If you grew up in a dysfunctional family, does it mean…

dysfunctional familyI have been working with my core group… and some of them I have had a difficult time to see why they never put out, why they never do what is theirs to do.

This article to unwrap that issue… and look at behavior differently. The student is judgmental… Has high, impossible standards for others… So let’s see what she could do so she could become a productive person, and maybe love herself…

The dysfunctional family

Here are some behaviors that I say come from this kind of upbringing… growing up in a dysfunctional family. Continue reading “If you grew up in a dysfunctional family, does it mean…”

In life you get what you negotiate… or win…

In life you get what you negotiate… or win…

In life you get what you negotiate. Not what you need. Not what you want. But what you successfully negotiate.

Some truths pop out when you least expect them.

None of my students know how to negotiate. My students are a microcosm… A mirror of the whole damn world. Continue reading “In life you get what you negotiate… or win…”

What do you expect? Perfection? Winning? No mistakes?

What do you expect? Perfection? Winning? No mistakes?
What do you expect? Perfection? Winning every time? Never making a mistake?

I caught myself this morning saying something really intelligent. (probably because of the movie I watched last night)

I always learn marketing. So I just participated in a 3-day event… I have three things I want to implement. Three things that I just learned at this event. The event that ended last night.

Of course, most of the things I learned will replace my ineffective marketing actions from before the event.

And there is a moment of reckoning:

I have been doing it all wrong. And I have spent a lot of money advertising the wrong way. I have been doing a lot of work that is now all wasted.

Sinking feeling in the stomach.

Who you are was created… An empath, Kabbalah, the words

Who you are was created… An empath, Kabbalah, the words
Part 1: the empath

If you have to suffer, make it meaningful. It will hurt less

Empaths have a glitch in their brain, I say, that makes that feel not only their own bad emotions, but others’ as well.

I didn’t know I was an empath until the year 2000. I was 53 years old. And I hadn’t known such a thing existed. I thought what I felt was all mine. And I suffered. For a decade or so I was under doctor’s care, often hospitalized.

I had some indicators I can see with 20/20 hindsight, but I still thought nothing of them.

Whenever, wherever I was around or near horny people, I felt what they felt. Horrible, if you ask me. Continue reading “Who you are was created… An empath, Kabbalah, the words”

A good murder, like good wine, takes time…

A good murder, like good wine, takes time…

A good murder, like good wine, takes time… It is only reasonable if a man is going to spend the rest of his life paying for a murder, he should be entitled to take his time while committing it.

It is not just murder that people are hasty about, impulsive about, it is nearly everything that is potentially impactful on the rest of their lives.

People, you, are either procrastinating about important things, or jump in with two feet, holding your nose, closing your eyes. Continue reading “A good murder, like good wine, takes time…”

Crying: what does it do for you? Expect the unexpected…

Crying: what does it do for you? Expect the unexpected…

When you cry and the crying/sobbing has no content. When you don’t know why you are crying, then something deep is clearing out.

But when you know why you are crying, then some past, some meaning, some opinion gets confirmed and your ego will continue giving you ‘reason’ to cry. Continue reading “Crying: what does it do for you? Expect the unexpected…”

In and out of duality… And how to bring Witness to it

In and out of duality… And how to bring Witness to it
Simon Baker in his role as Nick Fallin in television series “The Guardian”.

I wrote this article seven years ago.

Two things about it: I write better today… yay. The second: lots of water has flown down the river… and some nuts we’ve cracked… and yet, a lot of people are stuck in their misery covering it up.

In the story on Netflix, The Guardian, the lead character finally shows his true colors… Continue reading “In and out of duality… And how to bring Witness to it”

Information is like milk. It tends to go bad over time

Information is like milk. It tends to go bad over time

information is like milk... soured-milkInformation, knowledge, possibility, attitude, skill, capacity… they, all, in one way or another, are information. And they behave like milk. They go sour… useless… bad.

You may want to ask the question before you research, buy information, ask questions: ‘am I doing this just in case I’ll need it later or am I doing this because I need this to move forward right now.Continue reading “Information is like milk. It tends to go bad over time”

What is the difference between an object and a person?

What is the difference between an object and a person?

Everybody resents being treated like an object… But the truth is: YOU consider yourself an object… by not using what would make you a person.

Are you a person automatically? No, you aren’t…

What is the difference, the ONLY difference between and object and a person?

We, most of all humans live as if we were an object in a world of objects.

And if I asked anyone, why, they wouldn’t know. My students, my teachers, philosophers, everyone. No one knows.

And if you don’t know something, if you can’t recognize it even if you trip over it, then, of course, you won’t use it, you won’t strengthen it, you won’t even want it. Continue reading “What is the difference between an object and a person?”

4 principles for a fulfilling, financially rewarding life

4 principles for a fulfilling, financially rewarding life

I look at my dreams as guidance.

Now, you need to know that I almost never dream a whole story… I dream moods. Some situations.

Last night I dreamed about going back to Israel, meeting people I had known, experiencing their attitude towards me. Wasn’t pleasant.

And just before I woke up I was shown the theme I am going to write about. Continue reading “4 principles for a fulfilling, financially rewarding life”
