Food allergies… does Source know all the answers?

Egg white is an allergenThere are good days, there are bad days, and there are days when I am hit with stuff I consider bad. Blech.

Today is one of those.

And days like this are a great test if in fact my TLD is as high as I claim as it is. TLD is your Twitchy Little Bastards’ score: how much pain you are willing to take for a delayed benefit.

Where TLD comes in? I find myself already running. I want to take a nap. I want to eat. I want to go unconscious.

Why? Because bad news is not pleasant. And more than that: I need to say it publicly.

I am scared, and I want to hide.

But I am going to swallow the frog (or was it kissing it?) and tell you what’s going on.

The hockey stick graph: your TLB score is on it… and you are likely in the 99%. Why?

your tld score is on a hockey stick graphLearn something and a whole world of learning opens up…

I had the first breakthrough in my 67 steps coaching…

Why only the first? Because most people do the 67 steps the way they do their lives: with their eyes closed, hoping for magic.

Hoping for either me doing the job for them, or the audios or the content of the audios doing the job for them. None of them can… it is not the content. It is what you do

So what happens if you do the 67 steps with your eyes open?

For a long time: not much. But then I’ll hear something, a direction, that I can push you towards. Some people get to this push-point sooner, others later. Most: never.

Your TLB score is the surest predictor. Not your IQ, not even your vibration. Your TLB score.

How the left brain blocks all your attempts to evolve as a person…

I am reading a book 1 that says that humans used to be able to live from their right-brain, meaning they were a lot more intelligent.

The book says that people with damage to their left brain can become savants, exceptional in one or two abilities, or vegetables… lol, maybe not so funny.

Then the book doesn’t talk about me, who did have damage to my left brain hemisphere, and when the brain was knocked self-conscious, the two hemispheres connected and became one.

The good news: I only have some troubles with my left-brain capacities, adding numbers wrong, confusing left and right, and dyslexia: reading what isn’t there, or when it’s bad: not being able to read at all.

The bad news: Your left brain works well, and it suppresses your right brain, the abilities that are beyond words… like being, feeling, knowing, seeing, patterns… all the things I am trying to teach you. My hunch that everything gurus, religions etc. say about the heart, it is really the right brain… And what they call the subconscious is also the right brain. Suppressed, of course, showing itself only occasionally on for a brief second…

Your left brain gets the words, filters out everything it considers garbage, and you are left with what you already knew.

That is the bad news.

Internal and external barriers to growth, changing, success, the good life

is it worth my time, given what I am up to?Is that a distraction? Does that get me closer to my target?

One of the big issue I see with people is this:

You have big desires… but you don’t consider doing the things you have to do to attain them worth your while.

Catch 22.

Your desire for comfort and doing nothing conflicts with your desire for what you say you desire.

Something has to give.

Many ways to be stuck: people who move are all alike

all-happy-familiesThis is paraphrasing the famous Leo Tolstoy quote: ‘All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.’ This is the Anna Karenina principle… As all principles do, it applies to many, maybe even all areas of life. A principle is the same as a distinction… I say.

There are only about 50 different ways to get stuck… and your way is just one or two of those.

How is living like writing a book? Good writing is re-writing…

writers-gif2Let’s observe how you write… and then we’ll see how you live your life.

Most people first-draft-people… they never re-write. Others carefully craft the format, but don’t touch what they said… the content. And then others wait until they think they have something profound to say… and that is rarely.

All good writing is re-writing. Both writing literature and “writing”, crafting your life, your story. 1 If you are not willing to write badly you are not willing to write well either. And if you can’t see that your first draft is bad, you will never look at it again.

In this article I’ll focus on the category who is afraid to take actions that would re-write their life… they stick with the first draft.

Life is pain. Anyone who says differently is lying

discover-the-oceanWith some movies I ponder for years why I liked it.

One of these movies is The Princess Bride. Why do I love The Princess Bride? Why do I watch it a few times a year, especially when my energy level is low?

Because, for me, the movie is about persistence. It’s about working towards something remote and maybe even impossible, and yet…

There are a ton of amazing quotable sayings in that movie… here is one:

Buttercup: You mock my pain!
Man in Black: Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something.

The quality of your life boils down to action and patterns

If nothing changes. the future is predictableThe current state of human intelligence… and I mean the overall intelligence, can be easily tracked on detective movies… British ones are more honest than American movies.

As you may know, I like to watch those… I learn from them as much as from any course, while I am entertained as well.

The quality of a person’s life, your life, boils down to actions… and each and every action is a result of a choice.

The accuracy of your actions is a function of how many patterns you recognize accurately in the world.

If nothing changes about you, your future is quite predictable… it is downhill from here…

How can I tell whether you likely voted for Trump?

What is the difference between someone who votes for the Republican nominee and the Democratic Party nominee

This is not the whole truth, there are lots of shades of gray, and yet, especially in the current elections, this is what I have observed on the people I had an opportunity to observe.

  • 1. The less distinctions someone had the more likely they voted for Trump.Distinctions are the patterns smart, intelligent people use to navigate life, to produce results, to tell truth from falsehood.Trump voters are almost blank in this regard. No distinctions… black and white.
  • 2. The less someone was willing, able or trust themselves to do anything for themselves other than scream bloody murder, the more likely they voted for Trump.

Never practice surgery on your family and other lessons

You have habits, thought patterns, beliefs, practices that guarantee that your life will not change, especially won’t change for the better.

When you do a course, read a book, or talk to a coach, you want to do and change the most important thing about your life: drop 30 pounds, start a new business, or leave your husband. Continue reading “Never practice surgery on your family and other lessons”
