Your health and your soul correction: what’s the connection?

Your health and your soul correction: what’s the connection?

More often than not, what makes you sick, ill, is you doing what you feel will make you feel better.

No discipline, and very narrow cone of vision.

Let’s look at that: what you think is making you well, or going to make you well.

What is there is low tolerance or no tolerance to feel how you feel. No willingness to be present, to observe it, to let it talk. You react.

TLB is the degree that you are reactive. Twitchy Little Bastard… TLB. Continue reading “Your health and your soul correction: what’s the connection?”

We are all in business one way or another.

We are all in business one way or another.

What is business? The purpose of a business is to get a customer.

Customer means: someone we sell something. Ourselves, a product, our time… our knowledge… our pretenses… our lies.

So, ultimately we are all in business, and we all have others who want what we have… Here is an older article of mine about who is your customer…our customer. A really useful way to look at life and at your relationships.

OK, now with that established, I can repeat what I heard yesterday… and it will make sense to you. Continue reading “We are all in business one way or another.”

Method to my madness: how I get you there Part 2

Method to my madness: how I get you there Part 2

In my last article spoke of the methodology of poking the box. Poking the box so what I don’t know that I don’t know can pop out and make itself known.

It only works when I NEED to know why something doesn’t work and how it could. Idle curiosity doesn’t activate it.

Having a very sick client who can’t let go of her hero act has been one thing that created a real need. An unless. Do or die. Also urgent. That unless I can find out how to dislodge her whole ‘personal reality’ that I didn’t know how to do I was going to have a dead client at hand. Causing human evolution… A manifesto of sorts

Causing human evolution… A manifesto of sorts

As I got further and further writing this article, I realized that what I am writing is some sort of manifesto. What we are doing here, what we aim to accomplish.

All the illustrations of manifestos I didn’t examine. They can be good, bad, or neutral. They are just illustrations. Don’t get your panties in a bunch…

OK, here is the article:

Whatever is preventing you from following instructions is your racket

Your soul correction, in effect, is a racket. Continue reading “Causing human evolution… A manifesto of sorts”

Why do you need humility to learn anything? Skills, habits

Why do you need humility to learn anything? Skills, habits

learning and humilityLearning is humbling. Especially humbling is learning about yourself, and learning about your need to change.

You have a Precious I. Whether you believe it or not, whether you know it or not, the precious I is in every single person.

And your precious I wants to have and retain the self-image unchanged, the self-image that says you know everything. That you are the center of the Universe. You are special. And it wants to keep the self-image where it is superior. Where you are, therefore, OK. Continue reading “Why do you need humility to learn anything? Skills, habits”

Mental toughness, your TLB… and desire traps

Mental toughness, your TLB… and desire traps

TLB is your Twitchy Little Bastard score. Mental toughness, AND high TLB is the difference between a reactive, undisciplined, five year old who cannot see past the next five minutes, and a person (whatever age) who can actually see and act conscious of the consequences of their action or inaction.

Tai Lopez calls these according to names of the Greek philosophies that reigned around the time of Seneca the Elder: the Stoics, and the Epicurians.

If you gobble up a cheese burger, you are an Epicurian who can’t see where eating that toxic stuff will leads you… fat, poor, sick, and wanting more.

If money burns a hole in your pocket… you are probably living the Epicurian lifestyle. You can’t stand not having your phone with you, ditto.

You dream of instant success, instant weight loss, instant love… you are an Epicurian… and a TLB 1. Continue reading “Mental toughness, your TLB… and desire traps”

When you see how Life came about, you can live better

When you see how Life came about, you can live better

There are probably many origin myths. Every group has one, because curiosity is as innate with humans as wanting the best life possible.

An origin myth explains why humans are the way they are… and in a way it also serves as a ‘how to play this game of life’ instruction book.

I am familiar with the ‘god created everything in six days and on the seventh he rested’ myth. Unfortunately, when I look, it doesn’t explain anything well, and it gives instructions that need a PhD to understand, let alone follow. So no, I don’t buy this myth, even though billions of humans do.

I like the Kabbalistic origin myth because in my work of penetrating the invisible I haven’t found anything that doesn’t seem to fit. This includes science too. Continue reading “When you see how Life came about, you can live better”

If you are not Jewish, can you learn receiving? aka Kabbalah

If you are not Jewish, can you learn receiving? aka Kabbalah

My article teaching the strategy of getting out of a deep ditch hit the spot for some people.

Here is one answer I got:

I found your article very helpful with the steps to get out of a catastrophe.  I am also beginning to see the original incident and how its been playing out.
Since the original incident I’ve wanted to be liked so badly that I could not say no to the salesperson – I did not want to make her mad at me. I wanted all the things she promised to happen so that others would like me too. And for some reason, because she said others were successful with the [product], I took it as a challenge in a way. In the original incident I must have said that they – my parents –  don’t like me. I am still looking. I don’t think I hit the sentence quite right – but it seems close.
Thank you for helping me. When I read it was the undertow – I knew I wasn’t crazy.

Everybody wants to be special… But it’s a bad idea!

Everybody wants to be special… But it’s a bad idea!

Santa Klaus’s name is Mikulás in Hungary, and of course Mikulas is Saint Nicholas, and his day is December 6. So today it is gift giving day in Hungary, mostly candy and nuts and red apples… as the song goes… in Hungarian.

When people come to me to have their food list muscletested, they rarely think that the food list will ask them to go back a couple of generations to a time when eating was different: you had to buy ice to have an icebox… You gave away half of your venison, or it would rot on you. You stored up goodwill for other times by sharing when it was plenty.

I am old enough to remember those times. Continue reading “Everybody wants to be special… But it’s a bad idea!”

What it is that you do that keeps you from the light

What it is that you do that keeps you from the light

I finally figured out what it is that attracts me to certain novels, certain movies, certain TV series… and repels me from others. What it is that I am muscletesting.

I am looking for goodness.

But goodness only exists in contrast.

So only the books qualify where the main character has both good and bad and in the struggle, the good wins… Also where the evil is strong, the pull to give up or to give in is strong.

As the Kabbalists say: only if and when you overcome the Opponent that you are good… for the moment. Continue reading “What it is that you do that keeps you from the light”
