the workshop this afternoon: take you over the threshold between human and human being. Continue reading “The poisonous tree that you are. What can you do about it?”

You can have anything but not at the same time

4 door sports car: being a winnerLife, happiness, well-being, prosperity is achieved and maintained only on a narrow and hemmed-in path (the strait), the opposite of what you wish it were, the opposite you see others have, the opposite you see on television, on ads.

You have been duped. You have swallowed the lie, hook, line and sinker and you have been paying the price.

Your life is empty, purposeless, meaningless, and you have nothing to look forward to.

Last night I was pondering, instead of sleeping, 1 what is the behavioral, emotional age of all humans.

I came up with seven. Seven years old.

Learning lessons the hard way or the easy way: choose

Learning lessons the hard way or the easy way: choose

Learning lessons and growing through them… seems to be how life works.

But most of us don’t think of life like that, and therefore we never learn…

Even though learning may be the name of the game… really.

  • In life you can make the same mistake, over and over, expecting different results.
  • You can eventually learn from your mistakes, but you insist on making them a few times regardless…
  • You can learn from other people’s mistakes.

Are mind movies, vision boards mental representation?

Are mind movies, vision boards mental representation?

movie-mind-controlAre mind movies, vision boards mental representation?

Yes and no. Mind movies and vision boards are a mental representation of the end point of some fancy that you have… creative visualization or not so creative visualization. Low vibration, low consciousness, wishful thinking stuff. Continue reading “Are mind movies, vision boards mental representation?”

If you can’t move from A to B… The Too Direct Approach To Anything

hammer_break1I just finished watching a long (2 and a half hour long!) webinar, and one of the phrases that I want to borrow from there, is this: it’s not you, it’s your approach that makes you get less out of life than you could.

One of these approaches I see often that rob you of success is:

The Too Direct Approach To Things

One of the mistakes, one of the false beliefs, one of the erroneous ideas your paradigm gives you is to attempt to get from point A to point B through the straight, direct route.

But… No Problem Can Be Solved From The Same Level Of Consciousness That Created It 2

One of the most useful things I have ever done for myself

27learnfast2207One of the most useful things I have ever done is this:

I would find a mentor. I offered my services to do whatever needed done. More often than not I learned useful skills through the doing. Skills that I needed for myself. And while I was around the mentor, I could learn from him.

Life needs a lot of skills to do life successfully. The opportunities to learn those skills is sparse… Because skills are not knowledge, even if they are mental, intellectual skills: they are the ability to do, to perform a skill… not to understand it.

The capacity of seeing patterns…the threshold capacity

alberteinstein118979I am reading a book, Peak: Secrets from the New Science of Expertise. I am reading it because I want to be able to teach my students better, so they can leave behind the level of ordinary school learning, the pedestrian learning that always produces pedestrian result.

Amateurish performance, amateurish life. 3

The DNA, the blueprint that heralds the evolution of humans, the inactive 160 spiritual capacities, don’t become needed, and therefore won’t turn on, or won’t stay on, in a pedestrian, amateurish life where one doesn’t go consistently beyond their limits, intellectually, spiritually.

Healing… is that a negative word? Is that a sign of negativity?

negative-positiveDid you know that if you say: I need healing, what you are saying is that you are sick?

This includes inner healing, faith healing, etc…

And when you start from something wrong… like “I am sick”, you are on your way to create a context that is misery every step of the way.

If I needed to define what negativity is, it’s that “what is is wrong, and it needs to be fixed.”

Yesterday I was leading my Theta State training webinar, and I felt horrible. Partially, because I wasn’t feeling well myself. Partially because my students didn’t feel well. And yet partially because one of my students wrote to me, and I needed to feel their feelings stronger than they felt them… because I am an empath.

If you want the good life, you’ll need to “do” life differently

red-rock-coulee-c2a9-2012-christopher-martin-2406If you want the good life, you’ll need to learn some stuff, and unlearn some stuff… but most importantly you’ll have to learn how to and how not to… Remember the how? How you do anything is how you do everything… it is the approach, the attitude, the beingness.

There are a great many ways you can remain unaccomplished, and left behind in life.

Almost as many ways as many people. This is the Anna Karenina Principle.

As with everything, the strait and narrow works.

Most people don’t know that what keeps them off the strait and narrow is ideas they invented, made up, and now consider the truth.

One such idea is that unless you can jump tall buildings in one leap, you should just think about it, grieve about it, and do nothing.

Making choices: are you a rank amateur? A professional?

Making choices: are you a rank amateur? A professional?

This may be the most important article you read this year, this decade… because this article may inspire you to become a professional at living, instead of remaining a rank amateur… aka a bumbling idiot.

Risk Management

You have two options. You need to choose. You need to choose the option that has the lower cost to your reproductive success if it turns out to be wrong. Continue reading “Making choices: are you a rank amateur? A professional?”
