Are you attracting or are you repelling? That is the question…

Are you attracting or are you repelling? That is the question…

Why is it that most people, you,  who believe in the Law of Attraction actually practice how to repel people and repel what you want?

99% of all people believe in the law of attraction… or some version of it…

People write to me all the time, asking me for something. They want something for nothing. Obviously they are adherents of the Law of Attraction: the law seems to be saying to the: you can attract to yourself things you want by just wanting them. Ask and it is given… or something of that sort. Or if you really desire it… blah blah blah.

I have a few secrets for you: the world doesn’t operate that way. In fact, the world operates closer to what Charlie Munger says: If you want to get what you want, you need to deserve what you want. Continue reading “Are you attracting or are you repelling? That is the question…”

Nature or nurture? Are you born a republican? a democrat?

Nature or nurture? Are you born a republican? a democrat?

Why is there such a sharp and irreconcilable difference between the right and the left in the world? The answer is in the invisible realm of reality…

There are many things I can measure in a human… while I am connected to Source. The language between Source (aka All-Knowledge, or the Zero point field) is muscletesting. It has a limited vocabulary: yes, no, and somewhat yes and somewhat no. And an occasional ‘I don’t know’ Continue reading “Nature or nurture? Are you born a republican? a democrat?”

We all have moments of brilliance. Moments…

We all have moments of brilliance. Moments…
follyIt only takes one slow-walking person in the grocery store to destroy the illusion that you’re a nice person.

And it only takes one ugly mistake to destroy the illusion that you are smart…

In preparation to my What’s the truth about you workshop this morning, I have been looking how to have the conversation about your delusions about who you are, how you are, and your abilities.

It’s a touchy issue… in fact 80% of humanity think themselves smarter than average, and smarter than they are. The remaining 16% don’t ever think about that or anything else, 4% think themselves less smart than they are. Continue reading “We all have moments of brilliance. Moments…”

The roller coaster of your inner life… the highs and the lows… Nerve wrecking

The roller coaster of your inner life… the highs and the lows… Nerve wrecking

People are starting to recognize themselves in my articles.

I often struggle to say things in a way that matches the inside language of people… How they say it to themselves.

For example this whole idea of the swinging back and forth between the delusional and the devalued opinion of yourself… Continue reading “The roller coaster of your inner life… the highs and the lows… Nerve wrecking”

You feel lonely because you build walls instead of bridges.

You feel lonely because you build walls instead of bridges.

Walls around you, walls between your two selves…

But how do you do it, and why do you do it? and how do you undo it?

It all comes from your story. Not what happened, but what you have been saying about it: the story.

I am very aware of my mortality… and my imminent demise. And what I am also very aware of is that no one really wants me to live, other than myself. But is that a story? Or is that the truth… It feels like the truth.

I was pondering this under the covers this morning. How neither of my brothers seem to care whether I am alive or dead. People I help need me because they need my help. But then I started to look at people who help me… and I was surprised to see that they would, at least for a time, miss me, and remember me fondly.

That surprised me. Continue reading “You feel lonely because you build walls instead of bridges.”

Worldview: are you trying to build a life on misery?

Worldview: are you trying to build a life on misery?

what is your worldview? If you ever decided that you wanted to live your life in a particular way, successful, joyful, productive, fulfilling, you would want to CHOOSE a worldview, a worldview that COULD create the perfect foundation for that type of life, the life of your choosing.

But you never decided… and you never chose. You have a worldview, or maybe a worldview has you…

Worldview is a particular interpretation of life, of creation, of power, of choice, of freedom. Of other people, of nature. Of what is important and what isn’t. Of what is agreed upon and what isn’t.

Depending on the worldview, only certain actions and certain things can be present. It’s like a stage in a play: you can’t put there stuff that doesn’t belong. That doesn’t have a role… On the stage, if there is a gun there, you can be sure it will be used during the story. I read that somewhere about Chekhov’s plays… Continue reading “Worldview: are you trying to build a life on misery?”

Removing Barriers to you being all-you-can-be

Removing Barriers to you being all-you-can-be

the subtle art of not giving a fuckI just read an excerpt of Mark Manson’s (vibration: 260) book, about the path to growing… The art of not giving a f*ck

Even the brief is worth reading…

Some people write better than me. Some people find solutions faster than me. Some people can teach ME things… Baah, right?

What Manson says is the essence of the Michelangelo Method of growing.

You remove everything that doesn’t work, everything that is not you, everything that doesn’t support you in living life you love and living it powerfully.

But the sticky part of this process is telling the truth about having been wrong. Continue reading “Removing Barriers to you being all-you-can-be”

The Tao of attraction, of anything. Business, love, respect, money…

The Tao of attraction, of anything. Business, love, respect, money…

I love watching movies, I love reading, I am a half introvert half extrovert person.

I have met someone (Ben Settle) with similar personality, to adopt as a teacher. I start my day with reading his email. And I always find some way to become bigger from it.

On some level, in some aspect, you need to be the same as your teacher, or you won’t let them get through to you… My parents were both so different from me, that I learned only two sentences worth from them, both from my father.

One of his teaching was a sentence that I misunderstood for at least 50 years… until I got what he meant.

He said:

let it go… it will pass that much sooner.

Only fools think they can get heat from a cold stove…

ringI put all my knowledge into my articles. I hold nothing back. I am not afraid that it cheapens my brand, that the knowledge will be, suddenly had by everyone, and I’ll have nothing to sell.

Why?

I read articles on other sites, and they are quite inane, with a nugget of gold here and there, but even that nugget is rare. And hidden.

When I realized that I was in the marketing and selling business in 1998, 21 years ago, I was in for a long and very slowly rising learning curve.

I bought courses, in-person, online, and most courses, if I could glean a nugget, I was lucky. Most courses I didn’t glean any knowledge. Why? Am I stupid? No. What was wrong with me that I spent tens of thousands of dollars and didn’t get the results I paid for?

I think I was one of those fools who think that they can get heat from a cold stove. Continue reading “Only fools think they can get heat from a cold stove…”

Small thinking always indicates a small life, small opportunities, low vibration.

judgment is like looking in a mirrorBut it’s so “normal” to be a small thinker, that many people think they are big thinkers because they have big pie-in-the-sky desires.

What is a pie-in-the-sky desire? It is an end goal to which there is no ladder and there is no intention to build one.

One of the things I measure in the Starting Point Measurements is the size of your desire vs. the size of your ambition.

People with sky high desire entertain pie in the sky goals.

The easiest “test” to find out is to ask them to do the skill-finder process from the book “What Color is Your ParachutE” that has been published, I guess, for 50 years? OK… I just checked, for 49 years. Continue reading “Small thinking always indicates a small life, small opportunities, low vibration.”
