Who, what is responsible for your health or the lack of it?

Who, what is responsible for your health or the lack of it?

A few comments and observations that have arisen from my offer to muscletest your health measurements for free.

If you think that past sins can be erased: you are probably mistaken about that.

Injuries, inner or outer, may leave you permanent disfigurement.

Pockmarks on your skin due to you not leaving your pimples alone is one example. The inner pockmarks due to indiscriminate eating are another. Continue reading “Who, what is responsible for your health or the lack of it?”

Til you yank the roots of your misery, you can’t get better

Til you yank the roots of your misery, you can’t get better
It’s like a root canal…

Until you yank the roots of your misery, you can’t get better.

Imagine that your tooth is your life. You don’t want to yank your life. that would mean dying. But you can yank the root, the part that makes it hurt…

Or you can self-medicate.

Take drugs,
Drink
Sex
numb yourself…
get religious. it will divert your attention from your life

All self-medications are harmful, because they cement the notion that how it is is wrong. Continue reading “Til you yank the roots of your misery, you can’t get better”

The key to the evolution of the human species discovered…

The key to the evolution of the human species discovered…
Can evolution be triggered? Caused? Midwifed?

In a lot of ways this has been a question, I think, for a long time. People who were ahead of their time asked this question, in one way or another.

So far there haven’t been any successful attempts at causing mass evolution. Maybe an individual, but not a group, or a species.

There are fairy tales of some incidents, but muscletest shows that they are just that: fairy tales.

One of them is the story of the Hundredth Monkey. Continue reading “The key to the evolution of the human species discovered…”

When someone says: get present: what do YOU mean by that?

When someone says: get present: what do YOU mean by that?

When someone says: get present… what do YOU mean by that?

I have noticed that people often know the ‘what’ but completely miss the ‘how’.

I am almost certain that when I say ‘how’, you don’t even know where to look.

And I am almost certain that that unawareness, that ignorance, that ‘I have no idea what you are talking about‘ came from your upbringing, from your parents. Continue reading “When someone says: get present: what do YOU mean by that?”

How reliable is your judgment? Are you judgmental? astute?

How reliable is your judgment? Are you judgmental? astute?
Astuteness means:

To judge something accurately, you need a lot of skills, spiritual capacities, including seeing the big picture, etc. You need to be able to tell similar things apart. You need to be astute. And you may need to be able to answer the question ‘But is he/it worth a damn?’

The originator of that question, But is he worth a damn? Tai Lopez looks for credentials, because they are easy to check. But when I go and check the truth value of the books he recommends, I find anything from 3% to 9%. and that is not worth a damn. Continue reading “How reliable is your judgment? Are you a frog, a turtle or a hare? Your results tell

Are you a frog, a turtle or a hare? Your results speak for themselves.

Blog_Boiling_FrogsHow do you cook frogs?

You put them in water. And then, slowly raise the temperature. So slowly that it is near imperceptible for the frogs. They will not jump out of the pot, because they won’t feel it.

The way you cook frog is the surest way to change.

Wild turns, jumps, dramatic workshops are dramatic, but ineffective.

Most things you want to change are stuck on the genetic level. All the behaviors are lined up neatly, like apples on an apple cart.

Once you allow something to be WRONG, you have some choices

Once you allow something to be WRONG, you have some choices

Calling something wrong is a complaint.

I drink a lot of tea. Tea needs brewing, and I hate tepid or cold tea, so I have a mug warmer. But it needs to be on.

Often I forget to turn it on.

Then I snap at myself ‘I am such an asshole’. And then laugh.

How can I be an asshole and brilliant as well?

This is what this article will be about: holding two opposing thoughts at the same time… Continue reading “Once you allow something to be WRONG, you have some choices”

What if it is really a 3-year old who is doing your life?

What if it is really a 3-year old who is doing your life?

I HATE non-fiction. Even in audio, listening to it. I hate being when someone lectures me. It makes my brain stop working.

And no matter what the book or course is teaching, I cannot tune in. Even when it is important to me. Why? I cannot feel that I matter to the speaker. And I need to feel that I matter or I switch off.

Whereas when I read novels, it feels like an honor and a privilege to get an over the shoulder private view of what’s happening. And what is happening, at least in the novels I read, is interesting to me. Because I am interested in people, interested in the world.

But not that interested in what non-fiction writers want to teach. They don’t manage to make me want to read it, even when I know I need what they teach. Or that what they teach would benefit me. Continue reading “What if it is really a 3-year old who is doing your life?”
