I am watching The Incredible Hulk (2008 With Edward Norton).

I have jumped up and paused the movie every five minutes so far… And I have been pondering why.

I can read two-three-four hours without jumping up…

And suddenly I realized: a movie forces itself, forces its speed, forces its ‘don’t think just take what I want you to think‘ attitude on you, so you don’t have any time to digest, to ponder, to have a say. None.

It is what it is

The hardest thing for anyone is to allow things to be the way they are and allow people to be the way they are, without loss of respect, without calling it or calling them wrong.

I have had to deal with that for at least 40 years… But I think I finally can.

I realized the vast differences in my students in the 67 step coaching program. I realized that each and every one of them are on the level they are. Do you think that the words spoken in your head are your beliefs?

What words? you say.

That ‘what words?’ was two of those words. The words that are spoken in your head.

There is a whole lot of talking that seems to be going on in your head, and if you think it is you, then they accomplished what they intended: you become a puppet on a string. Word-string.

There is no such thing as a belief, and those words are NOT belief.

The invisible undercurrent that is running your life

The invisible undercurrent, undertow of self-made rules… Or if you prefer, the invisible strings that move the puppet…

What they talk about when they say ‘there are known knowns… etc.’

Donald Rumsfeld stated:

Reports that say that something hasn’t happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don’t know we don’t know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tend to be the difficult ones.

He definitely said that differently than how we mean it, and yet he worded in a way that makes sense to most people, so I am quoting him.

So what unknown unknowns are we talking about?

Why is it that you can’t tell if somebody is smart or not? You can’t tell you are smart… or not either. It is because in the dark all cats are gray

One of the most surprising thing in the world of humans is that humans can’t tell if they are smart or not. This error leads to lives that are not fulfilled. Lives that are filled with fear, trepidation, or on the other extreme: boasting and disappointment.

This is a horrible thing. Do you know what is the worst thing about me for me?
