Already too busy? Stressed? Always busy? Always in a hurry? Trying to start a new project?

Stressed? Always busy? Always in a hurry?

These are all signs of you living on the competitive plane, the horizontal, the Valley of the Shadow of Death.

I have a book that I can see from my bed. It is called “The Life You Were Born To Live”

The title immediately creates desire and hurry

But the “You Were Born To Live” creates calmness and a quiet awareness. No hurry. No place to go. Just live.

Two words changed.

I notice that hurry causes incoherence (wires crossed) and comes also with incoherence. So the “there is no hurry on the creative plane” smooths out the incoherence, all the way to the spine… like magic. The breath comes back and becomes deep. Not just slowing down… a whole state change. From slave to master.

Now, when I add something to my “workload”, like a new project, as I have done this past week, I go through a period of incoherence, until I settle into a new stable strategy.

Disruption–>thought, experimentation, reorganization–>coherence.

You need to go through the phases.

Just like my brain got shaken loose by the audio back in 2003, your life can re-organize itself on a higher level of organization if you allow it time and opportunity to almost fall apart.

To create a higher level of organization, you need to create a new order that includes the new item.

You need to find a time-slot to do it. I am still in the middle of this process…

The first phase is when I am trying to do two things at a time, much like catching two items and dropping them both.

The new item feels more important, but the old item needs to get done…

Many people stop here, because the tension and pressure is quite unbearable.

Or alternatively neglect old items… and create a new level of incoherence: life seems to fall apart.

At this point I am giving the new project 20 minutes a day. Eventually, I think, I’ll be able to give it an hour or two… but not yet. By the time I am done with my “old” schedule, I am tired, mentally tired.

Instead of doing bad work that I’ll hate, being tired, I just do 20 minutes.

Next I’ll fit in 20 minutes in the morning as well… and allow it the wreak havoc for a while.

If you are not able to be with havoc and mayhem for a period of time, you won’t be able to grow.

All growth require you to reorganize yourself and your life on a higher level.

If you are a TLB 1, now you know why you are not growing. Your tolerance for mayhem is too low. And your level and capacity for organization is too low too.

Another issue that threatens you living on the creative plane is: comparison.

Something is more important than something else.

If you are doing something, but half of your being is not there, because you should be doing something else… this squarely puts you on the competitive plane, the plane of incoherence.

If something is more important then do that first!

But if both need to get done, then do one fully and then do the other fully.

You can never do a good job at anything if you are not fully doing it. Meaning: all of you. All your being. All your attention. All of you.

With Wallace D. Wattles words: Put all power in all action. 1 This is The Certain Way that is surely to put you on the winning path, and on the Creative Plane.

If your attitude is: “let me get through this so I can get to the good stuff” you live on the competitive plane and your life is crap. Get through work to get to vacation, get through vegetables to get to dessert, get through dinner so you can get to what you really wanted, get laid.

The “in order to life” is the wretched life most of you live.

A few weeks ago I was in the community van I use to get to the grocery store. The van had a lot of people to pick up. I was not able to disconnect from the driver’s energy, and it was killing me.

So when I had a chance to talk to him in private, I told him that his efforts to find shortcuts is going to cut his life by 10-20 years.

To my surprise he listened to me, and stopped trying to do shortcuts. His energy is 10 times better, he looks better, and he reclaimed those years.

Trying to find shortcuts is a sign of “I have to get through this to get to the good stuff”, and the competitive plane. A sure killer.

And shortcuts (or cutting corners) isn’t only in driving: it is everywhere.

I get an awful lot done in my day, because I am 100% with what I am doing.

The Avatar State Activator: All Power in All Action won’t do this for you, but it will make it easier.

“Beware the barrenness of a busy life.” ~Socrates
PS: Most people when they are hit with mayhem or havoc, they shrink, they hide, they go backwards. It is instinctive, animals do that. But armed with this new knowledge, please don’t shrink. Just reorganize. Simple, but not easy. 2

  1. Actually this is what he says, verbatim in The Science of Getting Rich: Power is at your service; and to make each act efficient you have only to put power into it.
Every action is either strong or weak; and when everyone is strong, you are acting in the Certain Way which will make you rich. Which means: he is combining b.s. and real science… boggles the mind.
  2. Here are what others say:

“Busy” used to be a fair description of the typical schedule. More and more, though, “busy” simply doesn’t cut it. “Busy” has been replaced with “too busy”

It’s like once you start saying yes to too much, you automatically keep doing it. It feels reckless, but you do it anyway. Let’s not fall into that trap.

I think you’re a liar. You may not be a liar, but I suspect you could be. I’m also a liar, at least I think I used to be. What makes both of us liars is …

It’s more about your mindset than anything else.

An excerpt from the new book Breaking Busy.

There are many ways to effectively manage stress, but you can do so only after you actually notice and admit that you are indeed too busy and too stressed out.

If the work you’re doing makes you feel busy, then the work you’re doing doesn’t truly matter to you. Work worth doing isn’t busy work. Stop being too busy.

Nobody cares how busy you are, they only care what you get done.
