Doctor Who… how the doctor lost sight once

Doctor Who… how the doctor lost sight once

Why I love all the Doctors
I love Doctor Who… My favorite thing about the doctor is that he never forgets, never loses sight of the big picture… almost never.
In one of the episodes he does… and it is the episode I go back, and watch it again. To watch the transformation back and forth from doctor to stupid earthbound human back to doctor.
The Doctor is the best illustration I have for living out of the Observer, the Watcher… the part of you that doesn’t get entangled… that doesn’t lose sight of what you are about, what it is about. Brilliant.
1: Because he’s adorable when embarrassed, he’s always learning and growing, and he’s still very much a Time Lord.  Because he’s got precisely the reverse of Matt Smith going on: he’s young by the standards of his own species but old by ours, and it creates the most fascinating dynamic.

One principle of becoming a Human Being, that if you miss this, you’ll never raise your vibration

What is the difference between a worker and a manager?
What is the difference between the leader and a manager?
What is the difference between leading your life and managing your life?
What is the difference between working in your business and working ON your business?

The answer to all of these question is: the position from where the actions come.

By position I actually MEAN an almost physical position: where are you looking FROM when you make your decisions about what to do.

A lot of my students are stuck in a situation an earlier decision got them into. A bad marriage, bad health, bed relationship, bad job.

There are surprisingly few principles for a human being, which is the next evolutionary level after human. Applying the same principles, honoring them, will also take you to the new evolutionary level.

One of the principles is to make decisions from the whole. Continue reading “One principle of becoming a Human Being, that if you miss this, you’ll never raise your vibration”

No problem can be solved on the same level of consciousness that created it

monsters-inside-your-headNo problem can be solved on the same level of consciousness that created it. This sentence could be the cornerstone from which you finally raise your vibration, and become the person you were meant to be.

This article is crucial: if you get it, practice it until it becomes second nature, you’ll have taken the step to becoming a Human Being.

Many people search to understand the sentence in the title. Even understanding requires you to be on a different level of consciousness that created it.

You are asking because the consciousness is: a problem is wrong, it needs to be fixed.

The religion you live that keeps you in your mind and dumb

The religion you live that keeps you in your mind and dumb

This article is the beginning of an inquiry. An inquiry into how and why humanity evolved backwards. How humanity has lost the capacity and interest in using their brain for constructive thought, reasoning, questioning, inquiry. How come humanity hasn’t evolved the past 50 thousand years?

child-dog-kid-photografy-125142How come that humanity hasn’t evolved the past 50 thousand years? What is, what has been preventing it from naturally evolving, from going to the next stage of evolution where freedom, joy, is normal like breathing.

My personal vote goes for the lazy mind. The mind phenomenon that supposes that everything is already known, and all you have to do is find the person who knows the answer.

That you don’t need to think, research, compare, look at the big picture, all you have to do is accept the “truth” from whoever is offering it.

Do we really have free will? How would you know?

Do we really have free will? How would you know?

During my walk today I had a conversation with a young man who said hello. He was going to soccer practice. He told me which school he went to… and that is how it began.

Some ten years ago I had a neighbor, a woman, who had had a life of turmoil. Divorce, death of a child, alcoholism, bad friends. She had a niece stay with her. She went to the same school as this young man I spoke with today. Continue reading “Do we really have free will? How would you know?”

Seeing the big picture… a uniquely Human Being capacity

seeing-the-bigger-picture1Why is it so difficult to see the big picture?

Seeing the big picture has three dimensions, maybe four.

  1. seeing wide: Instead of locking onto a detail, you see the environment inside which the detail is. This is possible the moment you ALLOW what is to be.
  2. seeing from high: Most things unfold over time, much like traveling on a windy river… you don’t know what is coming beyond the bend, if it is friend or foe. This is one of the problems in making things happen: it is near impossible to be prepared for eventualities you can’t predict.

Chronic issues, no answers? Some questions are answered here…

chronic health issues no answersLife, nature, growth are chaotic, and non-linear

Your thinking, your mind, on the other hand is linear.

When it asks the question “why” it expects a linear answer.

But, of course, any and all linear answers are wrong. Garbage in-garbage out. The answer can’t be better than the question.

The only way to see even just a fragment of the complexity of causes and effects is to practice keeping many plates spinning at the same time… to use a juggler analogy.

Instead, you multitask… which is trying to keep a plate spinning, a ball rolling, etc… impossible.

Are you a match to life? If not: Allowing is missing.

Are you a match to life? If not: Allowing is missing.

whatever you don't allow is what will continueIt’s even obvious to you that allowing is missing… But how do you activate the capacity of allowing, and then how do you make the capacity a working skill?

Allowing is what’s between you and serenity. I don’t mean happiness, because happiness has its roller coaster nature: happiness has unhappiness as its shadow. You can only get happiness if you are willing to have unhappiness.

Allowing is letting it be. And although you may feel the urge to change it, fix it, kill it, hide it, hide from it, allowing is authentically allowing something to be, and gain your own beingness.

Without allowing you have no access to beingness.

How to beat the “I don’t know what to do…” and “I don’t know how…”

A combination of enthusiasm with a lack of experience meant that Steve was always leaping to contusions.I have ten unfinished articles on my desktop. It doesn’t feel I have enough to say in any of them to make them a real article.

This one is starting out the same way, to become an unfinished article. I don’t know what to say. I don’t know how to make it a good article.

The base of this article an insight I had just now, five minutes ago.

The situation was: I have been screwing up everything I touched today. Watch my language, by the way.

So, I told myself: “Don’t be a jumping jack. Look before you leap.”

I closed my eyes, and I heard the little voice say: “I don’t know what to look at!” Whiny tone, imagine a 3 year old saying it.
